Servant Plumbing of Mt.Pleasant

Servant Plumbing was in the middle of another job for me (bathroom remodel see other review) when my roommate and I noticed wet carpet outside of guest bath. I called Louie and he had someone there in minutes to verify the leak. This leak was in the older section of the house and in the wall leading to the guest toilet. The toilet had to be removed as well as a large section of drywall to do the repair. The leak was a bigger job than originally thought but Louis stuck with his original price quote :-) Two plumbers came out on a Saturday and tag teamed the job. Louie also made sure the drywall was replaced and mudded in.

This job began when a closet in the back of the house was flooded. I called Louie at Servant Plumbing over Memorial Day weekend. He was able to send someone out and as expected the shower in the Master bath (that was part of an addition to the house) was leaking profusely due to an improper install (by a non-Angie?s list contractor). Louie took the time to work up several options for me and also had at least two other experts look at the job for their input. Apparently it is not uncommon for contractors to take advantage of people and do poor quality work, but this job apparently was one for the books! Throughout the process Louie checked in on the work and the plumbers and Tile Company (separate review) did an excellent job and were very professional. I have never seen workers constantly cleaning up after themselves like they did. The job included ripping out the corner shower that had been improperly installed, jack hammering the concrete slab so that the plumbing could be properly installed from the beginning. Due to the water, wood in the walls had to be removed and a new shower built from scratch. The new shower also involved putting new sheetrock divider wall (partial) and support. Quite a bit of tile work had to be done. Even though the job probably entailed more than Louie thought when he first gave me an estimate, he stuck to his price and there were no unpleasant surprises for me. The work done was of the highest quality and I am glad I could upload before and after pictures because the difference is amazing. Also during this time, we had a second leak in the guest bath that Servant Plumbing took care of. I will try and write another review for that. Servant also gives a 10 year warranty which is unheard of and I will definitely use their services again!

This is not the first time that I've used Servant Plumbing and after having received excellent service in the past I didn't hesitate to get an estimate from them to remodel my bathroom. Even though Ive used them before i did get two other estimates. Their estimate was very competitive and spot on and I chose to go with them. This job could not have gone any smoother. Louie is very detail oriented and picked up on things that even I did not notice as being a problem. He had his guys redo a couple of different things because he did not feel that it was perfect. Perfect is the only word that I can use for this company. All of my phone calls were returned within 15 minutes or less and he was never in a rush to talk to me about any questions or concerns. He updated me constantly as to the progress of the job. When it was done, it was absolutely flawless. These guys are the best around and I cannot imagine my bathroom coming out any better using any company anywhere.

Was at my door within an hour...spent three hours because faucets with very challenging.

The worse part was calling different businesses and being put on hold and telling me they couldn't dig up my yard and this and that when it as a minor repair. They called a guy right over and the whole event from when I cracked the pipe to the pipe being restored to original condition was less than one hour. The first thing he said when we talked on the phone was did you get the water turned off?

They came in and got to work right away and before I knew it he was done. Loved the service and would use again.

Main line into the house burst and was gushing water into the yard - on a Sunday, of course. Called and Louie sent someone within an hour. Completely fixed and very reasonable cost.

The service was exactly as advertised. Lou called me within 15 minutes. The serviceman showed up exactly on time. The work was performed perfectly. They couldn't improve on any aspect.

Problem was resolved very quickly.

Servant Plumbing is one of the most professional companies I have ever used. I called Louie for the first time last week. In one of my rental houses, a faucet had gone bad and was dripping. He told me that if I bought the faucet and took it to the house, he would set up a time with the tenant and get it put in. So he called the tenant and set up a time and then let me know. The day of the appointment, I called the tenant to make sure the repair person had replaced the faucet with the one i bought and found out he had never arrived. I called Servant, another person answered and had no idea what I was talking about for an appointment that day, and said that Louie was out of town on an emergency. He apologized for the mistake and said that he would take down the information again and make another appointment. Needless to say, i was not happy, but went ahead and made another appointment after the other person said he would knock some money off of the cost of putting in the faucet. Later that day, Louie, himself, called me. He apologized profusely. He said that he did have an emergency, but that did not excuse him or his company from dropping the ball and missing an appointment and he would put in the faucet free of charge!!! I told him that was not necessary, but he insisted. He was there on time and the faucet was replaced. It shows me the kind of professional person he is before he even did any work for me. After making a mistake, he wanted to make it right with me as a customer. He respected my time and that of my tenants. I know that in the future, I will have someone I can count on and will definitely use him in the future. Thank you Louie.

Louie returned my first call within 15 minutes. Josh showed up EXACTLY at the appointment time. He was coiurteous and professional, and did the work in an excellent manner. The price was fair for the work done, and Louie called back later in the day just to make sure I was satisfied. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!

The water bill had doubled to 19,000 gallons in a month so something was awry. We called one plumber whom we had formerly used when we had American Home Shield (which came with the house we bought), who came out and said the outside water pipe must be busted and gave us a very high estimate. I went right to Angie's List and saw the reviews for Servant Plumbing so I called Louie who was so pleasant and was on the way to a job, and sounded like he had a lot going on, but he knew I was worried about more water being wasted and concerned about the flooding around the house so he fit us in the next day! He surmised the same thing as the former guy, except he went one further by suggesting he replace the pipe all the way to where it meets up with the house, and his estimate was significantly lower. He managed to squeeze us in the following afternoon. I was just so impressed by his manner and his professionalism and the way he took his time to explain everything. No wonder his business has such rave reviews. I feel so much more relieved knowing that we have such an excellent plumbing professional to turn to in the future. God bless Servant Plumbing!!

They were very good. I called on Sunday and they came out next day earlier than expected. They come when they tell they promise and at short notice. The person that did the work was very professional and a good person. He did an excellent job and we were very pleased.

I waited 2 weeks to write the review to make sure I had no other problems. Everything is working well. Servant plumbing followed up to see if there were any issues which there were not.

The end project was fantastic. Took a little longer than planned due to several unforeseen issues which are usual in this type of project. Louie, Les, Josh and Walt were the best. The are perfectionists which shows in their work but not in their pricing, which is very fair. They go out of their way to keep their customers satisfied. Louie is easy to reach and discuss any item related to the project. He knows more than just plumbing and gives you a lot of helpful advice on many items related to the project. I have looked to them for many other new projects I have as we redo this house. They are old school plumbers, they take the time to do it right and will not cut corners even if it takes money out of their pockets. They want customers for life not for one and done jobs. We will use them for any plumbing related need in the future. Thanks to all of you for a job well done.

Louie and Walt built a new outdoor shower for me in my backyard. Louie basically designed it with some input from us and when it needed to be revised he did it and only charged for materials. He treated this as if it was in his own backyard. His pride in workmanship is refreshing. They worked all day and into the night to complete despite having been sick the day before. The final project is beautiful .As I have said in other reviews on other projects they have done for me that I have worked with many contractors over the years and these guys are way up on the top . They take pride in everything they do and will not take short cuts. If you ever have an issue, they address it right away even if you already paid the entire bill. Service after the sale is their mantra. They want customers for life. Thanks again guys for a job well done.

Walt and Josh with guidance form Louie worked to be sure we were without plumbing service for a very short time. They found the problem and were able to come up with a cost effective solution to rectify the problem. Walt worked on this issue well past dark. Servant worked diligently with us to try to find this problem that was very difficult to uncover since it only appeared under certain conditions.

I have used them for many projects at my house . They are fantastic. Louie is so responsive and easy to work with that it makes the project so much easier to get done. He has great people who work with him. Les, Walt and Josh have a strong work ethic and do things the right way. They do not take short cuts. They are very fair on pricing . They treat the house as if it is their own . They offer recommendations that are very helpful and often times takes money from their pockets if they feel something can be done better and less expensively they tell you. I can honestly say that I own multiple properties in several states and only wish I could get them to come wherever I have plumbing related needs. They are the best which is evident by the many other great reviews they get. They are customer focused. It is so nice to see a business that gets it with customer service. I would not think of using anyone else.

The gentleman was excellent and very nice as well as honest with me about my toilet. He came the same day I had called. He was able to confirm it wasn’t leaking and just put a seal around it. He came around the last part of the day and he worked hard to do the job.

My call was returned within 1/2 hour and I had service the next day over the weekend. I was very impressed with the quick response and the friendly service. I was provided with a quote for the kitchen before service and received quality work. He even did a nice job cleaning up the area. He took his time explaining what was involved with moving the washing machine drain and said he would get back to me with a quote. I received a call that same day with a very detailed explaination of work and estimate. I decided not to schedule the work due to the scope of work and cost, but I really appreciated the level of care and time to explain everything. I would definately call them again and trust their work.

Josh arrived on time, gave me a fair estimate, and got to work right away. He had all the parts he needed with him, and was done in 3.5 hours. He was super friendly and positive, and didn't mind crawling under the house to get the job done. He cleaned everything up well, gave me time to inspect his work, and left with a smile. What more could you ask for? These guys are awesome!

Spoke with Louie to schedule the appointment and he was very professional. Josh, was sent to complete the work and was 45 minutes late to appointment, although he did call 15 mins prior to inform me he was running late...hence the "fair" rating for punctuality. I underestimated the cost for what I considered a small job, but $185 seemed slightly steep for 50 mins of labor...that's $222 an hour...more than what my attorney charges. Ultimately, I could not have done it without their expertise and Josh did a flawless job. I felt like I could trust their honesty even though it was more than anticipated...that goes a long way with me. I should have asked for their minimum service call prices over the phone to get a more realistic expectation of total cost. I would recommend them but for a more complex plumbing job where that level of skill required would be commensurate with the cost.
