The work that he performed was great! The customer interaction of what I wanted to be done was great with all my specifications. He was prompt to communicate and to get back to me. He provided a great value for the service!

Paul is wonderful. He had a prompt response, he showed up for the estimate appointment on time, and was flexible with his schedule to allow the project to happen in our time frame. All work (popcorn ceiling texture removal) was done to our satisfaction.

My experience was terrible. The work that Mr. Tedesco said he was going to do, didn't do to it. Mr. Tedesco was very unprofessional. I am very disappoint with them. We never going to used them again.

We hired PGT Construction to do two services: coat and cover the cracks in the driveway and cement the driveway from the street to the pavement (however the contractor inserted in his estimate to cement the “apron” which we were foolish enough not to further inquire what the “apron” meant). Regarding having our driveway sealed and coated, Paul Tedesco explained that the holes in the black top would be covered and should not collect rainwater (to avoid the rainwater in the ripples was the main reason we wanted the driveway coated). He explained to my wife and me that the holes in the driveway would definitely be taken care of. The holes were not taken care of; the holes were not patched. In fact the company that did the driveway left a pamphlet stating that their job is only to seal the surface (which is a thin coating on the driveway) and is not responsible for any holes or ripples on the surface. The firm that did the sealing finished the job in an hour. We had a friend who used the same company that did our driveway sealing and that friend paid $125 for the service. We were charged $295 dollars to have the work done and the work was not done as we asked for it. Unfortunately I paid the contractor and I had no recourse but to accept his dismissive explanations saying that the holes were filled. When we complained to Paul Tedesco, he said that we should bring any problems to the company that did the job. We explained that he is the Prime Contractor but he insisted in talking to the company that did the seal coating. As for removing and replacing the driveway "apron," my wife and I were led to believe that the apron and the curb would be taken care of. Only the apron was taken care of. The apron does not include the curb. As a consequence of this, we have the only new driveway in the neighborhood which does not have a new curb. Guests and neighbors ask us why the curb is a different color than the driveway and what happened? We explain we got duped. After talking to other contractors that do the service we discovered that Paul Tedesco costing is much higher than what other contractors would charge. PGT Construction’s over-billing has been our unfortunate lesson. It is absolutely critical to get a second and third opinion and get a very clear understanding what a contractor is offering. As a result of the above, I recommend that someone not use PGT Construction. PGT Construction is only a general contractor that uses subcontractors to do the work. When I called around for companies to provide the repair to our blacktop and cement the driveway from the street to the pavement, he was the first person to respond (and he is very friendly and affable). In fact we were amazed at how quickly he responded. Now we know why....

Paul Tedesco PGT Construction is highly recommended for general contracting work both interior and exterior. He installed new kitchen countertops and backsplash in our unit, and constructed a pathway outside. Paul is reliable, and has a hands on approach to jobs to make sure the end result is a success. also he is located in Newtown Square and is prompt in response and followup.

Paul is meticulous and thorough in his work. He carefully studied a specific problem I had with a old commercial dryer vent in a stone wall and created a great solution that allows for light in a dark basement while using a new dryer vent connection. He's helped me clean up construction messes made by others. I recommend him highly and will use his services again.
