We are a locally owned and operated home improvement and exterior cleaning company based out of Providence, RI and servicing all of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and throughout New England. Description of Work: Tried hiring them again after my first bad experience years ago, for the gutter repair “deal” that they were advertising with the 2 year warranty. I paid basically double price for the repair plus cleaning. So it was a super expensive “cleaning”. The repair consisted of squirting some caulk. They never corrected the pitch. The gutters leaked exact same places after they left. I had ice dams on the same places in winter. They keep blaming ‘dirty’ gutters for the leaks so they can keep “cleaning”. I should have learned my lesson.

Description of Work: Initial set up was easy. Rep on the phone scheduled me an appt on 06/20/20 at 9am. On the day of the appt, I get no phone call letting me know that they were running late. I called the office 2 times. One at 945 and around 11am. No one picked up and I left messages for both calls. Eventually around 1130, they finally show up. I met up with Carlos. He didn’t even apologize or explain why he was late. Mind you we had plans to leave the house by 12. Obviously those plans had to be pushed back because of them. So Carlos goes up with an air blower and cleans out the gutters. When he was done, I walked around the house and noticed one side of the gutters that still had debris hanging out of the gutters. He assured me he cleaned them. I doubted him at first but I took his word. I also gave him a 20 dollar tip. Which I later regretted. The following day, I had people going up on the roof to give me an estimate on a roof repair and they informed me that one of the gutters were full of debris and needed to be cleaned. When they told me that. I was irate and immediately called Melvin Power Wash to complain. They asked me for pictures to confirm. I sent them a few from the bottom and they wanted pictures from the roof. Once I will send them the pictures from the roof. They informed me that they will reimburse me. I will follow up with this review. I highly DO NOT recommend Melvin Power Wash. Save your money and go elsewhere. I lost $149 from them. Hopefully I will get my money back. If you don’t believe me. Please contact me and I will show you pictures of my gutters. Thank you UPDATED AS OF 07/06/2020: This an update to my review. After I posted my review. They have completely ignored me and will not return any of my phone calls. I also think they blocked my number because every time I call it goes straight to voicemail. They told me they would reimburse me and send me a check in the mail. It’s been over a week and I have not received it. I am so frustrated with Melvin Power Wash. I want my money back on the service that was not completed to my satisfaction. I highly do not recommend them.

It went very well, my gutters were clogged and all the water used to fall in my garden and my mulch used to be washed away, now since my gutters are unclogged that does not happen anymore. My driveway looked awful, now it looks very nice and clean. I asked for my deck to be power washed and since winter is coming he applied a waterproof sealer. So I no longer have to worry about my deck getting destroyed with the coming winter months. Thank you Melvin and crew.

Everything went great at first I had only window cleaning, but I ended up asking him to wash my deck as well; I had already work with Melvin in the past, so I knew that I was going to get great results I am extremely happy to see out my windows again!!! He did an amazing job with my deck as well they were some stains, that I was not liking from having barbecues, this whole summer, and they came out! Thank you so much once more!
