Larry came out for the initial inspection and explained everything clearly with pictures. All technicians were very professional. Olen and TJ did the lion share of the work and kept me informed on their progress and the condition of my crawlspace. I have a 3100 square foot house and about a 1600 square foot crawlspace. HVAC unit was leaking water under house for a while, which made it very wet under there. Insulation was falling down and saturated. All the insulation was removed, crawlspace is now clean, dry, and mold is gone. Encapsulation and Dehumidifier should keep it that way for years to come. Olen and TJ deserve a raise.

This is the the second house I have hired Joel and crew to encapsulate the crawlspace. In both occasions, I could not have asked for more. He does what he says, does it well, and stands behind his work. Before encapsulating the crawlspace in the first house, I had a number of contractors quote the work. Joel's knowledge and approach stood out from the rest. When it came to my second house, he was the only one I called. His crew did a great job on both crawlspaces. A year after completing the work on the second, there was a problem with the dehumidifier. Joel came out and replaced it free of charge, no questions asked. I can (and have many times) recommend Carolina Mold Solutions to anyone who needs to remediate mold and/or encapsulate a damp/humid crawlspace.

Carolina Mold Solutions is a highly professional company that provided quick and efficient services. We had a rental property that had tenets living in it for a couple years and were never informed that there was an issue in one of the bathrooms. We only found the issue after we were able to regain possession of the property. We called Carolina Mold, and they came out that day to look at the problem. By that evening we had a quote to complete the work. They scheduled the work for three days later and two technicians arrived at the scheduled time. They partitioned off the bathroom and performed remediation on the area. They also scrubbed down the walls and all the carpets on that floor to make sure that all the surrounding rooms had been treated too. That evening, I received an email with a link to all the photos that had been taken for my records; as well as confirmation of payment. Carolina Mold Solutions was responsive, professional, and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone who is having a mold issue.

EXCELLENT. Joel’s team knows exactly we’re mold hides and what is causing it. You won’t believe this but they can smell where the problem originates. Their work is impeccable, no cutting corners, no schedule delays and their confidence gives you a 25 year warranty. It has been difficult for me to find good quality workmanship in Columbia SC. Carolina Air & Mold Solutions is the exception to the rule. I wish other companies were as professional and proud of their work as this crew is. Definitely second to none!!!

Joel and his guys showed up, as promised, and performed some remediation on rain and moisture that had gotten in my attic and behind my siding. Instead of cutting into my old tongue and groove walls from the inside, they took sections of siding off from the outside, removed the wet insulation, sprayed the area with an anti-fungal and dried the areas out. Had I not consulted with them, I probably would have developed serious mold issues with warmer weather. I hope i don't have problems like this again, but I would definitely use Joel again, if needed. His team is very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend them to anybody.

These men are fabulous! Not only was the job handled in a very quick and efficient manner, all the staff was polite, proficient, and professional. When they said they would be here, they were here: when they said they would be done, they were done. As a bonus, they were very respectful of our home and all it’s contents, and Joel was happy to help the insurance company with our claim by providing photos of the site. ( We are seniors and don’t know how to do that). A few days after the job was done, Steven got in touch to make sure everything was handled to our satisfaction....which it was. Mold testing results were fully explained as well as solution options. The experience and expertise is evident.

I talked with Joe about the pricing, but did not have him come out as i had already made arrangments with another company to come out and give me an estimate. The company that came out wanted to charge me twice what Joe was charging. They stated the reason was because they paid extra for a 48 turnaround where other companies would take three weeks. i called Joe back and he assured me that he could get the same test results in a 48 hour turn around so i went with him and indeed got my results within 48 hours as promised. Thanks Joe so much for giving me the same quality service for half the price!!!

Carolina Aire & Mold Solutions is a family run company that takes pride in their work. Joel Few and his crew were extremely helpful and very professional. Joel came out to give us a free estimate and outlined everything that his company would do. They removed and disposed all of the wet insulation, removed the mold and fungus, and installed a heavy liner that covered the ground and part way up the wall, sealing it to make sure that no water could get in. They disinfected inside the house and the air duct system. They even had an industrial air purifier that they put in the house to clean the air from anything that might come through the vents while they were working. The crew also alerted us to problems that they found in our duct work (some laying on the ground, not properly strapped up, and one that had even come undone). We were able to get this fixed while the crew was there and they made sure it was done correctly. They also alerted us to a plumbing problem that needed immediate attention and made sure that a plumber would come asap to correct it. I am beyond pleased with the job that this company did and I would highly recomment them!

This company was very prompt, professional and easy to work with. The company came out to my house within 24 hours of the leak to prevent further damage. The company was very thorough in their removal of the damage and the drying process. The company also took extra measures to ensure the house was safe for my family, especially my newborn who was only 2 weeks old at the time. After the work was completed, Joel and his company worked with my insurance to get my full reimbursement. I would definitely rehire Carolina Aire and would recommend them to anyone in need of mold removal, water damage removal or any of his other services.
