Great as always! We're actually a little sad that we're relocating since we know how difficult it is to find a talented and honest contractor like Barry. As a bonus, he's a genuinely nice and funny guy.

Barry and his crew are fun and interesting people! Barry was very honest and thorough during the initial walk-through. He did not over promise, but was honest about what his team could do and the timeline. They demonstrated great flexibility in helping to expedite our job, which was set back by a bad experience with a different contractor. We added a few items during the job and Barry was always up front in telling us about any added costs and providing us with alternatives. The quality of their work was good they quickly addressed any items that we were not 100% satisfied with the first time. Barry acknowledged up front that customers have commented that his team could be tidier. We noticed this too, but overall were very happy that we hired them and appreciated their efforts and the results! Thanks, Barry and team!

Barry was very professional and responsive. Gave a detailed estimate and was quick to schedule. He had another job that was wrapping up as he was starting mine and did everything to make sure I was not inconvenienced while working on both (including driving from one end of the city to the other multiple times!). Painting was quick and efficient, team was very friendly and professional. They moved all my furniture back in place in between days so I could still get around which was fantastic. Overall very happy with the service I received!

The only reason we did not use Barry is due to a referral to another painter from a family member. I will say that he was very professional and courteous when he came out and took the time to go over what needed to be done. He presented us with a quote in a prompt fashion and then also redid it when I had a question about something to make sure it was included. Although we did not use his services I would definitely recommend him based on his professionalism and promptness. His record speaks for itself.

Barry and his crew did an excellent job painting the interior of our newly purchased, three story row home. The walls were in good condition, but everything was tan and we're not fans of tan. Barry guided us to Benjamin Moore, where we picked out colors to remedy the situation. He and his crew got to work the week after we moved in, which was great because we left most of our belongings packed. It took about 4-5 days to paint all of the rooms (LR, DR, kitchen, 2 baths, 4 BR) and hallways, most of which are 11+ feet tall. Barry and his crew took incredible care around anything that was not being painted, including most of the trim, mantels and ceilings and, of course, the floors and our belongings! It was also great to have Barry on hand when we ran into a "challenge" with our washer and dryer being installed. We have a small basement door and were about 1/2 in short to fit the dryer barrel through without taking off the entire door down to the jamb. Fortunately, Barry came to the rescue! He removed everything, down went the dryer barrel with ease, and Barry replaced and repainted the door, jamb and surrounding trim. You'd never know any of it had been taken apart. Thank you for helping us make our new home beautiful, Barry!

Barry was extremely polite on the phone and made arrangements to meet with me for an estimate that day. He was on time and was very thorough and honest with his plan on how he would handle the job. He provided me with an estimate the following day and I believe it to be very fair. We did not end up using Barry because of our own time constraints, although Barry did let us know that he would not be available until the 2nd week of July. I would absolutely contact Barry in the future.

Barry Bush and his crew did a great job painting our downstairs and stairwell. He was very courteous and professional when he came to check out the job and gave a reasonable estimate compared to others. Since we did not know about the different paint options he informed us of them. The crew worked for the most part while we were on vacation. Barry kept us apprised of the progress via email. They needed an extra day after we came back but kept their materials in one spot to minimize the intrusion into our life. The job included a great deal of molding and the work was impeccable. There was one rough spot on the wall that needed re-spackling and painting. He came back in a few days to complete this without hassle. We had a very positive experience with Barry Bush Home Improvement and would not hesitate to use them again.

The job went great overall. I am completely delighted with how my place looks. Barry and his team did a high quality job, very straightforward, honest and easy to work with. I felt my place was in great hands with regard to care of my furniture, etc. Would definitely use Barry again.

This was the second time that Barry and his crew did a repair and painting job at my house. Like the first job, all went very well. I was kept informed, they arrived when they said they would, along the way I was given progress reports, and they completed the job when they said they would. There were no surprises. The work was beautifully and neatly done. I have found Barry's work to be painstaking, detail-oriented, careful, and very professional. I plan to have additional work done this May by this team.

It couldn't have gone better. We were struggling with how to even out some poorly hung drywall done before we owned the house. The bad work resulted in uneven baseboards/molding on our staircases and a crooked corner in our hallway. Barry and his partner custom cut wood stringers to build up the sides of the stairs, and rounded out the crooked hallway corner -- now our place looks like a finished house rather than a work in progress! The painting is flawless and as with our previous experience working with Barry, everything was finished on time and at a more than fair price. It's really hard to find a professional, talented, and reliable contractor so if you're reading this stop searching and just call Barry.

Barry et al. were great. The house needed significant drywall repair before being painted. Repair and painting were done in about a week. Communication was excellent and I'm very happy with the work.

Barry and his crew did an exceptional job which included some very hard to reach places. An open staircase required several colors and was painted flawlessly. He took special care to protect my new cabinets and newly refinished floors. Barry worked around my schedule and painted one of my bathrooms a week before he started the rest of the house and his price was more than fair given the scope of this job. I understand completely why Barry comes so highly recommended.

After a prompt estimate, conveniently broken down room by room so that work could be done in stages, Barry gave me over a week's notice of when he would be available. We exchanged e-mails about colors and he purchased the paint which I later paid for at his cost. He and his crew of two were very professional and handled the fact that I have a lot of stuff very well. They did as much as possible about preventing dust from permeating the house and did an excellent job of clean-up after finishing up the job a full day earlier than expected. I'll definitely have them back to do more work.

Barry replaced two bathroom ceilings with new drywall because of water damage caused by the above condo. He showed up when he said he would, and finished the work within a few days. He also went out of his way to find paint to match the color of the walls and ceiling color. The ceilings look brand new--he did an excellent job. And besides the paint job and drywall, he did a great job cleaning up during and after his work. He was friendly and courteous at all times. I would definitely use his services again.

On time-great to have around and most of all, all of them cleaned up their workspace. Very efficient and reasonably priced. I wish everyone would work like Barry Bush and his team.

Barry Bush was a complete professional and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was responsive to all my inquiries, punctual for every meeting and completed a beautiful job painting 2 stairways, 2 hallways with ceilings and 3 bedrooms with walls, trim & ceilings - all in different colors. He also fixed a rather large hole in one wall, insisting on not just patching the hole, but replacing a part of the wall. It looks good as new. He also fixed the gaps and smaller holes all over the ceilings and walls, and painted the inside of a cruddy closet just cause it really needed it. Barry was helpful and flexible with choosing the many paint colors I wanted for each section of the job. He offered some really helpful advice in a non-pressure way - and I am REALLY glad I took it! If I had gone with my original color in the hallways, I would have been really sorry! He also passed along his contractor discount for paint at Benjamin Moore, saving us money and time. This work was completed while my family was out of town, and I completely trusted Barry to come and go as he needed to over the week. We were delighted when we returned home to find a large portion of our home transformed by the beautiful work Barry & his team completed. The painting quality is top notch - even, saturated color and crisp, clean lines. Other than the perfect paint job, we could hardly tell they were there, as they cleaned up the mess from this large job very well. I am now inspired to paint other parts of our home with Barry. He is my go-to painting guy from now on!

When a pipe burst in my bathroom, it literally rained into my dining room below. The drywall in the dining room ceiling and to be replaced. Barry Bush called me right back, came out to do an estimate for my insurance company claim, and let me schedule the work when it was convenient for us. He also made repairs to my upstairs hallway ceiling at the same time. He primed and painted after the drywall was done. Everything looks great, and there was very little clean up needed after the work was done. I highly recommend Barry and would definitely use him again!

Barry is super responsive via email and phone, quick to come and give an estimate, schedule the work and is equally as fast in doing the work. He is very nice and pleasant to work with and if he misses anything will happily fix it to make sure the customer is happy.

It was great! They were able to accomodate me on short notice. They squeezed me in and got the work done quickly. It looks great!

Not as well as hoped. The work was dificult. My mother returned from rehab while Barry was finishing the painting. That was not his fault. I informed him in advance. What did bother me was he had to remove curtain rods and was not able to put them back up in the living room. Missing pice. In addition I had to ask him to replace the basboards in the dinning room, which sustained most of the water damage. He was paid his original fee (insurance claim) and gave me another estimate for an additional $411.00 for the basboard installitation. I was not satisfied with the basebords. I faxed the additional costs to Allstate. The rods are still not in place.

He came by with my insurance company to give me an estimate for repairs due to a leak in the ceiling. I decided to go with Barry because he was a Super Service Award winner the last 3 years with Angie's List. He was very professional, knowledgable and his pricing was very reasonable. He has been in constant contact with me regarding my repairs and always returns e-mails and phone calls promptly. He showed up on time to the estimate meeting.

Barry was very efficient, always calling me to give me timing and always being at the house when he said he would be. He is very personable and the work was done well and at the estimate. I would not hesitate to recommend Barry for others and will certainly use him again if I need to.

The quality of his workmanship was very good.
