Masterbed and hallway installation: On the day of installation, the guys showed up more than one hour late. They set up their table saw on my front porch; by the end of the day, saw dust was in all the spaces between the wood on the front porch. Needless to say, that was not easy to clean up. They also tracked saw dust through the house without putting a runner down to walk on. They didn't clean up after themselves, my husband and I had to spend the evening and next day cleaning up. The quality of their work on this project was a B. I think they could have done a better job hiding the nail marks with putty. Stair installation: These guys took a sample of the flooring that they installed in my masterbed and hallway and they were supposed to stain stair treads to match the floor. They dropped off a sample at my house and I called them to approve. When they showed up at my house with the stained stair treads, I realized that the stairs weren't even a close match to my flooring. I had them stop the installation at that point. They refused to sand and restain the treads, saying that they had already put in a lot of time and effort staining. Lowe's offered a great resolution by offering to sand and stain the treads themselves then let Diamond Floors install. Lowe's did a great job matching the stair treads to my floor and even delivered the stair treads to my home at no cost. The only thing Diamond floors had to do was install the treads that Lowe's provided and sand and stain 3 stairs that were already installed. All of the stairs that Lowe's stained and diamond floors installed look absolutely fabulous. The problem I have is the 3 stairs that Diamond floors sanded and restained look aweful. They rushed through the sanding process so much that there are dips all over in each of our stairs. The nail spots stick out like a sore thumb because they didn't use putty to even out the surface of the stairs. The stain/polyurethane job that they did on those 3 stairs looks horrific. There are brush marks all over each stair and even a couple puddles (i repeat PUDDLES) of polyurethane. I am still trying to find someone else to re-do the 3 stairs that they screwed up. Which is why I joined Angie's List!! Please, Please, Please.... save yourself a ton of time and headaches. Do not let these guys step foot in your home!

I really cannot say enough good things about this company. From the initial estimate to the installation of our floors, they were very professional and answered any questions we had. They called us the day before and day of installation and let us know what time they would be there. Four showed up and had all the furniture moved in 5 minutes, carpet up in under an hour and our beautiful floors installed with all the trim work done before 5 pm. They were just awesome and I would recommend them to anyone! I am so happy with the whole experience. They are a class act!

Diamond Floors were excellant. They always were right on time from the estimate to the work. The floor is beautiful, and I was pleased with the price. All the people I dealt with from on the phone to the work itself were professional and very willing to work with my schedule. The work was done in November and when I called about something I wanted changed (for my own reasons, not because of their work) in Feb they came out quickly and did the work.

It went great! In fact, I was surprised to read the other report here on Angie's List on this company because this was not the experience we had with Diamond at all (luckily!). Gabriel talked to us at length and came to do the measuring. Thereafter, Joshua, Robert and Ben from Diamond were the team that came to do the job yesterday and the whole experience was GREAT! They called me the night before to notify me that we weren't going to be the first job of the morning as we originally expected and then when they arrived they were totally polite, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, helpful and thorough to the end. At the end of the project, they cleaned up their mess completely and then reviewed the whole job with us and made sure that we were 100% satisfied...and we were! I would highly recommend that you give Diamond Flooring a chance...through us buying the hardwood flooring through Lowes, Diamond Flooring was our designated installer and we had a wonderful experience with their staff and the new hardwood floors look beautiful!

It is a family owned business. Gabriel came out and measured the floors that I wanted to have the laminate torn up and replaced. He came out and understood what I wanted done. He gave me a price quote on that. I went and bought the flooring and it came on time. On the installation day, they made a huge mess and didn?t clean it up. They did not do anything to protect other areas on the house. They didn?t do one part of the job. I stopped them and asked about it and they said it wasn?t counted on the estimate. I showed them the estimate and also pointed out some mistakes that they had done on the flooring. They got grumpy because I asked them to redo things. They left glue down and I had to clean it up. They tracked glue all over my new floors that I had to clean up. They came back on Saturday t re-install the office floors which was convenient for us.

They were very congenial and easy to work with. They are a top notch company.
