EXCELLENT! Silvio arrived on time and was very professional and personable. I actually had 4-5 additional pictures/mirrors to be hung than originally planned, but Silvio hung them without a fuss and refused to accept more money than we agreed upon. I will be needing a handyman for additional work in my house in a few months, and I will only use Silvio for my work. It was a pleasure to do business with him. If you are in need of a handyman, Silvio should be your first call!

Great! Silvio responded to my initial email quickly and came out the next day to look at the problem and assess the cost. He started the job promptly the day and time he said he would come. During the 2 days he was doing the job he quietly and efficiently did his work and left the job site clean. Overall I am extremely pleased with Silvio's work and would highly recommend him to others.

Some of the problems were on a cathedral ceiling in our family room; Mr. Cifa repaired the large majority of them but some were higher than he was comfortable going; to his complete credit he had told us this when he visited to prepare his estimate, so we knew this in advance. There were a couple of minor cracks that Mr. Cifa did not tape over but merely filled in; we are not sure if those will stay repaired or will crack again shortly, but he did them so quickly that basically it was free to us (so we can't complain). Note that he did all of his work in one visit, which meant he could not do the final sanding. This was not a problem (it would have been much more costly for him to make a 2nd trip to do that small amount of work) but we hadn't understood that from his visit. Again, not a big deal. Overall, excellent work, fast, and very cost-effective.

He was prompt, clean, and very professional. He even helped with something I needed to finish. He finished work in 1.5 days(had to return to sand and apply finish coat on walls). I would recommend!!

I sent Mr. Cifa an e-mail asking if he would be interested in a plumbing job. He returned my e-mail the following day, saying that he did not do that type of work. At least he was honest and returned my e-mail.

I needed to find someone who would spackle/putty a drywall patch which I replaced due to a leak. Silvio responded w/in 24 hours and was able to come by for a quote. He explained his availability, showed up when scheduled, and did the job as quoted and scoped. I'm also pleased that he provided follow up documentation with a quote, invoice, business card, etc.

He was very prompt! The day I phoned him, he came right out to give me an estimate on the job, and 5 days later, he did the work. He was very kind and neat.

It took a few week for Silvio to get started. However, the work was done in a good manner and at a good price. I would hire him again.

Very good - came as scheduled. Did the work the first time, stuck to the estimate, did the job most efficiently, Had the proper tools and experience. This is the second time I called Silvio and I plan to call him again when needed.

Silvio was excellent. He returned my original phone call within 8 hrs to set up an appointment to provide an estimate for the work we needed done. Within a few days, we received his estimate, we called to accept, and within days, he called to set up time to do the work. We had rough 2x4's visible from a prior installation of replacement skylights. Silvio came up with a creative way to cover the 2x4's, which look great. The only drawback to Silvio's services is that he does not do work on high ladders. We needed to seek another company for that type of work. We really enjoyed working with Silvio and would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking handyman services.

This man is a find: responsible, capable, forthright and a first-rate repairman. Both the quality of his work and his professionalism far outshone all other prospects we approached. He was honest about work he did not want to tackle, and he used his creativity in completing other projects. His fee was fair and competitive, and he returned promptly a second day to complete the work. We will certainly use him again and again for any future projects.

I hired Silvio after reading a review on Angie's list. He is a very prompt , professional and polite man. Also very reasonably priced. He had the job done in about five hours. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with his work!

Silvio scheduled effectively, showed up on time, did all the agreed upon work the first visit and stuck by his estimate. He called to confirm satisfaction and was thorough and courteous.

Silvio has a great attitude and is creative in coming up with solutions to solve problems. He's a pleasure to work with. He provided estimates quickly that were detailed in writing and showed up on time to do the work. He returned all calls promptly. He also sourced most of the supplies needed. We did have a problem with the installed double doors either being the wrong size (one time) or warped (twice) which he fixed/replaced with no attitude, but it took a bit longer to get the job finally done than it should have. Also, I would have liked the patching and finishing work to be more paint ready; I needed to follow-up with several more attempts at spackling and sanding of the areas patched/trimmed to get the blended/smooth finish required before I primed and painted.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, AGAIN. SILVIO PICKED UP A STORM DOOR I ORDERED AT HOME DEPOT (SAVING ME $50 IN DELIVERY CHARGES) THE MORNING WE CHOSE AND ARRIVED AT THE EXACT TIME HE SAID HE WOULD. ON A COLD DAY, HE WORKED QUICKLY AND WITHOUT COMPLAINT TO INSTALL THE NEW DOOR. HE ALWAYS COMES COMPLETELY EQUIPPED TO DO THE JOB. HE INSTALLED THIS DOOR, FITTING THE WEATHER STRIPPING AND ADJUSTING THE CLOSER WITHIN 40 MINUTES. HE IS SO FASTIDIOUS, CLEANING UP THE AREA AND PUTTING THE OLD DOOR OUT FRONT FOR ME. HE ALSO CHEERFULLY LOOKED AT SOME OTHER JOBS I HAVE IN MIND AND QUICKLY MEASURED THEM. IT IS A PLEASURE TO HIRE MR. CIFA AND HE COULD TEACH OTHER HOME REPAIR PEOPLE HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS AND GET THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. HIS PRICE WAS ALSO $25 LESS THAN THE HOME STORE!

SILVIO MEETS A HIGH STANDARD IN THIS CATEGORY. HE RETURNS CALLS RIGHT AWAY AND FOLLOWS UP WITH AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE. HIS APPROACH IS PROFESSIONAL, PLEASANT AND INTELLIGENT. HE CAME TO ESTIMATE THE SAME DAY I CALLED, ALTHOUGH THIS IS PROBABLY UNUSUAL. HE EFFICIENTLY EVALUATED THE VARIOUS PROJECTS AND MEASURED AND SENT AN ESTIMATE WITHIN DAYS. THE ESTIMATE WAS IN A CLEAN, EASY TO READ FORMAT AND INCLUDED ALL THE DETAILS DISCUSSED. HE PHONED TO DISCUSS THE ESTIMATE AFTER A WEEK. HIS WORK: HE IS EXTREMELY FAST AND DILIGENT, COMES EQUIPPED WITH ALL TOOLS AND MATERIALS (NO RUNNING OUT TO GET FORGOTTEN ITEMS)-- WORKED CONTINUOUSLY ALL DAY WITH ONE SHORT LUNCH BREAK AND DOESN'T WASTE TIME WITH SMALL TALK. HIS ENERGY IS AMAZING, AND HE DID AN EXCELLENT AND THOROUGH JOB OF REPLACING THE DOORS WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE TO EXISTING FRAMING. HE IS VERY AMENABLE TO WORKING WITH YOUR IDEA OF THE PROJECT AND SUGGESTS SOLUTIONS INSTEAD OF HEAD-SCRATCHING.
