The work was nicely completed, and I asked for plumber quality parts(not Home Depot) which he graciously purchased at the plumbing supply house. Equipment and supply boxes were taken away. I helped remove the heavy cast iron sink.The final cleanup was questionable, however. I asked if he was going to clean heavy debris from the new basin. He queried, "Me?" I said, "Yes, don't you think it's appropriate?" He said ok. The immediate work area under the basin was not swept and a two inch piece of cut PVC was left on the floor for me to discard. In addition, he handed me a sheet of paper upon which to write my Angie's List review, saying he needed it right then and there for his boss. I only signed it stating I needed time to process the work. I have employed many Angie's List contractors over the years and have never been asked to rush my review nor to provide a hard copy of it. Unusual behavior...

Had another company tell us we needed to dig up basement. Mr. Roofer evaluated better and offered more option and were able to clear out w/high pressure saving us their sands.

Scheduling was easy, very responsive to finding me an appt quickly even though there was no need. Lou, the plumber arrived on time and was polite. He started with trying to sell me a $99 plan for protection? and offerd me a whole folder with coupons,... I told him I was only interested in using my Angie's List coupon deal of replacing the hose faucet. I told him I was NOT interested in a frost proof set up, just an inexpensive faucet. He quoted me a price of $260 in addition to the $99 I spent on the coupon saying labor was not included, even though the coupon clearly stated labor was included. I showed him the Angie's List coupon on my computer and he called his boss, Michael. Michael said that he doesn't write the ads for Angie's List and is not responsible for what the ad says as he didn't write it. Since his company's name is the one offering the coupon he is indeed responsible for the content of the coupon whether or not he authored it - it was his responsibility to read it and make any necessary changes prior to it being posted on Angie's List. He was polite and wanted to "work with me" since I'm an Angie's List member and would write a review, but I declined the offer. I'm hoping Angie's Lists honors their 30 day refund guarantee as I purchased the coupon 2 days ago.
