They did a fine job, but they didn't let us know when the carpet came in. We had to call them, and they said, "Oh, it's been here." They lightly scratched our wood floors, moving furniture from the rooms that they put the carpeting in. There also was no follow-up phone call, to see if we were happy with it. I think that's a big plus for businesses, to do that, but they didn't. I would have used a different company that we also got an estimate from, if I had to do it again. The finished product was perfect. It's nice carpeting. Their punctuality was okay. They showed up when they were supposed to and worked through the day.

We had always been happy with them. They seemed very knowledgeable and they were very helpful. They came when they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to. They took care of everything well

K+M started my kitchen remodel on 10/7/13, two and half months later it was finally completed.
Not only was the time it took excessive, the overall experience was not professional. First problem was with the sub who did the cabinet install. While he was a nice guy and did a good overall job, you never knew when he was going to show up. There were days when nothing was done after the old kitchen was torn out. Second you must realize when K+M gives you a price, the labor is only an estimate. I asked Matt, the K+M rep numerous times if the estimate was sufficient to do the job and he assured me it was. It was 3 weeks into the job when I was told by the sub that he would be billing me not K+M and that his rate was $45 per hr. While I had no problem with the rate it would have been nice to know upfront how the billing was done. Final bill was $1000 over the estimate, but we did agree on a compromise.
Any time a new portion of the job was to be done, it was always a rush to order the material. That was another reason for the delay in completing the job. When our counter-top was ordered the reveal for the sink was ordered wrong. We accepted the sink since it would take a month to get the correct one. They did knock $600 off for there mistake.
Finally the tile back splash was done by a butcher named Wayne. It was started on 11/26 and not completed until the second week of January. I am now looking for someone to fix the atrocious job he did.

Everything went real good. They were knowledgeable, but the only real problem was that it was hard to get hold of the salesman. They just had a wide enough sheet floor that we needed. We needed something real wide. The price was fair. The service they did was good.

Two years ago, they replaced the laminate floors for me and it began to lift and they sent the floor representative out and they measured and found out that the end of the boards were not cut straight and the machine does that and they only have to be off like 164 of an inch or something like that to make the floor react to that different pressure points and the floor began to come out and eventually the manufacturer said they would replace the floor at their cost so I worked with K and M, we're down and take out a different floor because I didn't wish to put the same one down and they were very prompt and they gave me a good selection, good service and they came down and put down the floor 2 weeks ago and I just want to say that was A+ also. I can't say the price was excellent because I got estimates on the floor from 2 other companies but that was like 3 years ago and it was too long ago for me to say the price was excellent, I would say it was probably average. They were responsive but one of the salesperson were not, in fact he was so rude I almost didn't order the flooring from them initially but since they're replaced him so I don't think I should punish the whole company for one. They were going to put down some carpets for me.

Everything went fine -- from when they came out to measure, to when the work was done, to when there was a problem with some countertop edging that got fixed ASAP.
