 + 0 moreInstall - no major problems during install. He was punctual and the team seemed to do good work. Did up-sell several times saying that was not in the estimate. He was not the cheapest but the one with the highest ratings on Angie's List. Gutters leak in several place called for him to take a look and address. Like I never existed - doesn't remember doing a job for me, pretends not to speak English, will not call back. Unacceptable...do yourself a favor don't bother. I have to hire another company to fix and replace his work.

Afterwards, he pointed out several places where the previous owner had incorrectly installed the gutters. He gave us a quote for the repairs, we rehired him a week or so later to make the fixes - which he did promptly, professionally, and quickly. Would definitely use again!

 + 0 moreNegotiated specific aspects of the job at the outset. Turns out the negotiated scope of the work was much less than "the deal" implied in terms of gutter-length and time to completion. Also they provided no feedback, warnings, or advice regarding the actual situation they surely discovered, and that we subsequently discovered: namely that they reattached gutters that themselves needed replacing, to roof structures that also needed replacing (and now have been).
Description of Work: clean and reattach gutters on small outbuildings.

 + 0 moreFirst they didn't show up at scheduled time Then when they did come they were very rough with gutters (stepping on them, pulling the screens The gutters were cleaned well based on water I saw coming out of downspouts but now I have to have at least 2 sections I need to get repaired When I booked appt I was told to send check but the man that came said to give him the check which I did. A few weeks later I got a call from woman I booked with complaining that I hadn't paid them.

 + 1 moreThe provider was able to perform the gutter cleaning in 30 minutes, having gutter guards in all the gutters was very helpful. Provider reattached a downspout which had come loose from brackets. The work was done quickly and with excellent results. Provider used a power washer to clean gutters this caused gutter debris to cascade over the gutter onto my paver stone driveway. It should have been swept up. Overall work was efficient and timely.
Description of Work: Two Story attached garage with gutters on both levels. Gutter guards on all gutters. Rescheduled by provider 2x's. Easy job done in 25-30 minutes. Provider left debris on paver stone driveway, didn't sweep up. Down spout needed to be reattached and was done very well by provider at extra $40.00 cost.

Description of Work: Did not get call or email from Melvin Power Wash. I then sent him an email for my money back and he said that he had tried to call me a few times and "nothing". I asked him if he left a message because I had no messages from him. No emails either. He then said is xxx your number? I said no - that is not my phone number - again gave him my number and he said that Angie's list had given him the wrong number. I told him to check that out. All this was done via email. So it's been now 2-3 more days and still no call from Melvin. Asked for my money back. No answer as to how I get a refund from them or Angie's List. Very unprofessional. No response to my question. No call to schedule the work. Terrible provider.

Though they were 30 minutes late for our scheduled appointment, they were VERY apologetic about the delay, and did the job quickly and to my satisfaction. They were very pleasant to work with, and recommended a small additional service that should be done, but was not urgent. There was no pressure to do the additional work just a "this needs to be done at some point. Call me if you'd like me to do the work for you." I would definitely hire them again!

 + -1 moreWindow panes looked great but they did not do a very good job cleaning bottom sills of windows (not the woodwork- I wouldn't expect that!) as they advertised . I had to go back and re clean every sill because it made no sense to have clean windows and dirty sills. I wish I knew prior to service -I would have prepared. Other than this, I was happy with the job. They were very respectful and efficient . They worked hard. Maybe it was my fault for not clarifying the work. I did pay extra $100+ for additional windows and doors but I expected that based on description in ad. Give them a try

 + -1 moreMelvin and his crew did a great job. They were running late, but notified me several hours in advance. They did a nice job and were flexible in accommodating my requests. The windows I had them wash required ladders and dexterity, but it not seem to phase him or his crew (3 total). I should also mention that he provided a Certificate of Insurance - very important for this type of work. Melvin offers a number f other services - power washing, painting, deck sanding and treatment. There is a good chance i will sue them again.
