Came on time- spent 10 minutes to look at unit. Spent 1 minute to change battery on my remote and charged me $150 for the batteries?

Joe's communication was outstanding. He kept me posted as to his schedule and advised me when he was a half hour away, which you don't always find. He quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly! He also cleaned the glass to the fireplace and left the work area in pristine condition! I would recommend Joe for your gas fireplace needs.

Joe said that he would arrive at 8:30AM. He did not and he did not call. I called him to see where he was. He arrived at 5:00PM. I had explained to him what I had done to test out my fireplace propane set. I explained that the pilot would not stay lit. He barely can bend down to do the work that he professes to do professionally. All he did was do the same thing that I had done, then he declared that we needed to buy a new log set. And oh, by the way he sells them. He suggested we go to stores that have them on display, then tell him the make and model so he could match their price. That is not happening. He tried to get into an argument with my husband over the monetary system in our country. And he had the nerve to charge $85. We paid him to get rid of him.

He was extremely rude! Made jokes that were really inappropriate. He made comments about my religion and stuff like that and on top that he charged $85 for doing nothing. The only reason I paid him because my family was home and I didn't want to get into arguments with him. Very very bad experience. I will not recommend him to anybody and I will even say that be careful with him in the house if you chose to hire him.

Joe was the first repair person to call me back, after I had left messages for several. We set an appointment only 1 week out, while the others had a wait of several weeks. Joe came out the Friday after Thanksgiving. He cleaned the fireplace unit, fully repaired it, and it works like new now. The price he charged was a fair price. This is the first time our fireplace has worked this well in years, and I am very thankful. Joe did a great job and I recommend him. Just be sure to have Windex and paper towels available for when he cleans the glass.

Repair: gas fireplace Joe had to drive almost an hour to get to our house and he came on a Saturday. Even though he said on the phone that it wouldn't be an extra charge for weekend, I was concerned it would cost a bundle. Upon arriving, he immediately knew the make of our fireplace even though it is no longer produced. He laid on the floor, made a few observations about the unit, did something with his tools, cracked a couple jokes, and announced he was done; quick and easy (for him). It was relatively pain free for me as far as the wallet was concerned. Thanks to Joe, my worse fears of an unaffordable expense right before Christmas were allayed. Joe seems very competent and experienced. He charges more than fairly. He has an interesting and entertaining personality which, I think, most people will enjoy. If you don't enjoy his personality, get over it; he gets the job done and I don't think you will be able to do better. My wife and I were very pleased. My daughter was, along wth us, entertained. He didn't charge extra for the entertainment.

Joe was very professional, kind and friendly. He knew what he was doing. He went right to work and fixed the problem. We would hire Joe again if we needed him.

Work was performed quite to our satisfaction. He arrived just a tad late but with Friday evening rush hour that was understandable. He quickly went to work on our fireplace and completed the repair professionally. We would recommend him for this type repair.
