Moved from SC to NC. Cannot recommend Jordan River. Day of packing forgot stickers, had to drive back to Columbia from Hilton Head. The second day showed up 1.5 hours after the designated time. 4 people very slow. The contract stated delivery on the 4th day. The day before moving they stated they made an error and had to deliver a day early... we would not even be there. After irate phone calls matter resolved. Due to another error, only 2 folk arrived to offload truck, 3,000 sq ft home to 3 different rooms in the storage facility. We signed off the inventory list quickly due to 7 hours of offloading I furniture. . Driver stated no issues as the truck was loaded and unloaded without stopping. After careful examination, the inventory sheet stated our mattresses were ripped, soiled, stained... totally incorrect, in fact, all mattresses were 6 years old and 2 only slept on a few times (guest rooms.). Also stated master bedroom furniture worn, scratched, etc... 6 years old and distressed markings is the style and not damaged. . A few other items were also marked as such. . Thinking that checklist absolves them from any issues, and it was an embarrassment to us as we care for our furniture; took pics of the mattress and sent to them to show new condition. Asked to have clothing stored in one facility in front, initially started that way but did not end up like that, we had to rearrange one storage room. Also, boxes were not marked except for the bedroom, kitchen, and our clothes, shoes, and some random boxes were thrown into one box. On another Previous long-distance move, boxes were carefully marked as to content and location. The positive in this entire experience was our contact person who always was prompt and friendly in answering our questions. Due to these issues cannot give this company an endorsement.

From the first contact till the end of the actual move, I received friendly but professional service. They followed up prior to the move to be sure all was on schedule and arrived exactly on time the day of the move. They wrapped my furniture, were very careful and patient with me to place and replace furniture so I was satisfied before they left. Never a complaint and always happy to accommodate. Iâ ve moved several times and this company and employees were customer service first! Great job and very reasonable with no surprises on cost. I highly recommend them and already have. Very professional and friendly. The gentlemen that came to help me move were wonderful. The way they wrapped all the furniture to make sure everything moved without damage was impressive to watch. For my situation, they moved all of my stuff into a storage unit. When my house is ready, this is who I will call to move from the storage unit into my new home.

Be sure to check complete charges . They don't include labor charges in estimate and taking goods off truck is an additional charge when putting in warehouse

This is a top notch moving company. I have moved several times and Jordan River has been the best by far. Their estimate came in lower then their competitors by a large amount. I actually had a competitor argue with me that this was a mistake on my behalf and I would regret it. They showed up ready to work. They wrapped all, I mean all of my belongings and handled them with general care. Deliver was as excellent as pick was. They handled my items with care, they were personable, and again generally cared about our stuff. I would recommend Jordan River over 2 Men and a Truck, My Two Sons moving for sure.
