It was a big job.  Then we hired them for monthly maintenance.  They come every two weeks to mow the lawn and so on.  On the big job they did a great job.  They also replaced the concrete sidewalk in front of the house.  It was probably on the expensive side but it was worth it.  They were very responsive.  They discussed everything in detail and did a great job.  After the big job, the monthly maintenance job didn’t really interest them.  They talked a good game but I fired them.  They weren’t showing up on time.  I asked them to do several things and it never got done.  It was obvious that they were interested in the $10000 job but not the $150 monthly job.  The quality of their work was good when they did it.  The owner of the company was very professional and very knowledgeable.  After the big job, I didn’t see him.  I would not recommend them.

They are good. I'll probably use them again. They were very responsive. They were very professional and courteous.

They do a great job overall!

Working with Brookegreen has been a completely satisfying experience, from the first yard walk-through to the last. Bobby (the owner) and Joe (the foreman) are focused on customer satisfaction! Dont like something, they will change it. New idea, they will incorporate it. Not sure what to do, they will give you an idea. To these two guys the jobs not done until you are a happy customer!

Our landscape overhaul and revival project had gotten off to a rather bumpy and unsatisfactory start with a different company, so we were cautious when selecting our next vendor. It was important to us that we were able to develop strong communication and a sense of trust.

We started the project with Bobby by doing a yard walkthrough and discussing some ideas we had, things we liked and things we didnt like. He spent over an hour with us in that first meeting, returning on a subsequent occasion to take exact measurements and photographs of the existing landscape.

Our next step was to review the professional landscape design plans that Bobby had created for our project. Bobby brought multiple views/elevations of the landscape design, hardscape design/materials books, example plants, and a portfolio of past work which served as a good reference for our discussion. We couldnt quite visualize the scale of some of the hardscape, so Bobby took us to a previous job where he could demonstrate what it would look like.

Regarding the project scope and pricing model Bobby was fair and understanding. He worked with us to make adjustments to the plan so that it would fit within our budget and we would get a finished product that we would be proud of. The project was estimated to take 3-4 weeks, but due to a very rainy September was extended to 7 weeks for completion.

Joe and his crew really made things happen during the build phase, which has completely transformed our yard! They primarily worked a Monday - Thursday schedule putting in long hours to get the job done. With attention to detail at every step, more than once they made changes proactively to ensure the job result was top grade. These guys take a lot of pride in what they do.

I often travel for work, so on more than one occasion Joe and I would meet to discuss and review progress on a Friday. He always made time for my feedback, questions, and ideas. If something was uncertain they were able keep me updated with SMS pictures and eMails directly from the job site. I always looked forward to coming home and seeing the great progress made that week.

Having enjoyed both the experience, and project results, of working with Bobby and Joe we opened our new patio at jobs end with a celebratory cook-out for the entire crew! I would recommend Brookegreen to anyone who has landscaping needs!
