Arrived on time and completed the job quickly.

They were here the day following my phone call. They did a great job removing all the debris from my gutters.

i was not home at time of service. They provided service on scheduled day. I am assuming they cleaned the gutters.

Melvin and his associate did a great job replacing our old gutters. We replaced 50' using a big deal. It entailed a little more work but the additional $80.00 was very fair.

I was very happy with the work. The deck (which is made with pressurized wood) was quite dirty, and it looked great after they were done with it.

I found the advertisement for deck staining and a coupon for an amount off of the total price from Angie?s List. I think the coupon was for $220.00. Melvin gave an estimate for deck stripping and staining of my back deck and patio attached to my house on September 26, 2015, the day he started and finished power washing my house. The coupon was applied to the deck staining that was offered on Angie?s List. Melvin?s crew came out to start work without notifying me. They chose to start at the back door of the deck with stripping material without telling me. It was quite a surprise when I stepped into some very slippery, sticky material to take the dogs out back. I could not think of any reason why they would start at the back door and just a small portion the first day. One day two crew members worked all day in the rain, opening my deck table umbrella and sitting under it at the table for some time during the day. They left garbage and soda cans from lunches throughout the process and left a plastic bag full of stripped paint that my dogs got a hold of and tore up in the yard, which I had to clean up. They never notified me of their arrival dates and times. I left several messages without returned calls. I started emailing them and then would receive replies back. Melvin, at the start, told me he would strip all the paint from the deck boards before he started restaining, which he did not. There are areas that are uneven of color due to the incomplete stripping. They did not paint areas they said they would, such as the side boards and stairs, making the job look unfinished. When the staining was finished, Melvin said the crew would return our deck furniture back to the deck, which they did not. My husband and I had to move furniture from the lawn back to the deck. To top it all off, his crew ruined one of my wrought iron deck tables with paint stripping material, which stripped the paint from the table in several areas. I informed Melvin about the damage. I was told he was sorry the crew did this and he would return to fix the damage caused by the crew. He asked for a date he could come out to fix it. I told Melvin he could come anytime and he never showed up on the date he gave me, ?Friday,10/30/15 at 8am?. This is the email that I received after informing Melvin of the damage. ?Sandra Melvin and I are very upset to hear how our crew was not careful with your futniture. When is a good day for Melvins to go and fix the table top? He has the material to fix the surface's table?. I would like the table replaced to compensate for the damage done to it. I bought it from Porch & Patio.

Came despite the bad weather, made good recommendations, confirmed acceptance of additional footage before proceeding.

It took them a long time to contact me. But then when I finally got to them, they were responsive in sending someone out. I wasn't totally, completely satisfied with the sealing that they did on the deck. I thought that they were going to use a regular sealant and roll it on with a roller and all they did was spray it with Thompson's Water Seal. It wasn't what I had thought it was going to be. But this is what their offer was. So I really didn't complain about it. Within a couple of weeks after I first purchased the offer, I did get a call and they left me a message. I kept trying over and over again to get through to them with the number that was left and the person's name, Luzet or something like that. I could not get through to them. I left messages and there were no calls back. So I called Angie's List and Angie's List must have contacted them because as soon they did, they responded immediately and they said that that person was no longer working with them. They apologized for not getting back to me and then went ahead and did the power washing. It was already cold. The power washing was fine. The railings weren't perfect. But they said it's very difficult to get the mold off the railings and that they would come back and do the sealing another day. They would let it dry for two days and then come back. I told them that I didn't want a colored stain. I just wanted a clear stain, which we had done before. But they came back with Thompson's Water Seal and put it in a sprayer like a garden weed sprayer. Honestly, you can't see much difference on the deck. In the spring, I will seal it myself again because I don't think the sealant was what it should have been. For what I thought they were going to do, I thought the price was reasonable. But for what they actually did, it was just average. They should have responded. When they got my message, they should have called me. I shouldn't have had to call Angie's List to get through to them. They should have described what the sealant was going to be and what it would be like. When I told them I didn't want a color stain on there and all I wanted to do was do a clear stain, they just came with this big 5 gallon that looked like water. They poured it into a weed sprayer and they just sprayed back and forth. Some places got coated and some places did not.

Purchased the $99 gutter cleaning. Cleaned gutters on third appointment after not showing up for first two. It took 2 1/2 months from the time I purchased the service, to when the gutters were cleaned.

We purchased a deal for house power washing and they did a good job but did not do one side of the house, under our portico, and missed some spots along the roofline. It was good enough to spruce up the house again but not worth the money again.

Responded to all messages, missed first day scheduled for estimate but explained reason and had a valid excuse. Came as soon as able after. Easy to schedule work. Will call again for spring power washing.

Didn't show when scheduled and no phone call. Had to call Angie's List to even get in touch with person from company. They were done way too quickly, didn't do a good job, and just left a receipt in the mail box. Didn't even give me an opportunity to inspect or comment on the job as I didn't even know they were done as they just left. My house doesn't even look like it was done and they missed several spots.

Everything was fine. They were very good and we are still going to go on and do more work together. The only problem I had is that they showed up early, so they had started before I had arrived home and I purposely came home at the appointed time. I was grateful they had checked the downspouts to make sure they were working. They were a little high compared to others. I think they should have come at the agreed time and if they were early, I would have expected a phone call to say, we are early, is that okay with you? A phone call would have been appropriate. They are worth the job.

Super prompt and easy scheduling (all via email), crew showed up on time, did a fast & thorough job.

Melvin and two other workers did the work efficiently. They were polite and left the area clean. We are pleased with the gutters.

A pleasure to do business with. They are very professional and easy to get in touch with. He also pointed out an issue with my existing gutters and offered to give an estimate on the spot for repairs. I am very pleased with the service overall.

Very well. Recommended some gutter repairs which I will think about.

Showed up on time, completed work in about 1/2 hour. No issues!

Scheduling was easy and they were very prompt. The work was well done and in a timely manner. They also warned us that the gutters needed bracing or we may have issues when the snow starts, I really appreciated that. The only reason I didn't give them all A was because they showed up before the time scheduled and immediately went on the roof, without checking with us first. We woke up with the noise of people walking on our roof - it was a bit disconcerting. The other issue I found was that they ended up throwing roof debris all around the house and didn't tell us about it. I would still use them again, though!

They did not performed to what I assumed I contracted for. They said the only choice I had since I had the lowest tier of membership was leave a bad feedback. I contacted them and I got no response. The guy, when he was done I told him he was suppose take the screens off and go inside the windows rail and clean all that kind of stuff out. The guy looked at me; I don’t know how good his English was but he came back and said that what he was to do for $250 for an hour and a half. I wasn’t very happy and I didn’t get the bonus. I didn’t get what I paid for.

This was a big deal purchase. It sort of turned out 50/50 right now. I have three decks made out of mahogany and I chose an overly orange color for the first deck, but it is okay because I chose the color and it is not visible to a lot of people. I really like them a lot, but it has been okay. I don't want to say anything bad about them because I like them very much. They worked very hard, but it has been a little difficult to arrange everything. I asked for three different decks to be done. Of necessity, of course, I understood that the price could go up. However, I am not convinced that they did what they said they would be doing. They are nice people, they try and they show up. They call, like, if it is a day that is too cold to do the work. They do not just disappear from sight. We have not come to final terms. They have been good. Before I used them again I would take complete control.

As Always, Melvin's crew was on time and on target. These guys really did a great job in what they were paid for. They cleaned up the front of the property after they did the gutters, and walked me around back to see the pile of leaves that were around my fish pond (from the corner of the roof). We have not yet done our total fall clean-up and I told him not to worry about it. Bu the fact that one of his crew was concerned made me feel like these guy care. Yes, I'll use them again and again and again.

Melvin is very personable and works hard. He lacks some professionalism, particularly in arriving on time and letting us know that he was going to be late. Because he travels all over New England, he doesn't seem to know the area or know how to judge distances. But we didn't want that to keep us from using his services. He did a great job on the porch and on the patio, cleaned up thoroughly and was generally helpful and friendly. The job fixing the flashing turned out to be much easier to fix than he had imagined and he was willing to come down on the price. We hope he succeeds in his business.
