I needed extra lighting in my living room and saw a "Big Deal" on Angie's list for ~1/2 off installation of 4 recessed lights. I bought two deals- one for me, and one for my parents who also had been wanting recessed lights in their family room. When I called, I explained I had purchased the deal on Angie's List and they put me on the schedule for the next week. Two workers came (actually a few minutes early!)-the owner and an assistant. The installation took a few hours, and they cleaned up everything. They also patched a hole in my ceiling where I had taken out a fan but never got around to patching the hole. I'm very happy with the way my room looks now and I LOVE the dimmer switch. It really changes the way the room feels. The energy audit turned up that I need a GFCI outlet installed at one location, but there was no pressure for me to have them do it- they just left me a business card and said goodbye.

It always pays to have a master electrician do your electrical work. Kircher's did an electrical audit and answered all of our questions. It's reassuring to know everything is in proper order and up to code.

Jeff provided a detailed and itemized issue list for us to consider as well as an estimate that was easy to understand. Then did the work the way he said he would and on time without any issues or problems. Very knowledgeable and really seems to care about making sure things are done the correct way.

The work was excellent and the professionalism was fantastic. They were on time, respectful of my home and family. It couldn't have been better.

Called , Set up time for estimate, came on time, gave 2 prices depending on how bad my wiring was, both prices were fair. He cancelled first week because of vehicle issues, gave plenty of notice. Came the following week , did great job at the lower estimate, I would highly recommed Kircher electric.

Every since I moved to the house 7 years ago I haven´t done any electric work that needed to be done, though nothing major, it still was several jobs. Jeff called back the same evening I emailed Kircher and came home within 48 hrs. to assess what needed to be fixed and gave me a reasonable estimate. Though I had called two more companies, neither one called me back so I decided to go with Kircher as I thought the price was reasonable based on similar jobs I found in Angie´s list.Work was done by Jeff and another two electricians. On that day he called to let me know he would be arriving fifteen minutes later, which I thought was very professional. He explained to me everything that I needed to know and the work was done very well in about four hours. Having a ceiling fan that works in this torrid weather is a blessing, I even hooked my big fan to the new outdoor outlet in the patio to fight back the heat.If I ever need an electrician again, I will call Kircher.

My first encounter with Jeff of Kircher Electric was when he solved a smoke alarm problem. He advised that the alarms on all three levels, while hard-wired electrically, they were not linked together to all go off when one was triggered. Jeff gave me an estimate ($500) for linking the alarms, installing a 15 amp circuit and labeling the electrical panel. I was contemplating some additional fixes in the basement and would call when ready to proceed. By March 2012, the basement's suspended ceiling had been removed exposing a tangle of wires and fluorescent light housings in need of replacement. A similar wire situation was present in the attic. I schedule Jeff to start work on the previously estimated work but also mentioned my concern about the wiring mess in the basement and attic, my desire for pot lights vs. fluorescent, as well as the electrical panel in general. Jeff provide a new estimate which added these items and we scheduled time in early April to get started. In late March, our HW Heater failed and flooded the finished basement that forced demo of the space. It also uncovered an ongoing mold problem and made possible the correction of a previous owner's DIY construction/electrical/finishing mistakes. With the walls exposed, Jeff was able to reposition all the existing electrical outlets and switches, some of which were not working, removed all unnecessary wiring, many of which were non-code tie-ins, install a new expanded electrical panel and additional pot lights (9). The basement redo is proceeding, with the electrical work completed. While I may have spent more than I originally expected, circumstances gave me a more efficient, organized space to my specifications and overall, I am very happy with the outcome. Jeff and his crew helped make that happen. Jeff personally supervised the work, worked within my schedule, arriving on time, and used the same personnel throughout the job who worked efficiently. I would call Jeff Kircher again

I found him on Angie's List and I'm not thrilled by him. I guess he knows what he's doing but I felt abused and used by him. I had called him up because I had my basement fixed up, I had the electricians come in and work it over. I put lights in the ceiling and they were going out because the township requires spark fault protectors. A regular fuse costs about $5 but the protectors cost about $60, I had 10 so it was $600. My ceiling lights were popping all the time. Kircher came over and said that anytime the lights flicker is sets off another issue. Basically my basement was useless because my lights kept going out. I needed to have the lights fixed quickly, within the next 2-3 days. At first he said no, then he called me the next day and said it was raining and he could come over. He and another person came over and he said the protectors were causing the lights to go out. He said he would switch them out with the old ones. I said fine and then I would just put them back in when it was time for the inspection. His assistant went down and installed 2 of the old circuit breaker. He handed me a bill for $188 for 15 minutes of work that his assistant did. I didn't harp, he knew I needed it done and I didn't ask in advance what the price was and that was my fault. I thought $90 would be a lot, $188 was outrageous. What really ticked me off when I went back down to the basement to find the protectors they were missing, so I called Jeff up and asked him where he put them - playing dumb. He said he'd check and call me back, he called back and said they were in his truck and he would mail them to me. I called back and he said he had set them aside and he said he would drive them over, which he should have done the very first day. I was furious, he played me like a fool and took $120 of electrical equipment that he could charge more for from the next guy. So from his standpoint that would be $180 ontop of what he gauged me. I'm not happy with him. He did ultimately do the right thing, but in my opinion he took advantage of me. He did do me a favor by showing up at all. I called 5 other people that could get there. He had an appointment cancel so that's how he was available. His timing was correct and he did the job we agreeded to.

Jeff was very nice and made me feel comfortable from the time he came for the estimate from the time he finished the install. Work was done quickly with no interuption from him. I will use Kircher again!

After Kircher performed the services at my home the electrical system now works well and there are no electrical problems. This company is very easy to work with and reliable. He always showed up when he said he would . One of my favorite things about working with this company was their estimate and billing, it was really great. They divided out everything for me so that I could see exactly what was charged for each service they performed. Everything was broken down to make it very easy to understand.

I needed to replace the light fixture on my front walk lamppost and called Kircher. Jeff called back quickly, scheduled a convenient time to give me an estimate which was very reasonable, and then scheduled a date for the work to be done. It was outside work, so he did the job while I was not at home, but called me to let me know it was completed. When I came home, the job was done right. I have no complaints and recommend Kircher Electric highly.

The first part of the experience was very professional and positive. Mr. Kircher returned calls and came for estimate promptly. I decided to go with his service because he had been recommended to me - even though his price was higher than the other 2 estimates. I was not home when the work was done and when I returned, I saw that the lights had not been installed over the sinks as I had requested but instead were in the center of the room. This meant that anyone looking in the mirror for makeup or shaving was in complete shadow as the light is behind you. When I called that evening, I did not blame him or insist that the work be done over as I had originally requested. Instead I asked that Mr. Kircher come back and make the light connection above the mirrors hot again (I had paid for it to be made non-functional). I was willing to pay for this, aside from now having the added cost of buying a new light fixture for the wall. I spoke to Mr. Kircher that night and requested that he call me back with a quote but I have never heard from him. He was willing to come our for the big job but not for the nuisance job. At best, I was hoping that he would offer to make the electrical box hot for free due to his misunderstanding of the placement but I never expected that he wouldn't deal with this at all.

Very high quality work done promptly and efficiently. Very easy to work with. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

We used one of the Big Deal coupons. He came out when he said he would and did all the work. My wife was here when he came. She had called and made an appointment. He came out as soon as he could. He was polite and courteous. He provided us a very detailed listing of things that were either okay or that he had observed or that he felt needed to be repaired or upgraded. It went okay. His price was good.

We are satisfied with everything they did and would do it again. We will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

I can't even begin to say how PLEASED we were with the job done by Jeff. Jeff said he would be here at 9am - and he was... Jeff was so professional in personality, appearance,etc. The job took them 1/2 the day, and I swear, if I weren't home to see them do the work you would never know they were here (except for the new fans in the ceiling). They covered all furniture with large drop cloths, and then cleaned up and vacuumed when they were finished. The price was a little more, because we had the switch put in, where you can control the speed of the fan right from the wall and not have to stretch to pull the chain. We definitely will have Jeff back to install an attic fan at some point and any other electrical work..... If you could give this company an A+, I would give it... Great job....

We originally called Kircher because we had lost all power in one of our home offices. Although no switches had been tripped in the breaker box, our technician, Jeff, was able to restore the power simply by toggling the appropriate switch. He did not charge us for this, which we greatly appreciated. We then asked for, and promptly received, a cost quote to provide additional electric power to that office and one other. Jeff also pointed out to us that our main exterior line was deteriorating and had come loose from the house, so we added that to the work order. All of the work was completed in 2 days, as scheduled, for the quoted price. Jeff and his partner were prompt, courteous, and cleaned up all work areas upon completion. They were a pleasure to work with and we intend to do so again.
