Very well. EDS had all needed parts and was able to complete the repair in about 3 hours. They were there on time. They were friendly and easy to deal with.

They did a great job. They were punctual and professional. I am very pleased.

My garage door was still working but the casters have popped off and come loose. i saw this big deal and took advantage of it. He added a remote door opener for $50 extra. Clean work. Cleaned up after himself too. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

It went well. They were excellent in coming. They installed a touch pad instead of a key or button and that is working wonderfully. I don't think it is due to their quality of work. I need to call them again because the door has kind of worked itself out of adjustment again. I really had no complaints with them.

It was wonderful! I got home, hit the door opener, the garage opened and the bill was on the shelf for $91. Never even had to leave work. So much cheaper than a new garage door opener! I will definitely use them again.

The person who came diagnosed and fixed the problem with one door not closing properly, and then installed a keyless entry pad on the other door, which did not have one.

Overall the services worked out great.

Set up the service with Greg. He was very personable and professional. They came within a few days to perform the service. My wife and I work so we set up a temporary code for our garage door so he could do the service without us being there. Everything works fine and the work was very neat and clean. Would definitely use them again.

There was a mix up with appointments. But when they did come out it was a excellent service. Good deal for a good price. They were very efficient.

My only issue with their services, was that they did not have a keypad available on their truck that would work with our automatic garage door opener. So, although we now have a clicker that works for this particular garage door, we are still stuck using the keypad that only works part of the time.

The process was very smooth. The company was very friendly and accomodated my time constraints. The two people who came were very professional and perform the requested process quickly.

I didn't have a lot of interaction with the company, but the technician arrived on time and finished the work very quickly. It turned out that I didn't need everything included in the Deal, but he made sure that everything was in good condition before leaving.

I responded to The Big Deal offer for a garage door reconditioning plus free key-less entry pad. The key-less entry pad is a great feature to have. Ray Shumaker is very professional and courteous and explained what he was doing. He even fixed the lights on the garage door opener because one was not making contact. This was much appreciated. I will certainly contact him if future work is needed.

The directions for the keyless entry are confusing. You need to press and hold the entry button multiple times when the transmitter is sending the signal. If you hold too long, it erases the signal. So there is a sweet spot for pressing entry that is tricky. The design of a simple receiver should be more robust.

I am grateful to Angie's List for providing this and other services at a nominal price. The garage door service by Emergency Door Services in Pittsburgh is a good example of the quality Deals offered to customers.

That part went fine; the crew arrived the next day, did their work quickly, and installed a new motor which is nice and quiet. The next week, the rollers on one side started popping off the rail, a problem that has never happened before in the two years we have been in this home (and a problem I have never had with another garage door in any home). I can only assume it has something to do with what they did when they "tuned up" the track and rollers. Since then we have made three calls to them, leaving a message with the receptionist each time, explaining the new problem and that we would like them to come out and fix it. They have never returned a phone call. On a few occasions I was able to hammer the wheels back in place to get the door to operate but it is now stuck open and, again, they are not even returning the calls. Oh, and don't let the name fool you as it did me. I had assumed "emergency" meant they would be available or have somebody on call after hours or on the weekends. No such luck, only during weekday business hours.

Setting up the appointment was very easy - I reached someone via phone quickly and was able to schedule an appointment within 1 - 2 days of our phone call. Dan (? : I'm terrible with names) and his assistant, Zach arrived promptly at the designated time and date. Dan confirmed what work I was looking to have done and inspected the garage doors. He activated and installed the keyless garage door opener quickly and then spent about 15 to 20 minutes inspecting and servicing (i.e. lubricating) the garage door parts and mechanisms. In response to my inquiries regarding whether replacing any of the parts would make the door quieter, Dan replied that the door was in good working condition and replacing any of the parts would not have a noticable effect on the noise of the door. Overall, I had a very good experience with this company and thought they were very efficient, professional, and friendly.

I purchased and used an Angie's List Big Deal (the $99 for a Garage Door Reconditioning + Free Key-less Entry Pad or New Rollers) back in April 2012, but the 2 gentlemen that serviced my garage door were so good, that I still remember them well and finally got around to writing this report. Great service! This is the kind of company that I like to do business with because the 2 gentlemen explained what they were going to do, explained what they had found that needed tuned and repaired and went over the repairs with me after the work was completed. They also taught me about maintenance on my automatic garage door. I just love it when service men explain things so well and actually educate you on the care of your home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. GREAT SERVICE and VERY PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY STAFF!!

Overall, very good experience. Installers where great, neat and fast. only issue, was i had an 8 ft garage door, the deal only included a rail for a 7 ft door. Had to pay extra for the extra rail. Not sure the rail length was clearly defined. The door operator is very quiet and operating very well
