 + -1 moreThey quickly found the valve boxes that I could not. They rewired one zone and dismantled and cleaned out the valves for all the zones. It took between 3 and four hours and the repair worked and was a lot less than replacing the valves.

 + -1 moreDespite it being the busiest season for firms in this field, Mr. Gardner responded immediately with an initial call only a day and a half after I contacted him, based substantially on the positive assessment of a prior experience found on Angie's List. He quickly replaced the failed system timer, but in checking its operation found several other difficulties which time did not suffice to address on that occasion. He offered to return only three days later to complete the repair. On the day before the Fourth of July holiday weekend, he and his assistant worked from their arrival after six until nine in the evening. They individually checked every sprinkler head or other water distribution device (don't know this terminology), checked all pipes, electrical connections, valves and in general every component of the entire system. Finally, Mr. Gardner took time, despite the lateness of the hour, to provide this complete novice with orientation on the operation of the timer and the watering system, and his advice as to how it could be employed to best advantage to maintain the lawn and shrubs at this newly-purchased home.
Description of Work: Initially called because timer for lawn sprinkler system failed. After replacing timer, Mr. Gardner performed a complete inspection of the system, and found one failed sprinkler head, two pipe breaks, and several other minor problems, all of which he resolved. Finally, he provided this complete novice about these systems with orientation on how the newly-installed system timer operates, and how the system should be programmed to gain the best advantage from its capabilities.

 + -1 moreExcellent! Work was done on time and within agreed upon budget. Stan worked along side his employee all day every day until the work was completed to my satisfaction. He made adjustments to the plan at my request at no additional charge and came back out to fix a sprayer I broke without charging me. He did not ask to be paid until he was sure I was completely satisfied. I got three quotes for this project and Stan's quote was the lowest. I was a little leary about going with the low bid but chose Gardner Irrigation based on excellent references from past customers. I'm really glad I did.
Description of Work: Installed lawn irrigation and faucets in front and back yard. Also ran irrigation under driveway to side yard and into wooded area next to my yard at my request.
