+ 0 more.We had a great experience with Green Pest Solutions. The first visit didn't go smoothly, so when GPS found out about that, they made it right, came out the next day, set new traps and bait boxes for the mouse problem we have in our apartment (it's really a building problem). They helped to eliminate all points of entry, limited all potential food sources for the mice down to their traps and bait, and will follow up with us in about 4 weeks. Green Pest uses the elimination method in addition to the best traps, they use bait boxes and glue boxes/paper but they will only use the types of traps and bait that you are comfortable having in your home. We have a dog and dog sit for another dog regularly so we often have two small dogs in the apartment, and the technician was very sensitive to that and put traps and bait in places where the dogs can't get to it. We caught some mice in their traps already and the bait boxes from the first visit were empty, so a bunch more must have been poisoned. They also include insects and other pests in their service agreement, so when we have ants in the spring and summer, we'll be calling them back for help with that! All in all, we would recommend Green Pest Solutions because they work with you to suit your needs and fix your problems!

He was on time and professional and appears to have done a good job. The ants did come back but he stated he was going to make a second visit and spray at no charge to me. I would recommend him to others.

+ -1 moreWe saw two large American cockroaches (water bugs) over a two-day period and freaked out a little, as we had never seen one in our previous 12 years of living here. The occurrence coincided with an Angie's List offer for Green Pest Solutions, so we made and appointment. The company representative arrived on time, was very professional and seemed thorough. He thought that the cockroaches were an anomaly (there was some street work being done a few blocks away), and didn't find any evidence of other insect issues. He did the perimeter spray around the house as a preventive. He provided us with information about their service contracts, but didn't pressure us in any way.

I know their price is relatively high but I feel that if I have a problem that I can go back to them. That's why I picked them even though their price was higher. The salesperson actually came back a second time just to go over details before I committed to the work. They scheduled the treatment the next day after I signed the contract so they were a pretty efficient company.

Description of Work: The initial visit was 8/12/14 rep treated inside & outside of home, put down gel in creases of cabinets & back door, glue traps for bugs, snap trap for mice, sprayed bathroom, & basement, return fol-up visit was 8/28/14 was originally 26th but I didn't receive prep letter when I cld on 25th to verify they were still coming and informed rep I didn't get prep letter as rep told me on initial visit so it was emailed out to me with apologies and said if I needed to push it out a couple of days I could bcuz it was a lengthy prep that had to be done, but rep came on 28th checked with me about 1st visit & asked did things slow down & I said YES, so glad and let him know continued concerns and the he said he got this and went on with what he had to do removed & replaced a caught mouse in a snap trap in basement, reapplied gel, more glue traps, re-sprayed basement & bathroom, he was very thorough and attentive to needs & concern of my home & family, no poison since I have grands around home ages 1, 5,7,& 10, and I am deathly afraid of mice... Lol, was a great experience, considering the circumstance & my neighbor setting off a roach bomb in July not letting either neighbor on either side know but we knew something happened bcuz we got more roach activity than usual... Thank You very much, next time out I was told will be in November I guess I will get called to set up appointment time... That is when next payment is due after 1st payment @ 1st visit... Enjoy ur day & week... :)

He put 4 or so mousetraps in the basement, sprayed around the front and back entryways of the house as well as the sliding door in the kitchen, and left these little clear plastic "bed bug detectors." I found a cockroach legs up outside in the front of the house and like to think it was destroyed by my barrier.

He arrived at the earlier time, which was more convenient for both of us. he proceeded as explained and left when finished. It started to rain very hard about 2 minutes after he left, so I sent an email to see if there was something that was needed to be done in this situation. My call was promptly returned anr a repeat spraying is in the works.

Their workers were really cordial and easy to work with. It is a little pricey, but their service is very good. I did not mind paying the price, but they are probably a little more than some companies out there. The only reason I would not use them would just be the price point, but their service was worth it.

+ -1 moreEvery person I spoke to was friendly, courteous and provided good information. A specialist explained the course for ridding ants form our home and deterring their return. The apportionment was scheduled for the day after I called. The technician called in the morning to see if that time was still good an offered me an earlier time if it suited my schedule to which agreed. He arrived promptly, introduced himself and was very professional. When he entered our house he wore booties to protect our floors. He examined the situation and through questioning determined the best course of action. He said it would take 7 - 10 days for he ants to disappear and they seemed to be done in just about 2 days. They do encourage you to take a full year of service. The initial service was $185 and then they come 3 more time a year for $109 each. They spray for ants, spiders and some other tings I can't recall around the perimeter of the house.
