We had an enormous amount of rain and new grass that needed to be cut. We needed someone who could handle the job correctly because the new grass had grown to almost 12 inches tall in some places, and the ground was oversaturated with water in some spots. Pete and his crew worked us in last minute and did a very professional job. When I explained the issue they knew exactly what I wanted and were very knowledgeable. This helped us get at least one good cut on the grass before the freezing temps over the weekend and a chance to save our new grass. So far, everything looks great and is we haven't noticed any dieback due to Pete and crews hard work.

Overall doing a good job. They do what they say they will do, and do it on schedule. Communications are good. They fail to pull some weeds in some areas that I would have expected them to pull, but that is a minor issue.

They arrived on time, took a short lunch, and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

This is the third year I have used Costner Care Lawn Service to aerate, overseed and apply lime to my yard. The process is very simple - I get an e-mail offering the service, I respond and ask the cost, Costner lets me know cost and approx time for service. Five to seven days prior to providing service Costner lets me know the day he will arrive so I can flag the irrigation system, then he and his crew show up as planned to get the job done. The work is executed quickly and efficiently and best of all the clean up is great - no dirt left in the driveway or on the sidewalk, and they even collect the flags in the yard and put them outside my garage door. A few weeks later I receive an e-mail with the invoice for his service, which I am glad to pay for. It is all simple and efficient which makes Costner easy to work with. I will use his service again next fall.

I called Peter to help me out after my mower went in for service. He called me right back and came to our place and did a really nice job with the cut of the lawn. It's thick and he made sure to cross cut it which made it look great. While I won't need his services once my mower is back, I would consider using him for other landscape / yard projects.

Peter has been taking care of my lawn for nearly three years now. We originally started with the basic services of mowing and trimming the lawn, and other options were provided on an a la carte basis. I was hesitant to go into a larger contract, as our previous contractor failed to live up to expectations. Peter and his crew are happily the exact opposite. The work is and always has been top notch and we have expanded our contract to include full care of our lawn from front to back. As a result, our lawn is as plush and green as can be. In my opinion, it's one of the best looking in the neighborhood! I'm happy to recommend Peter's work to anyone and everyone that asks about help with their lawn. His prices are reasonable, he's always professional, and is VERY quick to respond. He's a rare find in this line of work.

Peter showed up one morning and started work. He said he would finish the next day and I thought he was crazy and could not do it. Well, he finished about an hour later than he predicted the next day. We agreed that he was an hour late because I talked too much! He did a good job and was very concerned that we be happy with what he did. He planned job out, worked hard, and did a good job.

It started out fine, but as time went on he became more and more argumentative. He has his own ideas of what should be done.

Did a fine job. Used an aerator pulled behind a lawn tractor along with a walk behind aerator for more precise control. Got the job done when promised, coordinated with my schedule, and cleaned up well afterwards. I can see the seed germinating so look forward to a green lawn next spring.

We got a card in our mailbox letting us know that he had moved into the area. Our last experience with a lawn service company was not good, and Peter was very professional and very patient with us from the start. Our lawn looks fabulous and it is all thanks to him!
