 + 0 moreI'd rate the dry cleaning a "B" for punctuality. This particular rating, though involves their tailoring. I brought in 6 pairs of pants to be hemmed; the gentleman who took the measurements was very quick and professional.However, although the sign in the window says "one-day hemming", it took a full week to get my pants back. No big deal for me; just wanted y'all to know.
Description of Work: I go to these dry cleaners regularly and have never had a problem, although they do take awhile because they have no plant on site.

 + -1 moreOn two separate occasions I had shirts laundered there and each time, one of the shirts that I had worn while wearing cologne came back smelling of the cologne. This makes me question how thoroughly the shirts were laundered. I get my shirts folded as I travel extensively for business; their folding is just OK -- fewer wrinkles than Lord Duncan, but still more than my former cleaners in Florida. The prices here are no bargain and the counter staff was rude once to my wife, informing her that we must tell them every time when dropping off shirts how I want them (folded, light starch) and that it can't be pre-set in their computer system. I am astounded at the seeming lack of a good, reliable (i.e., the work is done right all the time, every time) dry cleaner in Pittsburgh's East End -- there seem the be a lot of professionals in these neighborhoods who are in business dress more often than not.
Description of Work: Laundered shirts, starched, and folded; dry cleaned several suits.

 + -1 moreOne of the blazers and the pants were done well. However, one arm of the suit jacket came out looking pretty bad on the inside hem. I was pretty disappointed, since it was both an expensive suit and I ended up paying more than expected for the alteration. I am decent at hemming my own pants, and feel that I could have done just as good a job on this jacket as the person I paid $24 to do it.
Description of Work: I had a suit altered and an additional blazer altered. The tailor only thought the sleeve and pant leg lengths needed to be altered.

Description of Work: I have a soft, light colored leather coat that I bought in Italy several years ago. I have had it cleaned twice - once by a leather cleaner in another city and recently by Four Seasons Dry Cleaners here in Pittsburgh. The first time I had it cleaned, the jacket collar was still dirty looking and I was very disappointed. I never expected to see the jacket look as good as new ever again. After we moved to Pittsburgh, I needed to have the jacket cleaned again and found Four Seasons on Angie's List and decided to give them a try. I brought the jacket to the shop as it is near our home and I wanted to talk to them about the soiled collar. I was treated with courtesy and understanding and the man I spoke to couldn't guarantee that the collar would come clean but he said that they would try. When I picked up the jacket, I was amazed at how clean it was. The collar looks almost new again and the jacket looks like it did when I bought it. Yes, the price is a little high but I paid more the first time I had it cleaned. I highly recommend this cleaner and will bring all of my dry cleaning and repairs to them in the future. My husband has a suede jacket that is in need of cleaning and Four Seasons quoted me $44.00 to do it. This is again, a little less than we were quoted by another cleaner.

 + -1 moreI have 3 large tablecovers that I needed pressed. I was in a rush and I called to ask if it was possible to get same day service. The girl explained they don't offer same day services. I asked her when I could get them back and she told me a week!!!! A week to press tablecovers? I can handle that they don't offer same day service, but their turnaround time for something that is needed quickly doesn't seem like they try to accommodate customer needs. They won't be getting my business.
Description of Work: I have 3 large table covers that I needed pressed quickly and they were not able to accommodate me.

 + -1 moreFour Seasons did an incredible job on a white wool coat which was heavily stained. It looks like new again! They are very expensive but if they can save a good coat they are worth the extra high cost.

 + -1 moreI don't expect that much from cleaners but i do expect that my shirt collars are square and crisp. Mine were not and when I complained there was no offer of a re-do. Life is too short so I will try another vendor this week. Also, the prices were about 15% more than what I am used to for the same service. Lastly, parking is problematic around the store which makes the convenience factor rather low.

 + -1 moreI wouldn't call them the cheapest place to get dry cleaning done, but the quality of service is fantastic. I do not use their delivery service but just in terms of drop off and pick up, they are timely. I have never had a button missing which is huge for me. I have a lot of nice oxford shirts which are part of my collection and to never have lost a button on them means a lot for me. I would often spend $50.00 at a time, but I would often find myself taking 2 slacks, a suit, a sports coat, and about 10 shirts. They are very stiff about their hours. When their doors are locked, their doors are locked. They do have a delivery service, but I have not used it.

 + -1 moreThey did a fine job. A bit pricy but they're nice and pretty flexible. I like their environmental bags and hanger recycle policy. I DIDN'T like that the store and the delivery were not connected in any way. You can't drop at the store and have it delivered, etc. Also I signed up on line with my credit card for delivery and when I forgot my wallet when I went to the store I found out that they were not connected at all.
Description of Work: This is a standard dry cleaner. I used the store in Squirrel Hill and the delivery service.

As requested for my first order, I placed my clothing articles in a plastic bag outside my home in the morning before I left for work. When I got home the bag was gone and a notification was left that my articles had been picked up. On the next scheduled day for the driver to be in my area, my cleaned articles were delivered to my home in a green, re-usable garment bag (a eco-friendly option they offer). The quality of the dry cleaning was top notch and the delivery service option is wonderful. I already have the green bag started for my next order.

 + 1 moreI have my laundry picked up twice a week. I place it on the porch in a green reusable bag and the clean laundry comes back in that bag saving on all of that plastic. They also give me a hanger caddy to return old hangars. I love the green philosophy. The laundry is always done to my satisfaction. When I have had to get something done on the off days, I've used their store service with similarly good results. And the guy who does their alterations is reasonable and fast. A great experience all around!
Description of Work: I use Four Seasons Dry Cleaning green pickup service twice a week for shirts and cry cleaning and have also used their storefront cleaning and alteration in the past.

 + -1 moreThey were not able to answer some of my questions and the lady at the front did not seem to be very knowledgeable, but the quality of their work is good. They are a little expensive and they do not have a tailor to fix pants so I had to do it myself. I still use them because these issues are not that big of a problem for me.

I bike to work, so dropping off and picking up dry cleaning is inconvenient (and with gas prices, so must it be for car commuters). First-time customers receive 50% off their initial order, which was a significant savings for me. They're prices seem to be average for the area, not inflated to accommodate the delivery service. Everything was returned clean and in good condition, so no complaints there.
Description of Work: I used their online portal to set up an account and arrange the first pick-up of clothing, which included several items (blouses, pants, skirts) accumulated during the months since I moved to Pittsburgh.

 + -1 moreYou can't beat the convenience. Every Tuesday and Friday, Mikey (the driver) stops by and picks up our dirty clothes and drops of the clothes they dry cleaned. You cannot beat the convenience!!! Why drive to the dry cleaners, wait in line for your turn, pay, then drive home?? We leave our bag on the front porch. You don't even have to be home! What they pick up on Tuesday, they return on Friday. What they pick up on Friday, they return on Tuesday. The driver is very friendly. We have used them for about five years or so.

They pick up and drop off at your house for free, their prices are not more expensive than other dry cleaners around Squirrel Hill, and they really get out spots. When you need them to pick up dirty dry cleaning, just call them and they schedule a pick up. Clothes are dropped off within a week at your door. They often have special deals on winter coat cleaning and such. I've found them to be very dependable and convenient. I don't know why anyone drives to the dry cleaners anymore!
