Terren Landscapes

We hired Terren back in 2008 to help make our landscape a little “nicer.” Honestly, we had no idea what we really wanted but their design team came out, listened to our thoughts, mapped out our property, and put together a design/build proposal that transformed our landscape from an unwalkable, unusable hillside into a small, private park with walking paths, lush shrubbery and flowering plants, water features, and cozy seating areas. They handled the entire process from planning, permitting, and inspections with patience, aplomb, a true professionalism. The finished product was completed with minimal hassle, on schedule, within budget, and wildly exceeded our expectations. Since then, we have been enjoying their beautiful work as they have continued to maintain every inch of our landscape from weeding, mulching, leaf blowing and removal, water-runoff and drainage solutions, repairing and maintaining stonework, power washing, landscape lighting repair and maintenance, pond maintenance, decorative seasonal plantings—the list goes on and on. All of their staff is professional, respectful and a pleasure to have on our property. The representative came over to see the property , was late by 15 minutes, didn't spend much time, didn't see the whole property, said they would come over with someone else another day then will give me estimate. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for the estimate but in the meantime I decided to ask a different company for a quote. The prices of Terren Landscapes were about 30% more than the prices I got from that other company. I wondered why? since the job they have to do is the same. Would like to hear other people opinions.

The design work was excellent. It was prepared professionally. I received a drawing of the design along with a booklet containing photos of all of the plants that were to be used in the design along with a description of all of the plants. Particular emphasis was placed on a design that used deer resistant plants (if such a thing really exists). This booklet is extremely useful for all of my landscaping around my home. I would love to have Terren do all of the installation, but theinstallation cost was a bit too high for me. I may have them do part of the installation next year.
