They did a very good job, they were always on time and completed their entire work. I am very pleased with them, because they even cleaned up the mess when they were done.

I found Palat landscaping through the internet and contacting them. Jason Palat got in touch with me and we set up a time that was beneficial to us both. Jason came to my home and I informed him of the area which I needed a retaining wall. He took measurement s and stated that he needed to sit down and evaluate the cost of the project. He called and e-mailed within the next couple of days with two different quotes. One for verslok walls and one for railroad tie walls. I opted for the railroad ties since that was closer to my budget. I then asked him about a fall cleanup for my yard and he added the price to the wall quote. Jason started the project on a Friday and the project was completed both projects the following Thursday to my satisfaction. Upon inspecting the projects I could not find any thing wrong and I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend Palat Landscaping to anyone who asks. I though the whole experience was fair and professionally done.

I called Jason for an estimate. I left a message on his voice mail, and he returned my call within two days. (while he was away on vacation nonetheless) We scheduled a time for him to come and do an estimate, Jason gave me an estimate that was $1100 lower than the next lowest estimate for a versa lok wall. We sent him our down payment and he said that he would get back to us with a time to come and complete the work. A few weeks later our wall was finished and looks amazing.

I hired Jason to re-vamp the majority of my back yard which contained a deteriorating shed (with electricity and gas) and koi pond. Originally, the plan was to have a versa-lok wall across half the hillside and along one side. My back yard backs up to a hillside with some major water drainage issues, so as digging continued, we were able to discover that a.) the original drainage system with terra cotta pipe was destroyed, b.) the replacement drainage system that was installed ~ 20 years ago was completely clogged. Jason understood that I was out working ~ 60 hours a week, including occasional international and domestic travel, so he took care of the situations when a plumber sub-contractor was required, or another technician was needed to assess the potential movement of the outside AC unit, and the discovery of a gas line that I didn't know was in my yard. Long story short, Jason aided in avoiding the costly replacement of the old terra cotta drainage system by allowing my yard to drain to the opposite side of the yard. The job took a longer (~4 week) time because I agreed to allow the project to straddle an out-of-state trip for him to be the best-man at a friend's wedding, and we also had several days where he was waiting around for me to arrive home before sundown to assess certain situations and advise on changes or directions forward. He was even kind enough to come over to my house for advice directly after his daughter's birthday party one weekend, to help me visualize some of the items we spoke about over the phone as we walked around and pointed at things together to make sure we were on the same page. Here and there, there were portions where he informed me that I could save some money. On one item, I chose to still have him do the work for the additional expense, and on another, I put in a little of my own sweat equity for a weekend, and he was able to finish it off.End result of the work mentioned above: my back yard is now smooth, clean, properly draining, and ready for Phase 2 of the transformation next summer: taming the steep hillside beyond the rock wall. I will be calling Jason Palat for that job.

They were very nice and professional. They came on time and even worked under the rain. They were excellent.

I was very satisfied with them. The work they did was excellent.

Overall, they did a good job of shaping the shrubs and cleaning up. They were unable to spray the weeds due to rain. We were a little confused when the bill arrived with the remaining balance. The balance was higher than we expected and sales tax was listed on the bill. After talking to Jason, he said that he charged for using weed killer but our weeds were still alive and well. He willingly removed the charge for the weed killer and the sales tax. We would have appreciated a phone call to let us know when and if the weed spaying would be completed.

They charged a lot to reseed and everything. They were on time. They were all friendly and nice. The work was performed well. Their price was a little high. They were pretty responsive. I probably would use them in the future if I needed to.

The grasscutting service is fine. At times, need to contact him to let him know his guys need to cut the grass. I think it's due to his growing service. Was disappointed he did not do a last cut on the lawn before fawn and I feel his mulching could be thicker

My yard is quite big. He came when he said he was going to come. He did a thorough job. I asked him about trimming a certain area the first time he came out, and he did that. He was good and he was professional. I will call him again.
