I needed a garage door header replaced because of wood rot. The crew responded and completed the job in half a day with exceptional quality. I will use this company again in the future and recommend them to all for any interior or exterior home repair job.

My overall experience with Brownstone was disappointing. They arrived to the job w/out proper equipment twice (plastic) to cover my furniture while repairing (sheetrock & painting) ceiling. Worker lost control of ceiling fan when removing it & I had to run over and hold it in the air for almost 5 minutes while it was removed while the worker looked down at me saying "it's heavy isn't it. He was extremely careless with the mud while repairing the sheetrock. Walked through the mud & had it all over my floors. When he packed up to leave he was walking our the door & I asked if he intended to clean up where he tracked mud on my floors & he responded that he had nothing to clean it up with and asked me for a towel. The worst part was walking into my bedroom after he finished painting and found 3 footprints on my bed & in a chair. In addition, he stood up on my new ceiling fan and his foot went through the box. I contacted the owner (Cortez) and told him I felt my home was being disrespected as he had a ladder and still stood in my chair to paint & walked on my furniture. The owner said he would have to watch his employees more carefully to ensure they pay more attention to detail. This frustrated me to no end as how is not walking on a customers furniture "attention to detail." Cortez came to my home the next day to view the footprints on my furniture & could clearly see 4 footprints. He advised he would send a cleaning crew when the job was finished. I accepted this. If I were in his position, I would have at least immediately wiped away the footprints instead of leaving them for my customer to look at for 5 days. My hardwood refinish project turned out great, he hired a subcontractor so I can't give Brownstone any credit outside of knowing who to call. I gave the stars strictly because of the flooring job.

Cortez, was very professional and efficient, we are very satisfied with the entire process. The job was completed in a timely matter love my new hardwood floors and backsplash. Also great job patching the ceiling and repairing of the hardwood.

I have never had quality service like this before from anyone. We had an issue that needed immediate attention, so the owner came out to quote the same day I called. The job was done the next day.
