Dennis did show up for the Saturday work. However, a couple weeks later when I called him for an estimate for some other work and left a message with his service, he never called back. I tried the next week and still no call back. After being overcharged for an easy job, he could not return a call about an estimate for future nonemergency work. Not very professional.

For general service, good will and efficiency, they were remarkable.

Exellent experience from beginning to end (and all told, this was about a week). Dennis came out to have a look at the old water heater, which had not failed yet, but at 12 years of age was nearing the end of its useful life. He made his recommendations and his associate was able to return the following week to replace the unit, as well as install an expansion tank, tray, and shut-off alarm. He also replaced the valves. Everything was done quickly and professionally and the price was considerably lower than another plumbing company we had used before. We will definitely call Hinkle's for future HVAC and plumbing needs.

oilHinkles removed our old oil boiler and installed a high efficiency gas boiler system for our heat and hot water. The old materials including the fuel oil storage tank were removed promptly and without any mishaps. They brought an electric hot water heater with them to hook up so that we would have hot water during the three days that the whole process was supposed to take. The workers arrived promptly each day and were ready to answer any questions. The office was very communicative and helpful answering questions leading up to the installation. Everything was left in good order after the three days and so far we are very happy with the new equipment.

Our house was built in 1789 and has been added onto a number of times. When we purchased it, it had been abandoned and vandalized. Not only did almost all the pipes and fixtures need to be replaced, but it was clear that someone without extensive plumbing knowledge had done a lot of work themselves. We hired numerous plumbers to work on our house, but had not been happy enough with any of them to warrant a second call. Then, someone recommended Dennis Hinkle. Dennis was a pleasant surprise, and we wouldn't dream of using anybody else anymore. He and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, trust worthy, clean, on time and sympathetic. Whenever we have an emergency, he comes out the same day - even if it is late at night after he has finished his other jobs. He not only answers all of our questions, but he provides us with options and explains the pros and cons of each. His staff is so trust worthy, I am perfectly comfortable having them enter and work in my home without being there with them. They have never made or left a mess for us to clean up. Last, but not least, his prices are significantly lower than any other plumber we have ever hired.
