Melvin Power Wash

He was very prompt about getting back to me and scheduling a time. A mistake I made was not reading the fine print of the deal that the deck power washing did not include the railings so even with the "big deal" it did cost more than we've paid previous years to have the job done, but again we did not read the fine print, it was clearly written. We were shocked with how clean the deck looked after power washing. We have it done almost every year but because of the side of the house it's on it gets green very quickly, but Melvin worked on the deck almost all day and it came out beautifully.

They put a lot of time in very thorough job. They were very good.

It turned out well. Melvin was very energetic and prompt. He was a nice guy. He charged me the $99 but the trick was the $99 was for one-story gutters and mine were two and three stories up, which I didn’t realize when I bought the deal. When I looked at it again, it was clearly stated. He charged me a little more for the gutters that were higher than one-story. We talked about it in advance so I don’t feel like he sprang anything on me. I just didn’t read the deal very clearly. I would say that he was very friendly, eager and thorough. He cleaned my gutters, which were extraordinarily clogged in a strange way. He is very responsive. I don’t remember him being late. He was a little bit casual. Some might have wanted him to be formal.

Very thorough, job well-done

They came two weeks after I purchased the Big Deal. They wanted additional charges for my porch but they ended up not charging me for it. They also didn't wash inside my sliding door. It is not that they did a bad job, they just missed certain things. The 3 front windows didn't get washed on the outside, because I can still see the stuff that was there when I called them. The ones they did look fine.

Outstanding service - very professional!

There was a problem with communication at first, but once that was worked out, everything went great and according to plan. I have no complaints with it.

Melvin did an amazing job. He was thorough, careful, and professional. I have some big trees, and he and one assistant cleaned all the (VERY clogged) gutters in a very respectable length of time. He also flushed out the underground line which carries the water to the street, in the course of which he found that it was clogged with roots in one spot. This was something I already knew, but had not mentioned to him; I was impressed that he found it. Melvin also pointed out a couple of places where I needed small repairs to some flashing and seams; again, these were things I had noticed, but not mentioned, so was impressed that he caught them. He charged what I thought was a really reasonable price; he worked hard, was done in a very reasonable length of time, cleaned up everything and hauled all the leaves away. He gave me a VERY reasonable quote for the repairs, and I hired him for those jobs as well. Again, he did a great job, and was incredibly neat and thorough. Even the project which involved digging up and clearing the underground line (which I had been dreading) was done very carefully and neatly, with the sod replaced on top, making it very inconspicuous. He also has an efficient and professional office operation; they always called to schedule and confirm the jobs and dates. I also gave his name to my sister for her gutter cleaning, and she and her husband were also very impressed and very pleased with his excellent work, efficiency and professionalism. We're both planning to hire him again for other jobs. Melvin's great. I highly recommend him.

The team did a nice job cleaning out the gutters on our beach house. We purchased one the deals on Angies List so it was a very good value. They needed to do a little more than was included in the deal, but were up front about that before they started the work. They arrived on time, and quickly took care of the job, cleaned up and were off. Overall, a good experience.

Melvin's did an excellent job thoroughly cleaning out our gutters for the winter season. We are extremely pleased with the company's service!

I was hoping to get the work done before Christmas. I have been to busy and need to request a refund.

Even though it was a cold day and marginally warm enough (frozen gutters in the morning) Melvin was able to come at the appointed time and thoroughly cleaned the leaves and debris from all the gutters in my 2.5 story home as well as hosing down all the gutters and downspouts to ensure no clogs were present nor would be. Also cleaned up all the leaves and debris that had fallen below to the grounds surrounding the house. Very satisfied with the service and will be using them again. Highly recommended.

were very diligent about getting glass thoroughly - getting every smudge off were not really familiar with the workings of sliding curtains or (at first) how to take apart windows and their built in outer storm windows otherwise very hard and pleasant workers but why anyone would come from Providence to Chester to do this job, I do not know.

I called Melvin's Power Wash once again, since they've done some work for me before.I need it to have my concrete around the pool wash after we gave it a pretty good use all this summer. Now it looks great again. I ask him is he had time to pressure wash my fence since it started to look moldy and green and he mention that he did have the time. He did it and now it looks beautiful again almost as if it was painted. Thank you, and I am glad you came back to do such a magnificent job again.

We had an appointment at 9:00am. I left for work at 9:30 since they hadn't shown up. They called me at 10:30 to let me know they arrived. They quoted me at over $500 to clean my windows as they consider each window as two units.

I used the Big Deal for power washing of my house. What a difference this made, my house looks like it did when I first bought it. Melvin was here a few hours and did a fantastic job. He noticed how my white vinyl fence was looking a little "green" as well and quoted me for that and I asked about gutter cleaning. I ended up booking those additional services and he came the following day. My whole family went out after the work was done and we are all so happy with how the fence and house looks. There is a house near me that has same color siding and I was able to see how bad that looks compared to mine now :) Will definitely be using Melvin in the future and I've already started to spread the word on my Facebook to friends.

Arrived a little late; however, they explained what they would be doing, cleaned up after themselves, asked me to review for satisfaction, and departed about two hours after they started. Nice young men.

I would put this guy at the top of the list for providers. He was professional and trustworthy. Im pretty sure he fixed a piece of the gutter that dipped down a bit which caused water to spill onto my porch. He did not have to do that. Great price! Great guy! Will use him again for sure.

The owner and the crew were excellent. Because of the difficulty of the job, it took more than three times the amount of time they scheduled, but they did not complain. They even came back a second day to finish up. The results were excellent and they were extremely professional.

Melvin and his worker arrived promptly and washed with soap every single one of my 30 windows inside and out. He came a few days earlier to give me a quote and set up a time. Since it rained on the first day, we were able to set up another time. He was so courteous and proud of his work. Every single window was shiny and spotless. Very pleased with them and their work and would highly recommend them.

They were a little late arriving due to rush hour traffic, they were very professional and polite, got to work right away and did a fantastic job cleaning all of my porch windows. My windows are sparkling clean! They did a fantastic job and I would definitely use them again.
