Elias Construction

He works well with his customers. He has great ideas, and he's meticulous. He's very reliable, always on time. He's very creative.

In November of 2012, we began work on an unfinished room over our garage which would be primarily used as a sewing /studio room. The room was framed in with a subfloor, one electrical outlet, light and a window. Mr. Elias Zouras and his men added three skylights and finished out the room adding electrical outlets, additional lighting and a separate HVAC unit for the space. Along the way Elias made many helpful recommendations. Elias also completed other small carpentry jobs around our home, including building shelving in our large pantry. This project was completed with the same thoroughness as the studio room. We were especially impressed by his attention to detail, concerns about disruptions to our household activities, and his respectful manner in relating to us and his employees. Elias was extremely punctual and kept us informed through-out the entire project. Elias also worked very well with the Township from getting the building permit to being present for the inspections. 'We would not hesitate to give Elias a call for our next home improvement project.

I had my basement finished by Elias Zouras Custom Builders Inc. and was amazed by the quality of the work and the professionalism of the builder. Elias' prices were very fair and I found him easy to talk to concerning my ideas regardinglayout and function of the basement. Elias took my ideas and found cost saving ways to make them work within my budget. Eliasand his workers were honest, neat and clean and I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I have no hesitation in recommending Elias and using him again for my next big project which will be a large deck for the backyard.

Elias Zouras did not fulfill the contract. Unbeknownst to me and my wife even after repeated contact with him he did not complete a critical portion of the project which caused damage to my home. The last phone call I had with him was after 2 floods in my home. He offered to complete the work he contracted with us to do. I have since had this work completed by another contractor at my expense. I am working with his insurance company to gain compensation for my property losses. Since this is not a finished process and the distinct possibility of legal action exists I cannot comment further at this time. Once this process is complete I would be more than happy to discuss this situation in full with anyone who is considering Elias Zouras for work in their home to spare them the experience that my family and I have and are enduring.

It took them about approximately 2 weeks to complete. The railings were white vinyl and the deck was a new material TemberTech composite.

Always on time, reasonably priced, excellent carpentership, work clean and very personable.
