They were great to work with, were wiling to come out to my house without me being there a leave a bill for me. First day they came out it turns out I have a "special" garage door that needed a special spring. He gave me options on how to handle the job and once I decided they were prompt in coming back out to fix garage door. Their willingness to squeeze me in twice in one week in the winter was greatly appreciated as having to constantly scrape snow/ice off my car got old after a few days. I would definitely use them again, they did great work!

They did an excellent job. They were awesome. They were professional. It was quick. They explained what was going on, and they told me that my weather stripping was new enough that they wouldn’t have to replace it, so, that was nice.

The technician arrived on time, inspected my existing garage door, and took measurements of my garage. I told him that I wanted a non insulated garage door since my garage is detached from my home and the garage is not insulated. He provided me an estimate for a Clopay garage door and Liftmaster opener. He gave me information about the door and opener and answered my questions. The estimate I got from Emergency Door Services was more than $200 higher than an estimate I got for the exact same door and opener from another contractor who was also highly rated on Angie's List. I ended up accepting the competitor's estimate.

The job was scheduled in a professional manner. The technicians arrived on time. They performed an inspection, and even though my door was relatively new, 2 squeeky rollers needed to be replaced as the deal specified. They were thorough in their work, and lubricated and tightened everything as needed. They were very helpful, and educated me about the door, and told me how to care for my door so it would last a long time. The door is now much quieter, the only problem is my wife startled me when she came in the house the other day because I did not here the door creak as it used to! I would use this company again.

I was a bit out of sorts when my garage door wouldn't open - especially when I realized the overhead spring had broken. I found Emergency Door Services and the reviews were positive so I gave them a call. They were able to fit me in the following day. The two guys who showed up were on time and were done in under 30 minutes. They told me what they would do and had all the necessary parts on their truck. They were also able to give me information about potentially replacing my door, such as what I should look for and provided me with some brochures for the models they carry. I would use this company in the future.

They arrived on time, and replaced the dead garage door opener. They did not replace the garage door. I was present for most of the installation, which lasted about 90 minutes. After it was replaced, they showed me the new features of the opener (which was not on my very old previous opener). They cleaned up after themselves. Since this was an Angie's List deal, I had prepaid the service.

My garage door had stopped working correctly earlier in the week. I began calling places closest to my home. The first could not come out until the following week. Luckily, I called Emergency next. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. They worked with my schedule and come out the next day. Paul was polite and clear. He listened to my description of problems & checked the system. I was very relieved that he did not think I needed to get a new opener yet. He was very professional and capable. He warned me that given the age of my opener the next time I had problems would probably be a good time to replace it. But he did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I would use them again

Ray the technician originally came out to replace the old door springs. He gave us a thorough inspection and honest opinion about the condition of both the garage door and the springs. Both were in dangerous condition. We decided to go ahead and replace the door completely. We are relieved that we did. While the new door was on order, one of the old springs on the existing door did break and we were unable to use the garage door at all! Ray and Zach arrived exactly on time to replace the door and made no mess. They put the door and new opener in without any problems and made sure they consulted us when it came time to position the opener, etc. Ray is hugely knowledgable as well as easy-going and friendly; just the kind of professional we want to have working on our home! Ray even moved all the trash neatly out to the kerb and took our trash bins out for us too. We could not be more pleased with the product and service.

Scheduling was easy for this big deal. The appointment was within a few days of my call and to my convenience. The repair man was knowledgeable and courteous and took a good amount of time trying to calibrate the door after he fixed the cable. My opener is quite old but he did not complain and kept adjusting the door until we got it to close tight. A month later I was concerned that the door was scraping the frame and I called again. They came and made another adjustment plus re painted the frame that had been scratched. Very good service. I will use again if needed.

The original appointment did have to be rescheduled, as the technician was on a job that was taking longer than expected, so they worked around my schedule to have someone come on a Saturday. Very happy with the service and would both use again and recommend to others.

Emergency Door Services was very professional, on time, and upfront about the cost of parts/labor. They fixed both our cable lines and made sure all functions of the garage door were working properly. I was so happy with their service and would definite recommend Emergency Door Services.
