Flavio does excellent work. He is a hard worker and very neat. He built a deck with stairs for us on an embankment that was difficult to work on. It came out pristine pristine. He was here early every day and completed the job. We also have other work inside for him to do inside.. I would highly recommend Flavio for any job. He is a Gentleman. Flavio is one of the best carpenters ive met in over 30 years....He has done multiple projects for me and i have many going on...from crown molding on kitchen cabs to adding new windows, to new decks, repairing window sils and even siding a cinderblock building with vinyl siding.... I have built 2 homes and refurbished one home and have worked with numerous contractors...and i can tell you first hand that Flavio is one of the Best..He gives creative advice..hes very reliable...he works as if it his own project...and never skips or takes any shortcuts...cuz i literally stand thete the whole time... It's just Amazing to watch him work for i am always so nervous but as soon as he moves you can see he has his #*@% together....and you feel confident and overjoyed that this man is the real deal and your job is getting done right!.....You can see immediately that he has the knowledge and experience...and can fix Anything! He is also neat as a pin....I mean i could write a book about him....He doesnt smoke.anything...swear. yell or scream...he is very respectful and very honest...and You can trust him in every possible way....He shows up on time and stays positive and works like a real man....Never complains ..easy to talk to and the very best thing i love is that he is very very reasonable....and he will beat anyones quote...I feel so blessed to have.met him in the parking lot of Home Depot...He is very special and hope he stays in this business for many years cuz i couldnt even think of calling another. We are a small company in East Providence that needed very overdue renovations to our building. The project called for totally gutting and rebuilding three bathrooms and a janitor's closet plus installing a new floor in our cafeteria. We spoke with several contractors but Flavio was our immediate choice. He understood the project and our budget. He was extremely helpful giving us suggestions that saved our budget but did not compromise the finished project. His crew and his subcontractors were all first rate. Overall, we could not be happier with the results. The bathrooms and other rooms look amazing. Most importantly, Flavio brought the job in at EXACTLY his quoted price. We recommend this contractor unequivocally.

Flavio was very professional from the time we first interacted. He was really easy to work with and punctual. He is very straight forward & will tell you what he can & can't do. He pays attention to detail, takes pride in his work and has fair pricing. One other thing I really liked is that he keeps his work area clean. I highly recomend him and plan on using him again.

I've hired Flavio for several small carpentry and remodeling jobs over the past several years, including installing doors and windows, building stairs to a 2nd story deck, and most recently building/ remodeling a mantel. we were nervous about doing work in our 90 year old house, especially cutting through an outside wall to put in a slider with small deck!!! Flavio had great ideas and the process was seamless. He was punctual, responsive and very professional. The time it took to do the work was exactly what Flavio quoted. There wasn't even a mess. Flavio did a great job on this difficult project. We knew the rooms needed work, but once the floor was opened up discovered leaks, and rot, and structural instability. We were not interested in spending alot, as this is a rental property, and Flavio made sure we understood the options and the costs. He coordinated work by a plumber, electrician, and worked with them in a way that kept the overall duration of the project short. I can't say enough great things about Flavio. He is everything you could ever want in a contractor and then some! He was always super responsive, he was incredibly flexible with our unpredictable schedule, the work he did was beautiful, he got everything done incredibly quickly. And to top it all off, he charged us what I would say was incredibly good rate for the quality of the work that he did. He also was very good at helping us figure out what we wanted to do with the space in our kitchen. Oh, and he's also just a really great guy. A++++++++++++.

Flavio does great work, but the things that I believe really sets him apart are that he is responsive to inquiries, he communicates, he’s respectful of his clients’ time, and he’s a pleasure to have in your home. We get compliments all the time on the work he’s done in our home, and that should be reason enough to hire him. But I think there’s a ton of added value in the trust and certainty I have that he will show up when he says he will, he’s honest, and he’s easy to talk to. These are things that you simply can’t put a price on. I would recommend him for any job, large or small. He’s helped us love our home more than we ever thought we could!

Mike was amazing, knowledgeable and a professionalist. He was detailed oriented and punctual. I was looking for a contractor to get my floor done and the few I came across was either Incompetent or promised to the complete the job in 4-6 week. When I contact Mike to get a quote, he came get the measurements done in less than half hour and send me an email the same day. He got the job done in two days and he did an excellent and amazing job. Thanks Mike you’re great at what you do.

My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the work done by F. Oliveira's Home Improvement. We had front stairs built over existing old cement stairs that started to fall apart and a new front porch and railings. He also replaced a broken storm door. Flavio is extremely meticulous, hard working, personable and easy to connect with via phone, text or email. The work was completed on schedule and at a fair price. We would hire again if needed and we highly recommend him.

I had recently moved to RI and found many sub-par contractors who gave not so great quotes. However, Flavio was great with me and always worked within my budget to make updates happen. Over the course of a few months, he updated my deck, fully renovated my kitchen, re-shaped my laundry room, and gave me invaluable suggestions to improve the functionality of my home. I will admit and say that he is super busy and has multiple projects he is booked with, but if you are willing to be patient, then he is the best contractor in RI.
