Horribly!
Description of Work: Bottom line - never use this company and tell anyone you care about to do the same!!!!Aspen fence was the lower of two bidders, and we got what we paid for. The work was poorly done and the workers were unprofessional. The workers did not bring the original plans with them and, when they encountered a pole that we offered to dig out, they avoided it by not fencing in more than a foot of our lawn. Not only did it look ridiculous, it cut out a good portion of our already small lawn. Jim offered to compensate us by refunding $100 - but only after he blamed my husband for not catching the mistake during installation (he had specifically said we did not need to be present during installation because he would be following the plans). He was rude and did not take responsibility for their error, but he repeatedly requested the remainder of the payment. He eventually agreed to repair the fence when I refused to pay and pointed out that he had failed to meet the contract, but when they did the repairs they did so poorly. They pieced together leftover pieces and we were left with large gaps in what was supposed to be a solid fence. Two days later, the gate stopped working, and he never returned as promised to fix it.

I called a big-box store to get a fencing contract. His name was Jim from Aspen Fence. First, Jim told me that I wasn?t going to get a post that would match what I currently have, but he would not give me an explanation as to why. My contract said that the fence would be finished by the end of July. Jim called me in mid-July and said that he would not be finishing the fence until the 15th of August. When I protested, he did not apologize and just said that was the best he could do. When I called the big-box store, they told me he had gone on an unannounced vacation. I told him I would not have him complete the work.
Description of Work: I was trying to have a fence built for an Irish Wolfhound. Aspen Fence was subcontracted from a big-box store to build the fence.
