Movin's Murdy's was extremely professional from the time the quote was given, through the follow up phone calls through the actual move. The crew proved professional, friendly and careful with all belongings. They were unerringly polite at all times. The estimate Movin' Murdy's gave us was several hundred $$ under another estimate and they were more flexible with their available dates. I was highly impressed, as was my husband.

Adam and his team did a fine job. After a walk through, his team worked in a timely manner to load my household furnishings with great care. Upon arrival at new location, a pause for another walk-thru led to an offload that went very well. They exceeded my expectations and were polite and professional. Joe and Chris kept in contact with me prior to the move to ensure that we kept to the schedule given the COVID-19 restrictions. Highly recommend.

Movin Murdy was EXREMELY professionl. Arrived, early, did an excellent job with taking furniture apart, wrapping and moving and setting up at the new location. Their estimate was on the money and we did not receive any overages. The staff was excellent and we could not be happier with the service provided. Having moved a few times, we had used another mover that was awful. We had broken items and were charged overages, mostly due to workers slacking on the job. You will not be disappointment with Movin Murdy's and I'll be sure to suggest them to anyone I know. Well done!

I had Movin' Murdy do a full pack and move for me from Pittsburgh to Raleigh, NC. I received 4 quotes, 2 from national companies and 2 from local companies. The 2 national companies were the cheapest, then MM and the other local company the most expensive. The primary reason I decided to go with MM was because the national companies were going to give me a 5 day window as to when they would unload my belongings (depending on the other loads they were transporting), while MM was willing to give me an exact date they would unload my belongings (because the truck only contained my load). With starting a new job in Raleigh, it was much easier just having a set date. I had a 1700 sq ft condo, and the time required was 2 people working for 6 hours the first day just on packing, then 3 people working for 6 hours on the second day packing and loading. Scott and Chris were there both days, with Raphael helping on the second day. Scott and Chris drove the truck down and unloaded everything in Raleigh. It probably took 4-6 hours to unload everything into my 1200 sq ft apartment. All three people were extremely professional at all times. Everything came through the move completely unscathed, with no damage or missing items. Yes, I paid a little more (about $500) with the local company than the national companies, but I thought it was worth it for the convenience of knowing exactly when my goods would arrive. I would whole-heartedly recommend Movin Murdy to anybody looking to do a move, especially Scott and Chris.

The crew arrived on time and were extremely detail oriented. All of our delicate and expensive items were specially prepared and moved with the upmost care. We have several pieces that are very heavy. Everything arrived and were setup exactly how they were before the move. Obviously moving expenses are an investment. Knowing that our items were in great hands was a tremendous piece of mind during a stressful time. We really appreciate the team at Movin’ Murdy!

We were very pleased with this company. Our move was short in distance but they treated it the same as moving across the country. The 4 men that showed up (Adam, J.R., Matt, & Devon) are very professional!! Their boss should be very proud of them. They were the hardest working group of men I have seen in a long time. They were very careful in handling ALL of our possessions and property, very polite, and friendly. I would use this company again if moving!

Movin’ Murdy moved my furniture and other belongings from my two homes in PA and SC to my new home in FL. They were careful in packing and transporting everything, and there wasn’t a single item broken, damaged, or lost in the move. The movers were extremely knowledgeable in their jobs, accomplished the move in a timely fashion, and were extremely polite and accommodating in our needs. I would highly recommend this company for any moving needs anyone might have.

I was in a very very difficult spot and Joe Murdy stepped in to help right away! He not only offered his moving services, he was able to get my things to my new home within a week of us finding a new place! The guys that came to move us were amazing. They were very kind and funny at a time we needed it most. Best of all they were super careful with my belongings and offered to go above and beyond by putting everything back together that had been taken apart for the move. I couldn't have been happier with their service and their help. I'll recommend them every time!

I would highly recommend Movin' Murdy. These guys were great. Joe was very responsive. He called me to go over the quote for the work to make sure I didn't have any questions. The young men that did the actual heavy lifting were an absolute delight. They were professional, courteous, hardworking and very pleasant. The day we moved out of our old home, the weather was very hot and humid. The day we moved into our new home it was pouring rain. While the conditions were less than ideal, these guys were smiling and laughing with us and very careful with our home and belongings. I will definitely use them again.

Adam, Kyle, Junior and Mark were prompt, courteous, fun, and respectful of my property. , especially my antiques. They also came in a little less than the estimate. I would definitely use them again.

Perfectl! We had a big move and Movin Murdy’s was amazing. We downsized from the big house of 30 years. Moving is stressful, but Movin Murdy’s handled it perfectly. Great family business with years of experience and superb Pittsburgh work ethic.

The movers were excellent! They were organized, courteous, and punctual, kept my houses clean (and didn't damage my doors or walls, or any of my furniture), and worked with us to coordinate the move so that it was convenient for my family (they prioritized moving the kids beds and cribs, and getting reassembled, so I could get bedding on their mattresses and their rooms ready before they got home from daycare!). They were fast, but thorough, and made moving so easy! I highly recommend them. The are a family business who cares about their customers, and their employees! The guys were happy, and friendly, and I am grateful!

WOW! I have never seen anything like these guys. They were so accommodating when we had to change our move date. When we got the right day, they showed up on time and they were incredibly friendly. Each member of the team introduced themselves and shook our hands; we did not feel like a bunch of strangers were walking into our house and carrying our things away. They all had clean shoes and hands, and the truck was immaculate. When there was something potentially dirty to move, they put on gloves and did not leave black hand prints all over the furniture. They put moving blankets over EVERY surface that stuck out, around doors and door frames, protecting our home (both the one we were moving out of and the one we were moving into). They had neoprene/plastic runners that they laid down to protect the floors and carpets, and to keep everything tidy. They never used the wheeled cart on any surface other than the neoprene runner and did not scratch the floors at all. Every member of the team was careful, straightening the floor protecting runner every time it got wrinkled or shifted. Boxes were neatly stacked exactly where we wanted them. They really took care to make sure that everything they did was careful and well thought out, especially when moving large pieces of furniture. When there was a box marked "Fragile" they treated it like it was fragile, whether we were standing there watching or not. They put the fragile things on top, never stacking another box on top of something marked fragile. I really cannot say enough good things about these guys. Every other move I have done has been a nightmare, where things are dropped, kicked, or broken, or lost. These guys were clean, organized, and totally professional. If I ever need to move something or know someone who does, I will use or recommend this company.

Movin' Murdy was incredible to work with when moving apartments! The movers were super helpful & efficient. They even came with wardrobe storage, so my clothes did not get soaking wet in the rain during the move. I would recommend them to anyone needing assistance with moving - home, work, etc. They are top notch!

Exceptional service from the estimate to the day of the move. Hard to find a business that cares like this for its clients. Very well in how they staged everything in the move from the packing to the loading to the arrival to the unloading. Very knowledgeable and skilled in what they do... it is not just "muscle" but their wisdom and experience that moved us.

My husband and I recently hired Moving Murdy to move our furniture from our townhouse to our new home. I am extremely pleased with my experience with the company and would highly recommend them. Adam, Kyle and "Junior" (Rinaldo) were the three gentlemen who assisted with our move. They were prompt on arrival, kind and extremely professional. They took great caution and care when maneuvering our furniture through the narrow staircases of our townhouse. That same caution and care was again shown at our new house, a new construction project (i.e. gravel driveway, muddy yard, etc.). The move was completed in a timely manner and everything arrived in great shape. Overall, I am happy we went with Moving Murdy and would use them again for any future moving projects.

Mr. Murdy scheduled a day to come to my residence to get the estimate. He came on the scheduled day, said he would get back to me later that day with the estimate and would send me an email with a written estimate. I never heard from him that evening. He never returned my calls and I never heard from him again. I found that to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I hired another company that I found on Angie’s List, Steel City Movers, and they were absolutely fantastic! It worked out well in the end.

The men were professional and very friendly. Very good at quickly and efficiently moving furniture. Without making a mess! Highly recommended!
