The installation went extremely well and the price was very reasonable. However, we had a difficult time receiving communications with the vendor during the decision and scheduling phases of the project. For one thing, we committed to have the work done if it could be completed before Easter if we made a buying decision prior to the end of March (which we did). Not only was the job not done prior to Easter but also we were not kept apprised of the status and we needed to call the vendor a number of times to find out installation information. If you use this vendor, be prepared to stay in constant contact. It's worth it, however, because the job was done beautifully.

We had used Carpets by Martin to replace all of the carpet when we purchased the house in 2003. In 2010 we decided to update the master bathroom and went back to Carpets by Martin because they did such a great job on the carpet installation. We were shopping for tile or vinyl to replace the existing vinyl flooring. We were shown several different products and based on their recommendation went with a new limestone and resin composite tile. The purchase price included the materials and installation. Being a bit of a DIY guy, I prepared the bathroom by removing everything first to give them as much room and a clean slate to work with. The guys installed the new floor in just under 6 hours giving time for the quick dry bonding agent to set before grouting. They guys were also kind enough to explain the features of the new tiles and why they loved it as well as give me a complete lesson in case I wanted to tackle the guest bathroom myself. The installation was completed perfectly and we haven't had any issues to this day. I love the product and really appreciated the professionalism of the guys. Everything was cleaned up and handled professionally. They even went the extra mile for the transition trim. Before they came out, they looked up our sales record and selected a transition trim piece to match our carpet, however, I wanted it to match the fixtures and hardware which were all in brushed nickel, so they had another guy drop off a new transition trim piece matching my hardware instead. I couldn't be more satisfied.
