Description of Work: Extremely professional and careful every step of the way. Crew picked up exactly on time, and delivered as close to on time as traffic allowed. Best part of this group is how truly helpful they were--I had whole living room area set, lots of furniture on an area rug, and decided the whole grouping needed to move up 3 feet. No problem! With a smile. This is just an example of many ways they went the extra mile (or 3 feet, whatever I needed).

Description of Work: We moved twice in 4 months and they moved us both times. We had a great experience both times! This is a family business and even the guys who weren't actually family members were family and it showed in their care for our move and the pride they took in their job and who they worked with. I highly recommend them and we will absolutely hire them again when we move next time.

Description of Work: Moving Murdy moved all the items from a three bedroom, finished basement (approximately) 2,800 sq. foot living space. They packed kitchen items, glass items, shrink wrapped dressers and desks so we did not have to empty them, brought special boxes for hanging straight from the closet, moved marble tables and electronic items; all of it without without a single scratch to the items or the house. | |Four people showed up exactly on time, brought two large trucks and worked straight for eight or nine hours. Cloth walkways were 'made' throughout the house so their shoes did not dirty any part of the floor. Incredibly well planned and executed move. | |Movin Murdy was recommended by a friend. Mr. Murdy came to the house, provided the initial estimate after a walk through of the house. Description of Work: Moved contents/furniture from 3 bedroom townhouse into house 20 miles away, including stopping at a storage space to place some of the items there that were not needed inthe house. The workers did have to work around some furnishing already present, and did a great job of maneuvering some items that were very difficult to place. They were friendly and professional throughout the move, and we found no damage to any of our items or possesions. Would definitely recommend them to others, and would use them for any subsequent moving service we required.

Description of Work: They gave me a quote and agreed to move me, then had to back out. I had a rush move (less than two weeks to plan). The Murdy's acted quickly and arranged for Joe Murdy to come over to give a quote. A job loading a van took longer than expected, yet he still showed up straight from a long day of work to keep his commitment to meet with me. He took time to answer my questions. Both Joe and his wife Terry have been kind, professional, and informative.
