Description of Work: Gerry and his team are great to work with. We had hardwood floor installed on our first floor. Living room dinning room and foyer. My wife and I went to their show room no less that 8 times to look at samples and ask questions. The team was helpful and patient with us... We can not say enough good this about the Service the quality of the work and the quality of the Hardwood floors - Homerwood brand. Thank you!!!!

Description of Work: Ed Leaf and Amy Murray of Leaf Floor Covering gave me great customer service. To start with, for insurance purposes I needed an estimate for replacing the exact style and quality of carpet that I had in my basement. The carpet had been installed by a previous owner, so I had no records. We had a water problem, and my insurance company needed a good assessment for replacement. The first company I tried working with did not accurately represent the quality of the carpet I had, so I called Leaf Flooring and they were able to come out quickly and write up an estimate to match my existing carpet model and style. My insurance accepted the Leaf estimate, so I was able to proceed with replacement. I gave serious consideration to changing the style of flooring in my basement. Ed Leaf and Amy Murray were able to give us great information and many choices to consider. They were very patient as I brought sample after sample back and forth to my home. Eventually, my husband and I decided to simply replace with the latest version of the same carpet we originally had. Leaf Flooring then did a great job removing the old carpet and pad and installing new carpet and pad in the entire basement. Ed and Amy provided excellent service and worked very well to accommodate my schedule. We are very pleased with the service we received from Leaf Flooring.

 + 1 moreI thought they had a very fair pricing. They were very competitive. They were in the ballpark of 3-4 other companies; I think they were even better than them. I thought they were very professional and very responsive to any of my question. I had one little problem and they immediately came back. They corrected the problem with the moulding. They were very nice and very responsive. Their quality was excellent. I will use them again in the future. I have already recommended to other people.

 + -1 moreShow room experience was great, no pressure and very helpful (with very helpful long silences, so that I could think). Was able to take home the samples and review them for several days in my home before calling to have someone come out and measure and provide an estimate. I was told 2 to 3 weeks before the carpet came in, but it was closer to 4 weeks and the installers were wonderful! They came promptly at 9AM on the scheduled day and introduced themselves (very professional). They listened to my concerns and advised how they would handle the cut from my dining room to the hallway carpet (which was to stay). When they took up the old carpet, the previous flooring was still there, old faux wood tiles, which were starting to come up, so they removed them, which I thought was fantastic! They were very careful with my furniture and when I gave directions about how to put it back, they were great about it. I felt very comfortable with the two gentlemen who installed the carpet.
Description of Work: I purchased Shaw carpeting for my living room and dining room for my condo, so the space was not that big. The job was to remove the existing carpet and padding and take it away and install the new carpet over new padding.

 + 0 moreMy dog ended up shredding the carpet right where it meets our tile, so I was asking for someone to come patch up the carpet. They responded immediately and gave me a great estimate, so the repair man came the next day. He examined the state of the carpet and told me that it will be better if he installed a trim to cover the gap in carpeting (which is less obvious than patching). He also installed a trim on my other carpet at no extra charge since he was able to do it all within an hours work. Once he was done, he even swept the tile to clean up and the end result was beautiful! When people come over and I tell them about our dog's accident, they don't know where he even did it, because everything looks so natural. Such a friendly and responsive company!

 + 1 moreI had Leaf Flooring do my work because I was satisfied with the workmanship and product guidance I received on two jobs previously done for me by them. I wanted quality work done by experienced installers so I didn't "shop around" for estimates--but I believe that this was competitively priced. A number of the installers doing my work had been with Leaf for years. There was an unusual twist with this installation in that the hardwood product wasn't laying quite right, so the crew pulled up the flooring they started and consulted the manufacturer who replaced the product. This didn't take long. The job was completed and I am confident that it is a quality installation and done with quality products. It was a good experience, and I like dealing with family-run businesses.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of old carpeting, padding, parquet, and linoleum flooring, and then replaced with new hardwood flooring and new carpet.
