"[member name removed] was told with the initial conversation on December 12th 2014 about remote starters that there were two options for remote starts for her vehicle: a 1 year warranty remote start and a lifetime warranty remote start. she chose the lifetime warranty remote start, was explained the price and scheduled for January 5th 2015. I spoke with [member name removed] on Saturday January 3rd 2015 confirming her appointment and she said she would be there. [member name removed] did not show for her January 5th appointment, she instead came in at her convenience on January 6th a day later. We hurried to accommodate her as our schedule was already full for the day and we had other clients waiting. We installed the lifetime warranty remote start that includes metal surrounded remotes, flashing her parking lights for starter confirmation and unlocks her door at point of remote start. When I proceeded to ring out [member name removed] she became irate saying she only wanted to pay for the 1 year warranty remote start. I reminded her of our initial conversation about the options and she became even more irate. I said we could split the difference and was on her way. She then decided to bash our company on the internet saying we ripped her off which could not be farther from the truth. After being contacted by Angie’s list for a refund, we AGAIN explained we could put the 1 year warranty system in and resolve the issue. After being told by Angie’s list the system does not come with all of the bells and whistles as the one she has, she again refused but still insisted on a refund. She contradicts herself to Angie’s list saying we never gave her any paperwork but a receipt, meanwhile it clearly states in her Google review that she has a “booklet” on the remote start. We did not try to scam or cheat this client, we only tired to accommodate her and then tried to resolve the situation by putting in the year warranty remote start in for her. She refused our offer. We heavily discounted the system she has in and decided to keep, but she still wants a refund. This person is a menace and is trying to rip our company off. She is bullying our business through online reviews and making threats via Angie’s list to hurt our reputation. Rest assured, we are a family owned business that has been around 40 years. Any business that would have this person walk through the door should proceed with caution."
