Precise Repair & Remodel

It went well. Scott's staff was on the job promptly prior to 8am most of the time. They worked consistently, cleaned up every day and answered any questions we had. They also made sure they were following our instructions. Scott came every day to supervise and keep us aware of the project status. Scott had good suggestions when the wife and I asked for his opinion.

Scott and his team did a GREAT job! Plus, they finished below budget and ahead of schedule! Because they finished earlier than quoted and used fewer materials, Scott reduced the price without me even asking! His business philosophy is that he wants to do a great job on each job knowing that quality work is what earns repeat and referral business. The word "Precise" in the company's name is CLEARLY for Scott's critical eye and attention to detail. I didn't find a single shingle nail left behind by his guys which is unusual for roof work. He is the kind of guy that a homeowner wants to hire because he doesn't do the work as just a contractor but rather, as a professional with the perspective of a homeowner. The extra touches on things. Scott was able to meet me right away, provide a verbal estimate and then had an official quote to me shortly after that. Because this was a one-day job, he was able fit it into his work schedule only two business days after he quoted me! He and his team showed up early and were very considerate of our home. For example, before removing the skylight, one of his team members recommended that a drop cloth be placed on the floor beneath the skylight to catch any debris. THAT is the kind of thing I would not have thought to do if I were doing it myself! It saved time and the pain of having to clean up a mess. Also, the design of the roof caused water to bypass the gutter and fall directly into the flowerbed below. This eroded not only the mulch but also the dirt and undoubtedly ended up making the sump pump work harder than necessary. His team was able to provide a custom solution to catch and redirect the roof water to the existing gutter while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the roof design. In addition to that, to get at the gutter behind the basketball backboard one of his guys helped me remove the backboard which was a HUGE help to me! Plus, another guy sealed the holes the backboard left which saved me the trouble of having to do that myself. To top that, I didn't even have to ask him to do it! Then, to test that all of the gutters were straightened, secured and sealed, the guys ran water through all the gutters and ensured that they functioned properly. Lastly, when they were finished, one of Scott's team members did more than just put the garden hose away. He also took the time to coil it up very nicely which even I hate to do! It is a testament to the attention to detail his company provides. Scott and his team are cost conscious and considerate. He had his guys do some extra touch-up and repair work that needed done on the roof "while they were at it" and didn't charge extra for it! Additionally, his team was also able to use some extra shingles I had in the garage which saved me having to pay for a stack of new shingles! The brand new gutter section looks GREAT! When you combine that with the newly sealed skylight, it provides peace of mind about water problems not only to me but also to my wife and THAT is money well spent on a quality, “Precise” job.

Had Scott and his crew working at our home for almost a month. Crew is always punctual and respectful. I've got a four year old running around and he never hears an errant cuss word which I greatly appreciate. Scott is very focused on detailed and quality work which can lead to what seems like a longer production time, but I think he is very efficient with his time given the quality of his work. What I like best is that Scott AND his crew want to do a quality job for you. The only downside is that he is awfully busy and if I want to get on his schedule, I have to be patient. That said, the cost and quality combination is worth the wait.

The company was on time, friendly and professional. The new door looks so good its almost as if it was the original. We couldn't be more pleased.

It didn't I am beginning to think that this Angies List is not what it should be.

This was a very involved home remodeling project that took several months, and Scott Wright/Precise Repair & Remodel was just fantastic to work with from start to finish. Scott always responded very quickly to questions, he and his crew showed up when expected, and they did a wonderful job with all aspects of the remodel. Scott's attention to detail is second to none, and he didn't hesitate to fix or to re-do something that didn't turn out just the way he thought it should. I would absolutely recommend Scott and his team to anyone with any kind of home remodeling/repair project.

Precise installed marble panels and bottom to make a master shower. I had ordered factory inserts for holding shower toiletries but they didn't match the rest of the shower. Scott created beautiful and unique shower shelves that are much more spacious than the original idea. When the shower head wasn't putting out the proper pressure, Scott came back and spent the time to figure out how to adjust the shower head to give the perfect shower. Precise also put in the vanity and faucets for the bathroom sink. Everything looks great and works perfectly!

They were on time and did a very nice job.

Scott and his team were there every day on time. They finished the job in less than 7 days which was ahead of the tentative schedule he put out. The bathroom looks brand new. Everything was fully functional and great looking from day one. They cleaned up after the job better than I'd hoped for. I definitely plan on using them again. They are pretty busy but I'm glad I waited for Scotts team to become available.

Project took longer than expected ( all remodels usually do) and the cost was about $1000 more than expected also. The project turned out beautiful and will use Precise again! Appreciate the attention to detail and if something does not look right, they are willing to fix it!

Showed up early. Gave me a quote and offered to do the job right then. Did a great job and had the best price out of everyone.

He did excellent work.

Received an email back within 4 days. The response was regarding my question to install a fence and how much it would cost. Unfortunately Scott does not install fences at this time due to being priced out of the market by strong competitors and due to other projects he is involved in. He sent me a very nice email apologizing why he isn't able to install a fence at this time. I believe he would be great to work with on any of the remodeling work he performs. Unfortunately we don't have any remodeling projects in our forecast, so we were not able to do business with Scott, but will definitely remember him f anything comes up down the road.

I scheduled an appointment with Scott to repair a whole in my garage ceiling for 5pm. When he did not show up for the appointment I called him at 5:30 pm to confirm if we were still meeting. He called me back about 15 minutes later and stated that he was at the wrong address....that he went to his Thursday appointment (it was Tuesday)....and that it would take him about 20 minutes to get across town. When he finally did arrive he did apologize for being late....then we discussed the project and when I asked him for an estimate he stuttered through an estimate. He gave me the impression he really didn't know what it would take to repair it. He then went on to say his estimate was a little high because he usually does much bigger jobs. I asked him when he would be able to do the job and he wasn't sure....he would need me to be available on last minute notice because it was such a small job. So basically he was asking me to pay more and be inconvenienced to get the job done. He then recommended I call someone else that he thought would quote me half the price....and to keep him in mind for larger jobs. I will not be working with Scott again. It turns out his estimate wasn't so high compared to others I received, but he thought it was. I found him professional.

Scott and his guys went above and beyond what we expected. This was our only bathroom with a way to shower, so Scott and the guys made a temp. shower in our basement so we would not be inconvenienced. We are so glad we choose them to do the job, it turned out beautiful!! Scott has enough experience that he helped me plan out what I wanted by giving me examples of past work. And we will definitely use them again! When you find someone that actually cares about what kind of job they do, you tend to use them going forward. Thanks Scott, you guys were amazing! Best contractor I have had in a long time. Fast, good price, and friendly. I am pretty picky about work done and I will have him back.

I am very happy with the work Scott and his crew did. Their bid was a couple hundred below two other bids. The work was done quickly. The cleaned up the drywall mess and even mopped the floor. Scott refused to install the aluminum work after he noticed scratches in the aluminum work that was cut off site. He had his crew reform new aluminum pieces and install it on-site. While he was waiting for his crew to show up with the aluminum work, he reinstalled the aluminum trim around another garage door at no cost. Scott is a pleasure to work with. I will definitely consider him in the future.

We had so much damage that it took Scott and his crew almost 3 solid weeks to complete the repairs. They arrived promptly every day and immediately went to work. We appreciated that they covered our flooring and furniture with drop cloths, and at the end of each work day, they cleaned up the work area. We initially did not notice a lot of the damage, and though we didn't want to know we had more damage than thought, Precise and crew, took the time to show us, and explain how the damage could be repaired. Now, the inside of our house looks great!

They did a great job under difficult conditions. Shingles were replaced in a timely manner before more bad weather. Price was less than quoted and included materials. I will definitely use this company for future work.

Scott was very responsive. We are out of town and he was always on time to meet us. We are very pleased with the work he and his crew have done. Especially the restorative work...it is very hard to find someone who is skilled enough to do detailed repairs. And at the same time, able to do a variety of repairs. Considering the amount of work that was done, I thought his prices were very reasonable. I believe Scott is trustworthy; and whether you have an old house or new, I am sure he will always do a good job.

I (David) called and set up an appointment for an estimate on drywall that I wanted to be installed, which I was providing. Scott said that he would stop by Saturday the 8th at 5-6pm for an estimate and never showed up. I called him and left a message if he was going to still come by, he never responded to my voice mall. Maybe Scott was busy, but a call back would have been nice. I went with another contractor because of time constraints. According to other reviews Scott does great work, I wish i could have done business with him.

Excellent work! I am very satisfied. Scott and his workers were professional, prompt, and particular about details. Made suggestions of things I hadn't thought of that resulted in a better outcome. They were neat and cleaned up well each day, which was greatly appreciated. I am already planning additional work with him.

I paid for materials, flooring, vanity, etc. |Overall very pleased with results. Project ran a little longer than expected but this was due to a couple issues that came up. Scott was great to work with, kept me updated on the status and made sure the work was done to my full satisfaction. I intend to use Precise Repair & Remodel for some other projects I have in mind this year.

Needed to finish part of a mostly-finished basement to add an exercise room (or hobby workshop). Very prompt with giving an estimate, fair price, and very nice person. Work went fine, and he always kept me informed. Scott is great, would definitely hire again. Always responsive.
