Barry was responsive to our initial inquiry and was prompt in setting up time to do work. He and his team worked quickly and were neat and the end result is fabulous.

Barry's the best - I contacted him because of all the other positive reviews on Angie's List, and he lived up to my very high expectations. He was extremely responsive, professional, punctual, didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't need done, and did excellent work for a fair price. He and his crew cleaned the work site thoroughly, and kept excellent communication while the job was going on. We're very, very satisfied and grateful. The next time we need painting done, I will make exactly one phone call - to Barry Bush.

Moving to a new area it is challenging to find excellent service providers at a reasonable cost. I was quite happy with Barry and his team of painters. They were in my newly constructed home for several days as the whole home required new paint. They were very pleasant to work with, helpful, neat, and skillful. I was so pleased I will definitely use them for all my painting needs in the future.

My experience with Barry and his team was great. We had to deal with a lot of delays due to unexpected electric work in our house.Barry accommodated the delays promptly, and we were able to work out a new schedule that suited both of us. I have no complaints about the quality of work. Nice job!

We had excellent service with Barry Bush. He was very responsive by email and made scheduling the estimate and the job quite easy. It was done in one day and he cleaned up perfectly. Also the paint job was very nice. I was very happy with this service.

Barry was responsive in returning my calls to setup a walk though of the damaged areas of the home and was quick to provide me a quote via email. Barry and his crew were very professional when showing up to perform the drywall repair and painting. I was very happy with all the work performed.

We received three estimates from different painters. Barry Bush's estimates are a little different than the others, in that he doesn't include material costs in his estimates. This made comparison a bit difficult, but the prices seemed ok and I liked Barry's style. We had the house painted in pieces -- first the painters transformed the 3rd floor, which required them to remove wallpaper from a bathroom and to cover black laquer paint. We were a little indecisive about paint colors, but Barry's workers (all of whom are artists) gave us great advice. In the next stage, the painters took care of our 2nd floor den (which includes a lot of molding and a new built-in) and 2nd floor bathroom. After that, the painters tackled our dining room, which was almost completely covered in dark wood wainscotting and crown molding. They used a sprayer to cover the wood in a lovely white paint. They then painted the kitchen, the living room, and our hallways (Which required a lot of repair work). The house looks amazing. Barry Bush handled all of my requests professionally and promptly. We couldn't be happier. In fact, we've recommended him to all of our friends.

As soon as we were ready to have the work done, Barry and his team showed up and finished the whole thing in 1 and 1/2 days. Great job.

Barry and his crew were great! They were responsive prompt and cleaned up well and were very careful with our property. The job was done quickly and they came back for a few touch ups with no questions asked! Would not hesitate to hire again.

We'd hire Barry and his crew again in a second. They were all wonderful. Barry went over everything with us and helped us stay within our budget, while getting the effect we wanted in each room. Make no mistake about it; this was a complicated job. Each room was different; the foyer had three colors, as did the living room and dining room. I think Barry posted photos on his website, so you can see the intricacies of the work. The work was done in a timely manner and it was done superbly. Barry cheerfully came back to do a bit of touch-up. Each of his crew members was fun to work with. Some are artists in their own right. Each had a passion for the work and wanted to do a job he or she could be proud of. This wasn't just work for these folks...they enjoy what they do, and it shows.

These guys are perfectionists!! I was given an estimate, then was told what day they would show up. They arrived exactly on time. I was told the job would take 3 days and it did. They were very neat, covered everything. At the end of the day everything was put away. At the end of the job I was left with a beautiful bathroom,everything was done to perfection. Then they rehung everything and scrubbed the floors and tub clean! Barry and his co workers are extremely proffessional, and even more they are really likeable and comfortable to be around. The price was a good deal. I have asked that they take on a new project, and am waiting on a estimate. so yes I will use them again.

Everything worked well. He always responds to our e-mail inquiries. One day he was going to be late and he told us before hand.

Gentleman came to my home on date discussed to give estimate of job. After some consideration I decided to not have tje work done at this time. If or when I decide to have work done I would use his service.

We have used Barry several times over the years and have found him to be honest, reliable, and very capable. This time, we needed a hole in our living room ceiling patched, some cracked ceiling drywall scraped and repaired, and the full ceiling re-painted. Additionally, we had several small holes filled and painted over in a bedroom. Barry and an assistant arrived on time and completed the job in a little under a work day. The job took less time than he had budgeted, so Barry charged us less than his quoted amount! We will certainly continue to use Barry

This is the fourth time we've had Barry do work in our house. Obviously we trust him and we value the work that he does. The first time was about four years ago when he painted the living room, dining room, hallways and stairways of our three story home (I posted a glowing review about that work back then). It was a big job with just a ton to detail work on the very ornate trim. I trusted Barry and he totally delivered. Since then we've had him back to paint a bathroom we had renovated plus now two bedrooms. He is always very detail oriented, excellent with communication, and he delivers the goods. I'm sure we will have him back whenever we need some painting work done.

The work was begun on a Monday and completed by Thursday, with two coats of paint applied. Barry and his crew arrived on time each day, were incredibly neat, and helpful in moving room contents out of the way, some of it from the first floor to the second. Given the amount of work to be done, the team was highly efficient . In the course of getting the estimate, scheduling the work, during the work process, and even afterward, Barry's communication with us was clear and prompt. In one of the later messages, he told us that he would come back to deal with any spots he might have missed and with a small scuff mark on a wall created by something being carried upstairs brushing against it. He returned within a few days after the job was done to deal with the scuff successfully. There were no missed spots, those we thought existed proving to be shadows. We are repainting our interior piecemeal and have no doubt that we will hire Barry to paint what remains to be done. He is most highly recommended.

Overall, great. I had to cancel the original date, so it took a bit to reschedule, but Barry kept me informed about his schedule. The work took three and a half days, and the result exceeded my expectations. The ceilings look great, the painting was done very well. You cannot see when the patchwork was done. I wout hire him again in a minute.

Barry was great to work with, and in fact this is the second time we have had a chance to bring him into our home for work. He provided a competitive quote and worked with us to meet our budgetary needs. He was quick to add us to his schedule. His crew completed the work ahead of time, with great quality craftsmanship. Barry came back the day after they completed the work to touch up a few areas. The place looks great.

Barry Bush was able to start the project on our schedule. His pricing was competitive. His staff covered newly finished floors, cleaned-up carefully, and worked hard to prepare surfaces and paint carefully. We are very happy with the finished work.

Barry is extremely responsive and professional. He came over to our house on a Friday afternoon and had us a quote by that Saturday. After we were able to get our schedules to coordinate, Barry and his team were hard at work. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked. Barry was great about explaining the different products to me (in particular, the different kinds of paints that we could use) and did a great job of matching the color of the trim that the previous homeowners had used. His team cleaned up and were neat. We had one minor incident with paint getting on furniture, but Barry was highly responsive about the incident and stayed at the house until everything was as good as new and the stain was gone.

Barry and his crew showed up on time, performed professionally, communicated promptly, and did what we agreed to. What else is there? Thanks for a great job.

I was very pleased with all the work Barry did . Firstly he always got back to us right away . He cleaned up after the work was completed and it was done in a timely fashion.One of our walls had a hole from a tv bracket in which he covered up and is no longer noticeable . He also put in light bulbs that had burned out in several rooms. Also when our movers brought in our furniture they made marks on all the walls in the stairways. On my own I repainted over the markings using the right color but wrong finish. Anyway those areas looked terrible and we called Barry. We did pay him for the extra paint and labor( small amount )but he painted over my mess. I was so glad thank you Barry ! !

Here's the bottom line - my husband and I are both architects and developers, and we had no punch list or problems with his work - a great accomplishment! Barry was extremely prompt, followed all requests, and finished up on quickly. It cost more than I wanted (oh well), but he was the lowest of 3 bids. Because of our above professions, we hit him with an owner's contract to sign which was a new one for Barry, and he managed. So all you folks that want to use professional contract, we've softened him up for you! BTW this kind of contract is really unnecessary for Angies list regulars, as Angie's list actually serves as a contract policing service - cool function! Angie's list, feel free to use this statement.

They did excellent work. The painting was of high quality. There were a total of three guys plus Barry who worked on this job. They arrived promptly each day. They completed the job in two days. They were very neat. The painters were very professional. We could not have been more pleased. The pricing was reasonable and the work was outstanding, we would definitely use them again.
