Description of Work: I am pleased with the monthly service that I receive from the assigned technician. He is efficient and professional. However, when I call the main office for assistance with a change in schedule, the customer service representatives are not always professional or helpful. The last two times that I have called, I have spoken to some rude female representatives. Also, there is no opportunity to respond with "Maybe" when it comes to using the provider in the future.

Description of Work: I had the initial termite protection plan done many years ago, perhaps in 1994. In the following years, the protection plan stays in force with a yearly inspection and payment that is,as of this date, $318.00 for a yearly renewal. I have been unhappy with their inspection services which should occur on a yearly basis, but their service man does not show up at scheduled times and/or states that he was here and did the inspection of my home when, in fact, he has not. Due to my work schedule, I have no choice but to agree to an outside inspection only. On the latest "inspection", the service man came on 4/24/14 when I was not at home and placed 6 "termometers" around the exterior of my home to monitor for termite activity. I had to call and ask what this meant. If it were not for the fact that I spent a good deal of money to begin this process, I continue to pay $318.00/year to keep my "Ultimate Protection Guarantee". I can only hope that this will take care of any future problems. I deal with the Terminix office in Plymouth Meeting, PA. 19462

Description of Work: Provided exterior pest control around the perimeter of the house. Have used them for years with excellent results ( NO "bugs" in the house ). We have a regular service program and we do not even have to be home.

Description of Work: I've been using Terminix for years, and have always been happy with my service. I use them for general pest control, and my house has been relatively pest free ever since. On rare occasions I have needed them to come out in between scheduled maintenance, and they immediately came to my property and implemented proper and effective treatment. All service providers have been very friendly and more than happy to discuss your needs and concerns. I would highly recommend Terminix.

Description of Work: I purchased a termite insurance plan. each year Terminix advises me they have scheduled a visit, which is very easy to change. They have always been prompt and professional.

Description of Work: They did a routine treatment that I have quarterly. I always have issues with their scheduling system. The price also keeps going up as well.

Used them only one time, b/c they wanted to get us into a contract for recurring service, which I did not want; they seemed pricey, I remember | |I cannot rate the punctuality, responsiveness or professionalism, because I do not remembe, but the problem was addressed.

Description of Work: Inspected the premises for any termite infestation. None was found. Called them previously when I had flying insects. They came out immediately and told me they were not termites. Had them protect my property 6 years ago and no termites since. The cost above was for yearly protection and inspection, plus insurance for any future termite damage.

Description of Work: Worst customer service ever! I have been trying for over two years to get Terminix to do its automated scheduling for quarterly visits in March/June/Sept/Dec. For some reason, the centralized Terminix system (or the idiots who run it) doesn't seem capable of this. It always schedules our visits for a month too early, and often sends out a technician even after we have informed them of their continued error. We send the technician away, tell them to come back in a month, and we get a bill for services even though none were provided. Then the actual service call a month later is treated as a special request for additional services. I've been promised at least five times that Terminix will fix this, and that I will get a call from the manager of the local office. None of the promises are kept. The only reason I haven't cancelled is because the services (when finally completed on the proper schedule) are perfectly acceptable, and we haven't ever been pursued by Terminix for any of the incorrect charges.

Description of Work: We had the house resided and found massive terminate damage which the previous owner disclaimed and said was repaired and it was not. Terminix had all the old paperword from 2009 prior to my purchase of house which included diagrams and signatures from previous owners that it was repaired. The previous owner deceased, had no help with repairs. Did have a fantastic contractor for the siding and he made all structural repairs at a very reasonable cost, Tim McBrien couldn't have been better.

Description of Work: Our service provider-whom we have had for at least 19 years-notified us of the day and time of his service visit. This is after we received notification from the company itself. Our provider performed his regular outdoor and indoor service. As you can see, we have used Terminx for a very long time, and have been very satiefied with them and our provider/

Description of Work: Avoid Terminix because they give you "free" estimates just to try to up sell you services that are completely not required! After a track record of problem free termite assessments, they came out this year to tell me that we had wood dust, evidence of a POTENTIAL problem. Only problem is Northeastern termites don't create wood dust. Maybe Terminix should try looking that up on the FREE Internet! We subsequently PAID 2 small
