The Bee Hunter

Service was outstanding! He originally came out and attempted to chemically treat the nest from the outside. But since I had attempted to seal the hole, the chemical treatment was not successful. So he came back out, at no additional charge. This time he had to remove a small section of the interior ceiling to gain access to the hive. By doing so, he was able to directly access the Yellow Jacket hive and remove it. He was careful to make a very clean cut of the ceiling, thus making the repair afterwards much easier, and cleaner. He cleaned up afterwards, and once again offered to come back at no additional charge should there be any remaining issues. The issue has been completely resolved to our 100% satisfaction. I would highly recommend his service for any bee-related issues.

Our conversation started with a late night email on a Tuesday and the services were performed by Thursday. He was on time, prompt, professional and courteous. I showed him the cause for my concern and he got right to work. He removed the nest and laid down future preventative measures while I remained within the safety of my house. Once he was finished, he came to the door. We sat down and discussed the work. He advised that I wait 24 hours before approaching the area and discussed the warranty. I wrote him a check and he was on his way. I've not seen any trace of the yellow jackets since and I've watered my lawn twice now without being stung.

We were in the process of getting our trim painted. Where the painters got stung multiple times by what they described as "yellow jackets" near the gutters. They admitted they had been stung the previous day and just sprayed them with yellow jacket spray, but that didn't seem to be working. When my husband went to investigate the attic about a dozen of them started swarming the light. He quickly went back down and we called Jim. Jim said he would be out the next day and would give me a call before hand. After he arrived, he inspected the gutter, the attic, the windows and could find no obvious sign of a nest. He said this wasn't unusual and it was probably under the insulation. But, there was also no obvious sign of stinging insects! What he surmised happened was the spray the painters had used was either brought back to the nest killing the nest, or killed the adults and we wouldn't see any activity (and have no way to kill the nest) until the young hatched. He was gracious not to charge us for the inspection and if those young do hatch... we'll certainly call him back.

I called Jim on a Friday night (while holding an ice bag to the collection of wasp stings on my arm), and he told me he would come out the next day to take a look. He gave me a rough ETA and then a firmer time when he was on his way (perfect! I love that.). He was very pleasant and professional and clearly had a lot of experience. He found the two nests in my yard, explained what he was going to do, and then got right to work. I'm happy to say that I can now mow my lawn without a trip to Urgent Care. I highly recommend him.

I called another bee man three days ago and left a message. Jim Abraham returned my call in less than 5 minutes. He had just been in my area and said he would be returning on Thursday (today). I told him that would be fine and he said he would give me a price after seeing what needed to be done and that he would call before arriving. As promised, he called today to tell me he was on his way from a nearby community. He arrived about 25 minutes later, analyzed the situation, told me what he would do, and gave me a price. I accepted, he dressed in protective gear, climbed the ladder and removed the nest. He said he would give the hornets time to settle down and that he would spray so that they didn't return. He did so and advised me that if they returned he would return to correct the problem free of charge. Jim was very cordial. I paid the bill and he departed.

Jim was very professional in both his appearance and the work he performed not wasting any time and getting the job done right the first time!! I would recommend him to anyone and I will use him again in the future!!

I discovered a nest of yellow jackets in my yard the hard way. After researching a number of DIY ways to get rid of the nest, I decided to avoid the risk of getting stung again and called Jim Abraham, The Bee Hunter. I called on Monday morning. He made it to the house on Wednesday afternoon. While there were a few delays in his arrival due to bad weather and a lot of bees he needed to take care of elsewhere, he called me several times and kept me informed of what he was up to and didn't leave me wondering. He called to confirm that he was on his way before he arrived. Looked at the nest area, told me what he was going to do, what the expected results were and how much it would cost. I gave him the thumbs up and he got to work killing the insects and also removing the nest itself. He was very personable and professional. He gave me his guarantee in writing and encouraged me to call back if I had questions or problems. I have no idea how his prices compare to other exterminators but I'd absolutely hire him again.

On Saturday, July 19, 2014 I was chased by hornets when I was trimming bushes in our flower bed in front of our home. That evening my wife and I took a flashlight and wasp spray out to investigate. We had a basketball size hornets nest in the holly bush. We decided to call in a professional and on Sunday July 20th contacted The Bee Hunter using Angie's List. Jim called us back that day and after providing him an exact location for the nest he quoted us a price and advised that he would be there on Monday July 21st . The fact that we were both working did not matter, when I returned home I could see that the nest was cut out of the holly bush. We were very pleased with the service and would hire this professional again.

Jim was very responsive, returning my request with 10 minutes. We set up a time for him to come out and look at our problem. He was very prompt and professional. He looked at our damage and determined that we had a significant problem. I told him we are looking to get the house painted early next spring. He recommended that we should replace the soffits and fascia with Hardie board to eliminate future problems. He said that there was no reason for him to treat it now as we are getting to the end of the damaging season and if we are planning to have the work done in the spring that there was no reason for him to charge us money now. I appreciate this as some contractors would go ahead and needlessly charge us to preform the work which would be replaced in six months. We are going to look into replacing with the Hardie board, but if it proves too costly, I would not hesitate to call Jim out to treat our replacement boards.

At around noon today Saturday I noticed a hive hanging from our Gutter I thought it was wasps I looked on Angie's list and called the bee hunter left the message my call was returned with in an hour . He asked if see if this can wait until tomorrow and I said that it could within an hour he called me back and said that he would be there today before 3 o'clock by 330 to hive was removed. He suited up in his. Protective suit put something on the hive removed it scraped clean the area where the hive was and then apply something so the hornets would not rebuild in that area.

He did a great job and I liked him a lot. No more bees! The spray he used was very effective and the price was reasonable. He actually came out in the evening and was right on time. I've used him since then and I would recommend him!

They're very good! The results are great and I would use them again. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others. He was right on time and easy to schedule. I've very satisfied!

It went really well! I think it was a little pricey, though. He climbed up on a ladder to spray for one nest and he dug around some shrubs for the other one. It took him about 1.5 hours. Scheduling was very straightforward and he came out right away. Highly recommended!

I had an outbreak of underground bees that swarmed the guys who trim my lawn. The Bee Hunters came out and completely solved the problem! We haven't had any bees since. Whatever it was that he hooked up worked perfectly. He's very organized, professional, and he's the first person I'd call if they ever came back. I priced around and he's actually on the lower end! He's very personable and easy to deal with.

They did a great job! The chemical treatment they provided was very effective. It seemed a little pricey, but they were very prompt, knowledgeable, and it worked great. The work took less than 10 minutes, and then he stayed around for about an hour to monitor.

I couldn't be happier with the service from The Bee Hunter. I just walked into our mudroom today and heard a creepy crinkly sound coming from the wall, so I went outside and saw a hole with a lot of yellow jackets going in and out. I have two small kids so it scared me a bit and I wanted to take care of it right away. So I jumped on Angies List and looked up bees. The Bee Hunter had a lot of good reviews so I called and left a message. Jim called me back within five minutes. He seemed to be busy, but as soon as I told him that I had two small kids going in and out of that door, he decided to come right over and take care of the problem quickly. He was here within 15 minutes and showed me everything and explained my options. He was very professional and said he could have it taken care of in 30 minutes. He also gave me an Angies List discount. This entire process took place within the last two hours today. I am so grateful to the Bee Hunter. If this hadn't gotten taken care of today, I'm sure it would keep me up tonight, so now I can rest easy!

He has done work with us for years! He does great work. If we see anything after the treatment, he will come back and take care it for no additional charge under the yearly protection plan. His prices are fair and the quality of work is fantastic! He is responsible, diligent, and cleans up after himself well. He will cover and protect our possessions wherever he is working. He is a very good with communication. He has quick follow through and is a true a pleasure to work with. A fantastic, personable guy all around.

They were fine. They solved the problem. They were able to come out within a day of contacting them. They had an extremely elaborate outfit to protect the worker from getting stung.

It was fine! They came out a couple of weeks after we called because they had to wait for a particular weather circumstance. There was no delay. They sent out one individual for the job.

I was impressed with Mr. Abraham's website before we met and by his professional and courteous manner when he arrived. He is articulate and appears to understand the nature of the insects with which he is dealing and the issue of infestation in the home. He was thorough, checking inside the house to determine whether the insects had made a nest indoors or not. He came within a few hours of my original call, which I had not expected but with which I delighted (especially in light of signs of increasing activity on the parts of the yellowjackets.
