Brian arrived on time, introduced himself, and was courteous and professional. He went way beyond what we had even hoped for with his service call. He did all of the work and checked other shutters to make sure they were all tight. He paid attention to all of the details and used the proper equipment and screws for our brick house. We will use him often in the future to take care of both big and small jobs. I have some much larger jobs that I plan to use him for in the near future. I would recommend him with no reservations at all about his work or his professionalism. It was a very pleasant experience.

Brian was very punctual and started early. He worked hard and got done in abou t a half day. Was very thorough in inspection and did it right. Very affable and fair guy. Recommend without reservation.

As always, my review will indicate Brian is top notch. This is the third time I have brought him into our home to provide his handyman services. I have yet to find anything he can't or won't do. He was punctual, a bit early even, has a friendly pleasant demeanor and gets to work after discussing the issues. This time there were four lighting fixtures that needed to be replaced. He was given the replacements and completed the work within 90 minutes. He asked if we had any other projects, which we did not, but I mentioned a light bulb in one of the garage ceiling housings I hadn't had the inclination to climb a ladder to the twelve foot high ceiling. He took my step ladder and soon had replaced the blown bulb along with another that probably had little lifetime remaining. This fella is intelligent, hard working, knowledgeable and our handyman of choice. He leaves no litter at the worksite and is as helpful while doing his job as anyone could ever want.

He was fantastic. He was very polite, personable and a real pro. I would recommend him to anybody.

He worked the full time purchased in the special deal, and did a great job.

Brian was very professional and very responsive to my needs. Brian only does what you ask him to do and is always looking for ways to save the customer money without degrading the results. My job was very small but he was on time, explained all work, gave me advise on other unrelated tasks that I can do myself. When he showed up for the job he figured out that he could make some of the fixed easier and reduced my price by $200. Contractors take note about how a customer should be treated respectfully.

We purchased the materials from Home Depot and Brian installed them for us. Brian is awesome. He has completed several projects in my mothers house and the go to guy for us. He arrives when he tells you he will be there, and just an overall nice guy to work with.

Brian Barb is one of the most professional contractors Ive had the pleasure to work with. We, the company I work for, have over fifty properties and Brian Barb with Bravo Services is our "go to guy." He is punctual, honest, has a high quality of workmanship, and always comes to a job site with a good attitude. The last job he did for me included the demo of a bar/pantry and removal of flooring, tiling a 600 sq ft kitchen and den combo,pouring a new shower pan and re-tiling the shower, hanging beadboard in a utility room, anchoring a center island in the kitchen, installed cabinet doors, replaced glass panes, installed new bifold doors (tracking included), installed a new door bell, repaired/replaced gutters, installed gutter guards ( while fighting wasps), and much much more. I scheduled the amount of work to be done for ten business days. Brian started on a Monday and finished that Saturday. He knew this project was "pressed for time" and he did all that he could to not just finish, but finish early. I would highly recommend Bravo Services for any of your household needs.

Brian arrived on time as usual & went immediately to work. Had to pick up a needed device from Lowe's to complete the job and came right back and finished also cleaned out remaining items that were no longer needed. Went over everything with me and sat the old commode to the curb for trash pickup.

Brian arrived 10 min early and began working. He cleaned each area as he completed work. His skills are comprehensive--he can fix/install/etc, a variety of projects. He needed a small part for a door handle that I couldn't find in original pack; luckily he had that piece in his truck--prepared for many unexpected challenges.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! DON'T USE ANY BUSINESS THAT BRIAN BARB IS CONNECTED TO. Gave me a bid on 5/27/14 for bathroom work. Lost his only employee so couldn't start right away, that was ok we would wait. Said all the right things, but apparently they were all lies. Then said he would start work on July 8th.....Still haven't heard a word from him. Never did the work and did not return more than 5 calls to him. Wasn't MAN ENOUGH to even call and tell us he didn't want the job, just left us hanging...Hope the person that wrote the 7/18 review doesn't have any future problerms. I have 10 rentals homes and I am always look for referrals from other clients (good, dependable workers are hard to find) and all I can say about Brian is NOTHING... NOTHING GOOD. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GUY. Hopfully this will help other clients to not waste their time like I did.

Fine. He responded well. He was personable. He made sure the job was done right. I asked him to be careful about my carpets and he took his shoes off. He was respectful of my house. The price was excellent. He utilized his time well.

Their prices were too high. He didn’t do a part of that and it was partly because I had to order for some light fixtures. I had arranged for them to put a total of five light fixtures and all of them didn’t come in at one time. They put up two of them and that work was okay but in the mean time I asked them to do some other work. They added the price on to the price that they had quoted on to do all the five light fixtures. They took the price and on their way and I had to wind up getting someone else to install the other light fixtures. The other job was also in the same condominium but that would have been to remove an existing interior door and basically install a new door including the framing in the door. They quoted a price that I thought was exorbitant and I informed them about it as well; I didn’t use them anymore. They were too expensive for the work that they did. I will not be using them again because of that. When they removed those mirrored areas it turned out that the wall behind that was covered in mold so I wound up having to get someone else to come in and deal with it and rebuild that wall. All that they did was tearing out that wall and didn’t replace it because when they got it out they informed me that they weren’t capable of doing it. They admitted that they weren’t capable but did take my money. They delay coming to install the lights. They talked too much about information that I didn’t need to know about.

This is a supplement submitted in follow up to an earlier review where a block of 8 hours service had been purchased. At that time, Brian knocked out my to do list in 6 hours and insisted on returning to complete the package when I put together another list. On this return trip, he was punctual as usual. He hung a foyer chandelier; placed a brace in the crawl space beneath a grandfather clock that vibrated when footsteps passed nearby; installed a new weatherstrip at the back porch door; painted several metal exterior handrails, and; painted seven exterior light fixtures basically clearing my to do list again. This list is not all inclusive but it gets the point across. Frankly, we are out of ideas where we can use his services. But, this fella is a workhorse and will remain our handyman of choice. We have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Brian should up 15 minutes early and went to work. He addressed all issues that he had detailed in a quote to me in a timely manner. He communicated with me for each job to insure he was providing the exact service needed. The in-ground sprinklers he installed work as intended, he cleared tree limbs and deposed of debris from my 2-story home (very tall and steep roof incline), repaired a large hole in the concrete slab patio, braced the subfloor that was sagging, and cut the wall panel to insulate HVAC ductwork then replaced the panel using wood trim to conceal the cut. All of this was done in less then 4 hours. His demeanor is professional and courteous. Will use him again and definitely recommend his services to any home owner who has need of a professional handyman service.

Contractor Brian came out to look over the job to let us know what materials we would need. He was about 25 minutes late getting to the house. He did call to let us know he was running late. He told me the material list we would need and I was able to get everything but the 8 crown blocks he requested. I looked at several different stores, Home depot , Lowes and Stock supply. I was unable to find the blocks that would complete the crown molding. I asked him if he could just cut them and make them. He stated he was only getting $70.00 for the job and he would not do the blocks. I told him my husband looked for them at several store to no avail. I told him I thought a professional should be able to cut them and asked him if he knew where we could get them and he stated that we were supposed to have all the materials. He called back and said that since we did not have everything we needed that he would contact Angie's list for a refund.

Brian is fantastic. Smart, fast, reliable - he did a great job. I'm so glad I found him. Brian went above and beyond what I asked him to do.

Brian arrived on time as usual & went to work immediately. His work time and professionalism were duly noted! My sink is currently functioning very well and Brian has great information otherwise as it pertains to maintainance on plumbing, etc. But overall, I'm very pleased with his work and professional attitude!!!

I don't know that there is enough space here for all the accolades I have for Brian of Bravo Services. He has excellent communication skills. He maintained terrific contact as we proceeded with the service deal and he had marvelous flexibility in working with us. Because we had an extensive punch list of items that needed attention we purchased an eight hour package of his services. Most important was staining the upstairs front porch floor that had been renovated and stained three years earlier. I anticipated had I done the floor, at least five work hours would have been involved and I would have been exhausted. I felt confident he would not be able to complete the entire list in eight hours. He completed the porch floor in less than three hours doing the staining on his knees with a brush. Granted, Brian is much taller than me so he could reach over the railing and paint under the railing and made certain the ends of the boards were sealed. The stain only went where it was supposed to. The rest of the work took three hours and my list and materials were exhausted. So, he said he owed me two hours and insisted on returning to finish out his agreement after I prepare another list with whatever materials are needed. He is courteous, polite and knowledgeable. This fellow is fantastic and, no, I'm not related to him nor did I know him prior to the Angie's List package purchase. But, I will tell you this, Brian has become my handyman of choice.

es again for sure. Probably pretty much exclusively. I just moved to the area and I can honestly say I have found my "handyman" in this new location and I could not be happier.

I found the price to be somewhat high, but would use him again. I'm very partial to people who (1) know what they're doing, and (2) do it in a timely manner. Brian does.
