I had my entryway and hallway walls repaired and skim coated due to problematic wallpaper removal. Kevin did an excellent job. The walls look fantastic. I am very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Mr. Handyman of Northern Pittsburgh.

Terrible. First, they gave me an 8 AM appointment, then moved it to 2:30, then again to 1:30. Worse, they'd promised me their "best electrician," but sent me someone who knew nothing about electricity. So my whole day was wasted and I had to call another firm for the necessary repairs, waiting an additional 10 days.

At first it was great. Tony in the office was very polite and explained to me what they had to do and the estimated hours it would take. I was quoted 5.5 - 6 hours @ $450-$490. When the handyman arrived today, he said that this job would take 2 people 8 hours each and said the price would be $1700.00+. How can the original quote be that far off...by 3-4 times the original quote. Needless to say, I did not have them complete the job. I am so frustrated that they wasted my time.

This company was recommended to me by a friend. I left a detailed message with the general service that I needed and my name/number on August 3, 2016 @ 7:38pm. I was hoping to get a call back in the next day or so since I left an evening message. I have not heard anything back and nothing on the voicemail message indicated that they were out on vacation or anything. Not sure what happened. Sorry we could not do business

I have a small job that needs to be done. Guess this provider did not want a small job.

The company itself was very courteous on the phone and eager to satisfy the client with advice and the selection of an appointment date. The pricing and other specifics were explained in a concise, clear manner. The technician who was assigned to my job was Kevin. This is a man who knows his craft and is very, very good at it. He approached the situation at my home and was able to work with and around the houses architecture to achieve the desired results. On time, pleasant personality, professional and dedicated to his profession. They installed three bathroom exhaust fans on one visit and then returned to extend the frame on my front door to accommodate a storm door. If there is anything that you need to have done at your home, do not hesitate to call Mr Handyman and request Kevin!

There were on time but I was never told beforehand that the visit and the quote was $140.00

It only took about 45 minutes. They did a good job and gave me a discount. They were so polite and nice.

I use Mr. Handyman very frequently. They are very professional and are usually able to get me on schedule as needed. However, due to my needs, I had family coming in from out of town, and their busy schedule, they were unable to get me on schedule as I needed. I will continue to use them in the future.

Was scheduled for a small siding repair at 11:00 am. I called the office at noon when nobody was there. I did get a call back saying the technician was late and would be there at 1:30 pm. Nobody showed at 1:30. I called the office at 2:15 pm, was told the scheduler was on the phone and would call me back. I called back at 3:15 pm and got voice mail and left a message about the status. No call back again. Finally after 4 pm I received a call from the the technician saying he wouldn't make it (I had already given up on him showing) and I would have to reschedule with the office. When I said that I had left two messages with the office with no response, he said he would tell them the next day to call me. Never got a call back. Has put me in a big jam as I scheduled this at least 10 days ahead of time. Very unprofessional.

Very well. Kevin showed up exactly on time and after showing him what needed done, he started work immediately. After the work was completed he cleaned up and left me with very little clean up.

The installers were punctual, very professional and did a masterful job in removing the old vinyl shutters and installing custom shutters. The work was a bit involved because the installer had to assess the window frame, drill the strap hinges on the shutters and install the rather heavy shutters on pintels using masonry screws. The work was excellently performed and the guys could not have been nicer.

I thought they were very good and very fair. I would use them again. One of the employees did not call back as promised. When I told the manager he took it very seriously and fixed the issue right away.

I thought their prices were a bit high - $142 just to come out for the first hour, plus parts. He just gave me a general quote instead of really listening to my issue.

I will be calling them for other projects!

This company charges by the hour initially, then by the quarter hour thereafter. I felt it was expensive, but Justin did an excellent job installing the window boxes. They really look nice and he had to drill through brick to complete the job. Maybe that's the cost of getting a job done right. If I have small jobs (I.e., jobs that take a short amount of time to complete) I will definitely use this company again. For more time consuming jobs, I might not be able to afford them. But absolutely no complaints about the job they performed for me this time.

Quick response and scheduling of work. Drywall finish was excellent and ready to prime and paint. Everything was left clean when work was completed. I would definitely call them again for future work.

They have provided us excellent service for the last three years. They come exactly on time and they answer the phone right away. The price is reasonable for the job and we recommend them for anyone looking for handyman service.

I needed service by the end of the week and was calling on Tuesday, hoping that they could help me. Person answering the phone said that they had an opening on Wednesday afternoon and could fit me in. Excellent news. Wednesday afternoon after 3:00, the service man called and said he was unable to make it that day, that something had come up, but he was able to come on Thursday between 1:00 and 2:00. When 2:30 rolled around and no one showed, I called and left a message asking when he might be arriving. No answer. I called again at 3:30 left another message asking if and when someone might be arriving. No answer. No returned call, nothing. If they were unable to make it fine. I wouldn't have been happy, but at least I would know and could have at least tried to find someone else. Not showing and not returning my calls is unacceptable to me. Original score was an F. ***Updated***** Mr Handyman called me and apologized for their error. I rescheduled and they waived the fee for their error. B.i-fold doors were installed satisfactorily. I increased their rating to a D, as the initial experience was poor, but they did try to remedy. I may or may not use again in the future.

They come home when I was not there and did the work and mailed me the bills. So that was convenient. They are very professional and responsive. Their work was also great.

Showed up promptly, used shoe covers when entering the house which I appreciated. Work was well done in a timely manner. I will use this service for my future home repair needs.

Dick and his helper arrived on time and ready to work. I had a time restriction and was anxious about them completing the job in time for my appointment. They completed the job in time for me to still make my appt and did a great job!! I've used them before and I will call on them again. I've already referred them to a friend who recently used them and was very pleased!!
