Alpha and Omega Painting Inc

I feel he's difficult to communicate with. Based on our communications we've had, I don’t have a the confidence the job would be followed through and completed in a timely manner. All of my other experiences with providers off Angie's List have been great, but this time I was disappointed.

After some lengthy back and forth with the service provider (my fault as well b/c it took a while to provide pictures, plus I was having additional work done outside the needed to be completed), the service provider told me of the additional cost for painting. I don't think the fine print included the additional cost for rails, but I may have missed it. Once I was provided the additional cost, it did not make sense to paint the deck when my contractor told me I needed to replace it anyway. The service provided agreed and instructed me to contact Angie's list for the refund.

I called last Wednesday, and received no response. So I called Angie’s List, and they were able to get ahold of them. I spoke to them a few days ago and he said he lost his phone and apologized. They said they would be here today between 8 and 9, but at 10 o’clock I called after no one had shown up, only to receive no answer and no return call yet.

Set up the date over message center and though a brief phone call for 6/24. Sent provider a text on 6/23 to see what time he would be coming the next day. Sent a few texts on the actual date he was supposed to be here and called a few times. Waited around all day and painter was a no show. Still have not had a response. Got my money back. Seems this is a pattern with this provider.

Workers did not always seem to be prepared for the job. Appointments that were made were often not kept. The job was not completely finished as promised. It was disappointing.

I contacted the company. Arranged 3 visits. 1 was a cancel, other 2 were No-Show.

Tom was friendly and easy to work with over the phone. His associate, Scott, came for the job. He was punctual, friendly, professional, and extremely efficient and neat with his work. Extremely pleased with the job. Would highly recommend them. We are about to hire Alpha & Omega to do another job for us!

Never showed up for the job. He has never contacted me. Doesn't honor his commitments.

May 5th came no one was there so I emailed around 10AM. He said something came up and they need to reschedule and I would be top priority. After not hearing from them in almost a month I emailed again and he said to call him and he never gave me his number??? Every communication was by email. I gave him my phone number many times so we could talk and he never called!! It is a disgrace. There is no way they can do the work they are saying for the amount of the special deals and I have heard that from 3 painters that they are lying!

There is no such thing as a "free lunch"! However, the deals offered by Alpha and Omega are pretty darn close. Why? Because the deals are phenomenal and their work is outstanding! When I told the sales rep at Sherwin Williams what I paid for three rooms he said it was "a steal". He was right because I got way more than what I paid for. I followed Tom's paint recommendation (cashmere), Scott did the painting and I am extremely pleased. Did I mention how neat Scott was? So, call Tom for your "free lunch" today!

Appointment was scheduled for between 8am and 9am on 6/10 and Tom did not show up or return my phone call.

I did not like he did not have samples to show of his work. I thought it was lazy that he wanted me to send pics of my windows instead of just scheduling a time to come out and see for themselves. when he called it was after 9pm well after business hours, totally unprofessional.

Contractor never called. Exchanged a few inconsequential messages

The provider was supposed to show up this morning and never came and never called. I called him around 9 am and it's now 11 and haven't received any contact from them.

I provided my contact information and the 3 suggest service dates. I got an automated response that simply stated Angie's List requires an immediate contact. I left my contact information and numerous message (via the Angie's List messages). The contractor did reply once to say they would call me that evening to schedule the work. They never called. My phone is always on, and rolls to voice mail if for any reason I don't answer it. It also tracks all incoming calls. The contractor has not kept their word and has refused to call, refused to honor the purchase, and now refuses to reply. I have nice and encouraging in each message, really hoping to get the work started - all to no avail. Tom was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He readily acknowledges that he's not super organized with scheduling, but he was easy to reach via text and always got back to me quickly. We decided to use another company because even with the Big Deal the other company was noticeably cheaper and we've used them in the past with good results.

They did an OK job. Tom and his crew were nice and courteous and finished the work in time. However, they didnt have the attention to detail that I expected. There were some drippings that they had to come back and fix

I scheduled Alpha and Omega Painting for May 23, 2014 to paint my kitchen. I spent the night before removing everything from the kitchen and walls to have the room ready for them. I left the house Friday morning at 6:30 so I could be at the paint store and back by 8:30, the scheduled time for them to arrive. I waited and waited... Finally I tried to call the number he had given me, but it was not a working number. I didn't hear from him until 5:00 when he gave a half-hearted apology and said he had stepped on a nail and the pain meds did him in. I am certain that someone could have let me know what was going on; chances are, he knew the night before that he wasn't coming but wasn't professional enough to let me know. Whether the story is true or not is of no consequence to me, as I believe a quick phone call, text, or email would have shown that he was a professional and cared about his customers. I will definitely not use him in the future; I'm still aggravated at how much work and expense I went to...for nothing. Would recommend others read the reviews and decide for yourself if he is worth taking the risk. I admittedly did not read them and am disgusted with myself that I hired him without seeing his pattern of unprofessionalism.

I understand this provider had a "B" rating but this wasn't a "B" rated job. This was a "D" rated job.

The service turned out terrific. I thought they were wonderful, and we were supposed to have 2 painters for one day, and they asked if it was okay for them to do 1 painter for one day. That worked out even better. The young man called Scott was amazing. He was hard working and terrific. I would recommend the company to anybody. The big deal was $425, and we did not pay anything additional. I can't say enough about him. I thought they were good, and efficient, he worked really hard. I will recommend him when I go to Book Club.

I wouldn't engage Alpha and Omega Painting again. Three people came to the house which was fine, one of the individuals didn't appear to do much at all but stand there so it diminished the time for which the other two are working because it was eight hours divided by three. They used hammers which was fine, to break the drywall and in the process broke a light fixture so it's just more irritating, it cost me more to replace that than do it myself. They had one person painting and then for the drywall repair, there were two people one of whom was actually working and the other was standing or perhaps observing, I'm not sure what he's doing but not a whole lot. I did not engage them for any further work so there was no additional cost other than the $199 for the big deal. They were several hours early so they were punctual. The only complain I have was for the work performed. The guys were nice and seemed professional.

It was very hard to get in touch with the provider. I left a message via phone and they never returned it. They only wanted to respond via email. They said it would be a month before they could schedule me and I cannot wait that long.

It took a while to get him out after a few cancelled times on his end. However when he did come out I got my $100 bucks worth and he did a very good job.
