Murphy's Dryer Vent Service

Description of Work: The owner, Kevin, is friendly & easygoing. The only surprise was that the lint was not vacuumed & taken away but blown into the attic. This may be normal but we were not familiar with standard practice. To boot, they are funny so that always helps.

Description of Work: Called for vent cleaning as previous owners have not done same. I used the cheaper vent cleaners in the past and they were not the best. Kevin and Josh ended up having to replace vent as vent in there was not connected correctly and up to code. Did an excellent job. Quick, clean, friendly. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Kevin Murphy gave me an estimate on the phone and was able to schedule my vent two days later. Kevin & Josh called 15 minutes before their arrival and were on time. They explained what they needed to do and the work was completed within 45 minutes. They were friendly, and nice, and gave me tips on reducing lint buildup in the system. I have already recommended them to family members and neighbors. Cleaning the dryer vent system is something that I had put off and put off. I wouldn't have if I knew how quick & thorough it can be.

Description of Work: We had water coming down through our ceiling in our guest bedroom and thought it was plumbing. When we opened the ceiling and realized it was the dryer vent, I called whoever could come the soonest! Kevin and his partner came the next day, worked me into their schedule over the holidays, and fixed the problem in no time at all. Very satisfied and appreciative of the work.

Description of Work: We purchased a new dryer and the check vent light would come on. Reading the manual for our new dryer it recommended having a metal vent instead of the stretchy aluminum foil type that we had. We wanted it done right and quick. So, I called and left a message on Sat night. I received a call back on Sunday, which was great. I wasn't really expecting a call back until Monday. But they were able to get me in that Monday. They installed a proper metal vent and cleaned it as there was some lint build up at the very end of the tube as it reached outside. They were very professional, knowledgable and friendly. We will definitely use them for any future needs.

Description of Work: They were completely honest with me and after checking my vent told me that there was nothing wrong that they could see. Only charged me for part of a service call. There were 2 men and they couldn't have been more professional or helpful.

Description of Work: Arrived on time. Took the time to determine the problem. Solved the problem in a timely manner. Unfortunately he told us that we are really out of his area of service so the next time we need dryer vent cleaning we will have to find someone closer. Pity because he was so good.
