Everything went as promised. All workers were extremely courteous and competent. An outstanding, highly professional job at a fair price.

The overall job went extremly well. Owne Kelly of MRP Painting Services Inc., arrived on time and worked for the entire 8 hours we paid for. He was very professional, taking care to cover our floors (hardwood and carpeted areas) with plastic and taped the plastic down so no water from the steamer stained our floors. He removed all the wallpaper and put it into large constructiob trash bags. We were empressed with his performance and knowledge about removing wallpaper. He left the walls in good condition and made sure the area he worked in was left clean. Excellent quality of service!

BIG DEAL: They did a good job with wall paper removal and the painting I asked to be done. This was a very reasonable Big Deal. Matt, the owner was involved the whole time and very helpful. The owner was prompt and courteous the way he followed up with me.

From start to finish, it was an easy process. The guy worked constantly and cleaned up well. I couldn't have been happier.

Went smothly. I called MRP Painting Service and made the appointment when I wanted it dione. He arrived on time and everything went well. I called the day before to confirm appointment.

Matt and his team were professional from the first phone call through the completion of the project. They were prompt, courteous and they worked from 7am until 3pm each day until the project was finished. Matt came out in less than 24 hours after I called for an estimate. He was actually able to give me an estimate on the spot, and because of a recent opening in his schedule, he was able to start my project in two days. From phone call to estimate to completion of project was only 5 days. We had a fairly large bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet. The rooms look beautiful and I am so pleased with the work that was performed. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors and will use them in the future.

We would highly recommend MRP and will be hiring them back in the near term. First, they were the least expensive bid we got. Secondly, Matt is highly responsive and great to work with. As soon as we called, he was ready to come out and look at the work - no delays. We got the proposal that night - again no delays. He immediately returned all calls on the few occasions when we weren't able to get through to him directly. He even followed up after the work was completed to ensure we were pleased and that nothing was missed - which it wasn't. Third, Matt and his crew are all high quality. We liked all of the guys that were here and were pleased to have them in our home working. Fourth and most important, the quality of their work was outstanding. The rooms all look beautiful, their work area was always kept clean and our walls look brand new. We couldn't be more pleased!

MRP Painting did a fantastic job. My property was built in 1924 and had a lot of old discolored, even waterdamaged wallpaper. Furthermore, the plaster had many large and small cracks behind the wallpaper. Matt and crew removed the wallpaper from all of the rooms and even spackled the large cracks that were behind the wallpaper. I didn't even advise them to spackle, but they did a great job at that. There was one particularly large crack above the staircase which would have been very difficult to fill in by myself, they did perfectly. The smaller cracks were filled in by me (only because there are dozens of them in my old old house!). No Glue was leftover from their work and they even reached the hard to get to places (radiators). Overall they did a great job and price was pretty good for the amount of area they covered. I used the Angies List coupon for 8 hours for $200 and had another 6 hours to finish the upstairs. Overall terrific job. Will hire again as I am a real estate investor.

Owen came out to do the service and he was great! He was very hard working and he cleaned up very neatly when he was done at the end of the day. I would use them again in the future!

Mrp stripped the wallpaper in my hall and stairs. I had tried to do it myself but, as the wallpaper wasn't strippable, I was unsuccessful. Mrp was amaqzing. The workman arrived 10 minutes before he was due. He worked quietly and professionally all day. He was so quiet that I actually forgot he was here. When he finished, he thanked me and left a perfectly cleaned area. The wallpaper was gone but the walls had not been damaged and there were no scraps of paper anywhere. This was a really good experience!

We had a great experience w/ MRP.Matt, the owner, showed up on time to the minute the day he came out to give us an estimate. He was professional and said he would provide an estimate via email by the next morning.My husband and I received his estimate the next morning as stated. My husband had a few questions which Matt responded to immediately.We decided on the work that would be done and MRP started the job within the next day or so.Again, they showed up on time to the minute. The crew was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves.The job took @3 days to complete. At the end of each day, Matt went over w/us what was done and and made sure we were happy w/the quality of the work, which we were.We will definitely be using them again!

I'm a new member to Angie's List & initially signed up for the $99.00 Wallpaper Removal Deal. When contacting the owner Matt he was very responsive to all & any e-mails I submitted to him promptly. The day of the wallpaper removal I met both Matt & Owen who arrived on time for the initial visit. I had wallpaper removed from both my master bedroom & middle room. It took Owen about 3.5 hours to complete & clean up the job very impressed, as you know with some deals you are normally paying more than what you anticipated. Once the wallpaper was removed I then got estimates from Matt to get the walls either just paint ready with additional cost to have it primed & painted. So I went ahead and did whole completion of the middle bedroom, Dan the man did a great job of skimming, sanding, priming & painting the room, keep in mind I live in a row house in Philly & the walls are plastered. It took him several days to completed the job, overall I was very please with the results. I have already made another appointment with Matt to start the same process in my bathroom. I found Matt & his crew to be very hard working & professional individuals, I especially liked the way Matt took his time to explain the skimming process from start to finish with me especially being a female, Matt's main concern is he wants his customers to be satisfied 100%. He takes pride in his business & work I will continue to use him on future jobs & I highly recommend MRP Painting to do what they do best!

I can't recommend MRP Painting highly enough. Great work! Meticulous! Clean! Pleasant! I received several painting quotes (not from Angie's List) and felt nervous about it not being a personal recommendation and this being my first time using Angie's List. However, I was so impressed by Matt's (the owner) professionalism and knowledge and admired that he is new business owner that I decided to take a chance -- I am so glad I did! Matt and his crew, Paul, Dan and later Owen, were incredibly talented, polite, professional and clearly skilled in their field of work. They were punctual and very clean and tidy, which isn't always easy when dealing with wallpaper removal. They painted several rooms and removed wallpaper in one. The job took 4 days. I received other quotes which were about the same and several that were lower, but I had a feeling my experience with MRP Painting would be a good one -- and I was right! Over the years I have hired a number of painters. MRP Painting was the best experience ever. Matt was great at helping me figure out the paint colors so that it would match the other rooms and made sure that the job was finished on time. The work was great! The guys were all lovely. Choose MRP painting and you will be glad you did.

I dealt with the owner of the business from start to finish, I did not have to call a screening service and speak with 3 different people before I laid eyes on a real person. Matt was great, no hidden agendas and honest as the day is long. His staff- Dan - was always timely and courteous. It is extremely difficult to find someone who knows how to work on the older homes. Our home is 100 years old and these guys knew exactly how to do the job at hand. I would recommend Matt and his team in a heartbeat.

Matt had removed wallpaper for us and at that time provided an estimate on painting the exterior of our home. A few months later we decided to go ahead with the project and his bid was the best. Bottom line - everything was great. I could not have asked for a better experience. From paint custom color selections to painting the stucco to painting the aluminum siding, to staining our shed, to painting our garage and the cupola at its peak, to painting our concrete porch and making it safe to walk on.... Nothing could have been done better. There were rain issues and every available day, Matt and his extremely professional, friendly and communicative crew, were here working until the job was completed. I'm sure we'll work with MRP again and I recommend them without hesitation.
