Professional and experts in their field. Matt and his crew took care of painting my main floor and entire 2nd floor and closets, excluding bathrooms, from ceiling to floor. Paul directed all the activities going on, was very attentive and answered all my questions and made sure the walls were smoothed out from their imperfections for a smooth paint finish. He even went out of his way to make sure the foyer entranceway trim was lowered and painted and removed of all the old staples in preparation for the new rug. I had all the rooms cleared of closet hardware and doors and carpeting removed in preparation for the painting. I'm very happy with my new paint job. MRP Painting is reliable, punctual, and responsive to all our requests. Matt gave us the extra red paint that he had from another job and gladly put on another coat where he thought it was needed. Matt's willingness to please and positive attitude ensure our using him again.

Matt and his team arrived on time and fully prepared. They worked tirelessly until the job was done. I believe the wallpaper ended up being more challenging than previously thought, but they stayed until every bit was done. They cleaned up every bit of debris from the job, as if they had never been there. They did a terrific job, and we were able to paint over top of their work the very next day! Matt emailed to make sure we were happy with the work, and we certainly were. We would recommend Matt and his team to anyone looking for great work at a fair price.

What a wonderful experience! Matt and his team are great guys who did a fantastic job. Matt returned my call for a quote very quickly and came out right after. In all honestly, he was the highest quote out of the four painters (all rated high on Angie's List), but after letting him know, he brought his pricing down to be more comparable to the other painters. He was still a little higher but we liked Matt so much we went with him because I felt that he would do a good job. He was very knowledgeable and was pointing out items/suggestions to us in the quote phase. He was able to accommodate our schedule and was done within two days (both indoor and outdoor). His guys were very friendly and did a wonderful job. There was only one hiccup with a painter getting paint on the carpet but they quickly resolved that issue with no damage. The guys were courteous and the job was great. Very clean lines, they sanded, caulked (not within the scope) and even put in drywall screws to a loose wall (again not in scope but they pointed it out). Awesome! We even added in a few things that were not in scope and Matt pulled an extra guy from his crew to come over and do this job for us too all in the same day. Matt called after each day to see if we were happy with our job and if there was anything they could do. Amazing professionalism and customer service. Fantastic overall job. Fabulous experience. Matt responded promptly to our request for an estimate. He was considerate of our time and arrived exactly when promised. No windows of time or "X-ish" times. We agreed to a time and Matt was here at that time. Very happy that Matt is an early-bird and arrived at 7:00 am to give an estimate. Note, I said he arrived AT 7:00 am. He didn't arrive at 7:45. He didn't arrive at 8:15. He arrived at 7:00 am. The day of the job Matt and his crew arrived at exactly the time promised. Another early-bird arrival at 7:00 to get the job started. That RARELY happens with contractors. They tend to be very non-committal about start and end times which can be a terrible inconvenience and is unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful. I can't stress how much I appreciate his willingness to arrive early. The MRP crew went about the project efficiently and professionally. Matt went above and beyond the scope of the project to repair a part of the ceiling that definitely was not part of the project. The MRP crew finished in the time frame specified by Matt when he provided the initial estimate. No bait and switch. No unexpected additional costs. No scope creep. No, "...ummm...I'm going to have to come back tomorrow..." Just a really good job done well. This project was to prepare our home for sale it went on the market the next day. We have purchased a new home and I have decided to retire from my totally unprofessional career as a painter (I used to paint every room in my house) and hire MRP to paint all of the rooms in our new house. We highly recommend MRP.

Hired MRP to do a complete interior paint job on a 3500 sq foot home. Home was a short sale property that was seriously neglected. Matt & his crew did all the wall prep, [priming and finish painting. They are, by far, the best painters I have worked with. They were puncutal, prompt and delivered the job in the required time frame. If you want the job done right and on time, call MRP!

Matthew was very prompt and very competitive of his pricing. When the job ran into some difficulty, he gave me a reasonable adjustment on his price. His crew was very pleasant and easy to work with. They also cleaned up after themselves. I've recommended him to several people already and they've had good experiences with him also.

pMatt and his team came in and fixed a myriad of problems in our house - we had 3 areas with water damage that were three different problems - a drywall ceiling that had water damage from a roof leak, a main interior wall that had extensive plaster water damage, and a bedroom wall that had ancient wallpaper and plaster water damage - they also repainted that entire room for us. The team was prompt and accommodating on schedule - knocked out everything to our expectation and did a great job cleaning up alot of mess. I was very pleased with the team and the result - won't hesitate to call Matt and his team next time I need this type of work again.

I joined Angie's List to find a painter for several rooms/areas in my home. After reviewing the comments, I decided to contact Matt Rathbeb of MRP Painting. I am glad that I did. From the initial phone call to the week after follow-up call, it has been a great experience. Matt and his crew are wonderful to work with. THEY ARE EXPERTS IN PAINTING !!!!! Very meticulous. All the workers were very courteous and professional at all times. The arrived on time each day. They cleaned up before leaving each day. Because the walls in the foyer and powder room were not prepared correctly when the wallpaper was put up 14 years ago, it was a very tough job for the crew to remove the wallpaper. Matt told me at the beginning that the wallpaper might not come off without some damage to the walls. So, I was expecting that the walls would have to be skim coated before they could be painted. All the work MRP did exceeded my expectations. I would contract them again in a heart beat. If you are looking for a painter, I would highly advise you to call Matt for a quote. Matt squeezed us right into his schedule. He and his guys showed up on time, and they were extremely professional and excellent at what they did. We were extremely pleased with the outcome of the windows, hall and two bathrooms. However, the color I picked for the powder room looked very different once it was on the walls. Matt knew I was not happy with the color so he repainted it. I gave him an article of clothing with the color I thought I wanted and he took it over the next day to the paint store and matched it up and repainted. Unfortunately, I still did not like the color (fickle woman) so my intent is to repaint it myself over the weekend. Matt would not hear of that. He told me to go get the new paint and he would send a guy out on Sat morning to repaint the room (for the third time)!! Little Matt showed up at 7:30 on Sat (even though they had another job they were working on at the time), and he repainted the room. There was NO ADDITIONAL COST involved for repainting a room three times. Matt just wanted a happy customer! Well, he certainly got one! I've used many contractors, but few can hold a candle to Matt and his guys. They are prompt, courteous, have attention to detail and put the customer's satisfaction first. I can't say enough good about this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good painter!

From the first phone call to the time the painting was complete was less than 2 weeks! The paint job was great, he was professional and punctual and by far the most reasonable from all the estimates we got. We will definitely use him again for any paint work in the future.

Matt came out to our house & told us he could just prep our walls or prep & paint everything. we were so pleased with his professionalism we told him to the entire job. he & his men were so courteous throughout. they were finished in 3 days. when my husband noticed a slight streak they came out & repainted the entire wall. we recommend them very highly & wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I forgot to mention that before they left, they dusted all the furniture & vacuumed the entire downstairs. where do you get service like that !!

My daughter had painting done by Matt and was very happy.My wife and I needed painting of parents home to ready for sale.Matt came in evening,which was great since both my wife and I work.He was prompt and knows his business.He e-mailed us a detailed plan and cost.He started on the date he said and exact time.He finished and we are very happy with all work espically the water damage area.You can not tell where the damaged area was.He is polite and very professional.I certainly recommend him to anyone.

Matt came on time, was courteous, took care with the furniture that had to be moved, and protected everything with clean drop cloths and plastic. He was careful about cleaning up when the work was done. He sent a worker back to do a touch up, and the worker was as prompt, careful and meticulous, as Matt had been. I am very pleased with the job.

Everything went GREAT from start to finish ! We have a small pediatric medical office and wanted to do some renovations. We contacted Matt to do the interior painting and wall repair. He came right out and did an estimate. He is very personable and friendly and clearly knows his trade. He made suggestions about how to go about some of the work. We have children in our office and Matt was very sensitive to this and pointed out that he would use only the safest products and use nothing that would leave an odor. This was very important to us. Instead of refinishing our front desk with an oil based varnish that would leave an odor he suggested a paint on chalkboard ! I had never heard of this and think it is very nice in a children's office. His estimate was reasonable. He came on time and did wonderful work. He also did the work on weekends to accommodate our office hours. Matt always returned phone calls and emails promptly. He made this a very easy process. I'm not that easy to please and I've been told I'm "picky". Matt made the whole process "headache free" and we are very happy with his work. We have received many nice compliments on the work he did. I wholeheartedly recommend him. If you need painting done, look no further-Matt is your man. He truly is THE PERFECT PAINTER.

Wow....what an AWESOME experience!!!! My friend was having wallpaper removed in her kitchen by MRP Painting Services, Inc. and she referred them to me. On the same day that Matt completed my friends? kitchen, he immediately came to my house to give me an estimate. We reviewed all areas that needed to be repaired in my huge living room with high cathedral ceilings, guest and master bathroom's and master bedroom....we spoke on paint colors and I was very pleased with Matt's thoughts and expertise! Matt and Paul showed up at exactly the time they stated they'd be here and went to work (putting down drop clothes to protect my carpet and furniture) and fixing all the cracks in the walls/ceiling of the living room. That project took two days and I am very pleased with their work! Then Wednesday Paul returned to paint both bathrooms and they looked magnificent! Paul saw that the caulking around my tub needed to be re-caulked and without even being asked - he re-caulked the tub for me! I was so touched! Then on Friday, Matt and Paul returned to paint my master bedroom - I was a little leery about the color I had chosen, and then reverted to a lighter color, and Matt obliged by getting the lighter paint without any issues. Excellent result!! I highly recommend MRP Painting Services, Inc.!!!! I have other projects pending in the Spring!

Matt was very professional and punctual. We decided to go with a different contractor due to price and the reccomendation of a friend. I wouldn't hesitate to refer MRP to family or friends.

The man arrived on time and did the work for the first day the paper was removed and the kitchen was left in order after the job. A few days later Kenny arrived and painted my kitchen, for the first time ever, had always been papered but the walls are smooth and you would never know there had been paper. The job took two days to do minor patching and then to apply to coats of paints, again a very neat job and I would recommend MRP painting to everyone. Matt is very professional and good group of men.
