Leaf Floor Covering

Dealing with leaf was a pleasure. The salespeople in their store were extremely helpful and provided a lot of information. They were very good at answering our questions and discussing alternatives as well. We decided to go with a higher priced line of carpeting because our family room get so much wear. Leaf arrived on the day agreed and at the time we expected them. The workers were courteous and very professional as they went about their job. They were also pretty quick in completing the installation, and removing the old carpeting and cushion. The new carpeting has been in place for over 5 months and we've been delighted with it. Our daughter likes to sit on the floor and she's told us that the new carpeting is much more comfortable that the previous one. It looks awesome, too. I wouldn't hesitate to use Leaf again in the future.

We had looked for tile extensively at many locations before we found exactly what we were looking for at Leaf. Amy was very helpful, and the price was excellent! We ordered the tile (for master bath reno) & checked that off the list. Unfortunately, we got a call a week & 1/2 later saying that the size we ordered was no longer available. (The person who called also told my husband they had called & spoken to someone the week before, but since they didn't talk to me or my husband, they must have called the wrong number.) It took us another week to rule out other options elsewhere before we decided to go back to Leaf & order our 2nd choice size, in the tile we liked best. Several days later, we got ANOTHER call; that size was no longer available either! They apologized for the "communication error" -- evidently nothing had changed on the manufacturer's end since the first phone call (that we didn't get). The only remaining size wouldn't work for our project, so we were effectively back at square one, having lost several weeks. Unfortunately, we had also already returned the other samples that we needed to coordinate with the floor tile, so the whole situation was time-consuming & stressful. Evidently Amy had been out of the office when all of this occurred. However when she returned, she did everything possible to help us find another tile that would work, & when we found something elsewhere, she was quick to issue a refund. It was just an unfortunate set of circumstances. The bottom line is, double-check with them a day or two after placing your order, to make sure it went through successfully.

When installing flooring, the wood has to be delivered several days ahead of time and placed inside the house in order to "cure". The men who delivered our wood from Leaf were careful to place the 32 plus cartons in a area that would not disrupt our daily schedule. ( in other words, we could move around the cartons). Randy, our installer , arrived promptly at 8 a.m. on Tuesday of the installation week ... and except for an hour lunch break, worked straight through until 5 p.m. The job was completed in 3 1/2 days. Furniture was moved back into position; He took all working tools, even wood dust with him and actually dusted the floors before he left. Very professional.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. They have a huge selection of flooring and knowledgable staff to help select the best flooring for your needs. Measurements and estimations were done by Mr. Leaf himself. Mr.Leaf was very personable and professional. His installers are employed by Leaf, they do not use contracters.The installeers were punctual, professional and accomodating. The entire house was completed in three days and the final result was beautiful. We were extremely pleased and will use them again.

Before installing the new carpet, Jerry and Josh tightened the entire sub-floor with screws, thereby eliminating existing squeaks and preventing their return.?The room is silent and the carpet is beautiful.? I have trusted Leaf Floor Covering with several rooms and steps in my home and would highly recommend them. They are customer-oriented and their work is clean, neat and professional.?Thanks, again!!

Service was professional and personable during every encounter from shopping to installation. The selection of available flooring was outstanding in both range and quality. Leaf was extremely accomodating of our schedule in installing the materials. The floors look beautiful. There were a couple of minor touch-ups that were needed and they were made immediately and readily. One of the owners called after the job to make sure that everything was satisfactory.

It went perfect. The people at the store were responsive and educated us on the various types of tile and the install process. The Installer was on time every day and was very neat while he worked. The tile is great.

I am very satisfied with Leaf Floor Covering. I began by visiting their showroom in Malvern, PA where a representative was helpful in the selecting of the product for my new flooring at home. An in home visit to measure and a written estimate followed in timely fashion. The work was performed as scheduled and completed to my satisfaction without any problem.

Was given the start date and approximate number of days. Who was to be at my home and what time they would be arriving. They arrived on time, cleaned up daily, answered questions, explained the following days events and worked around my families needs. I recommend them highly and would use them again for flooring. The finished floor is absolutely beautiful!

They were just very courteous and very friendly. Also, their prices were reasonable. They weren't overpriced, but they weren't also the cheapest. I could have gone to other company for cheaper price, but they were prompt in talking to us. They came out, and they were very professional. Their installer was also very professional. When we go to do the rest of the house, we'll definitely use them again. I thought, they were very good!

Showed up on time. Kept work site clean and straightened. Installation went very well.

I went to several other flooring companies but settled on Leaf flooring mainly due to the salesperson's, Amy's, superior knowledge about hardwood floors. She was very patient and educated me about hardwood flooring compared to the other stores I went to: "You like the look of this? We can ring you up right away." I ended up choosing a high-quality hardwood floor that should last 50 years, and it was installed quickly and professionally. The subfloor was squeaky prior to installation, and they took care of that for me with extra screws prior to installation. The floor is completely solid and soundless now. There were some minor installation afterwards with the threshold and they came back and took care of that right of away. I will definitely use them next time I need another floor project.

This company is what I dream about. They do what they say, prompt, affordable, professional, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough nice things about them.

All my dealings with Leaf carpet were great. I would highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again when I'm ready to carpet the remainder of my home.

After calling and determining that I needed to go in to meet with the sales person to pick a carpet for the estimate to be done, I made my way to the showroom and was able to get a rough estimate I was able to order the carpet and schedule time with their estimator. He was prompt and worked quickly. The estimate came back quickly. Once I accepted the estimate, my carpet was ordered, Now, it had arrived within the time expected, but I needed to delay the installation to allow time to complete some painting, they were quite accommodating. When the time came for the installation, the crew showed up on time. All were polite and clean. They introduced themselves and I showed them the job site. There had been a piece of information not conveyed to the crew about some ladder work needed for some bullnoses over an open area. The crew leader was able to deal with that by leaving that work until the second day for which they would bring a ladder. As I showed them they house I asked they be careful as I just had the house painted for selling. I am pleased to say there were only about 4 small scuffs. This was amazing given the dirty old carpeting being pulled, furniture being moved and new carpet installed. The crew worked fast and were polite about answering any questions I had. The installation was done and the house was back in order. Very good work and the crew lead took the time to answer my questions on the walk through. I specifically asked if he needed to re-stretch the carpet later, he said no because they use a heavier duty tackless strip which let's them pull it rght the first time. I will also say I am very happy with Leaf's standards of not selling lower grade padding and carpet, IOW their contractor grade is a cut above the usual. This means they are not cheapest but they are a cut above.

We've moved to a home in need of a bit of TLC. Leaf has been, by far, the best vendor we have hired. They were exactly on time, polite, knowledgeable, fast and thorough. They looked over everything and found areas we might not have caught. Fabulous!

Everything went smoothly. The worker were timely, tidy and pleasant.

The repair was relatively small, but it went very smoothly. They were professional and did a good job.

Approximately 3 months after installation of carpet in March 2012, loops were coming loose from the carpet. After complaining to the business owner of the poor quality of the carpet, the business had a quality test of the carpet done. The business owner was contacted multiple times after the quality report was completed to ask for a copy of the final report. Finally, three months after the quality testing was done and only after asking mulitple times for the report, the final report was sent to me. The report alleges that there were no quality defects. I contacted the business owner who then offered to pay for half of the cost of the carpet and when I stated that I felt his business should cover the entire cost of the carpet, he declined. I then pointed out that I did not initially complain back in March 2012 that the carpet was installed poorly in one area of the family room where it did not meet the baseboard fully. I felt that he should replace the carpet based on that fact alone. He then blamed the baseboard for the problem. After I became increasingly unhappy with his responses, I agreed to discuss the 50% offer with my husband. After discussion with my husband, I called the owner back 3 times and left messages for him each time stating that I would like to have further discussions with him. His employees would ask for my name with each phone call which made me believe that he was screening his calls and deliberately not taking my phone calls. He then sent me a letter stating that I never contacted him regarding his 50% offer; therefore, he was then withdrawing the offer. This was an obvious lie because I left him 3 previous messages. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. I feel that this business should never receive any further Angie's List Super Service Awards.

This company was amazing. They were extremely professional all the way. They are the best. They wanted to be certain I was happy with their work. Ed the owner is a wonderful guy to talk to, they were so easy to work with.

Due to water damage my living/dining area needed to be replaced. Of the six home visits, four resulted in recommendations/estimates. Leaf had no competition-clearly number one on completive pricing, INTEGRITY, and promptness.. Gerry answered all questions and made sure I understood the pros and cons of all my options. The work was completed on schedule and looks beautiful.

Great experience from start to finish. In the store they were very helpful and informative. Never felt pushed toward a more expensive option. They explained all the different options perfectly. Quick turnaround time from the measurement to the quote. Workers arrived on time, actually a little early, and immediately got to work. They did a beautiful job and it looks great! Everyone was pleasant from start to finish and the quality of work is fantastic. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone!

We had carpet installed in two rooms. The crew showed up on time and worked steadily during the installation. They were courteous and thorough.
