Description of Work: I needed to have my kitchen painted, including all cabinets and stairway to basement. Jay promptly returned my call for an appt.and estimate, was professional and friendly and got back to me with a price in a timely manner. Although my kitchen is small, this job was labor intensive due to being mostly brushwork.I also asked him to paint some paneled areas and his price was nearly half of another I had gotten.He arrived and left my home promptly each day of the job and also kept me up to date on what he had done and when he would be finished. He left everything clean and in good condition when finished. I will certainly be calling him again when I need more painting done.

Description of Work: I finished my basement and the dry wall needed to be primed and painted as well as the trim. I also had my deck painted.

Description of Work: He is probably an excellent painter. However, I purchased the work in early September and he isn't available to do it until November! Irritated. I hired someone else in the meantime. I will find another area in the house to paint for November. |He hasn't done the work yet so I can not evaluate.

Description of Work: Jay came out to give us a quote for interior painting. We want to have our hallway, living room and also to patch some cracks in the drywall. His estimate was the most reasonable of the ones we received.

Description of Work: Jay came out to quote painting 2 bathrooms. Despite the deal being over between my contact and the day he quoted, the quote he provided honored the labor pricing that was included in the Deal. He was up-front during his visit that his schedule was booked out three months. Unfortunately this was too late for us. He provided a great price and was flexible on whether or not we wanted to purchase the paint to further control costs.

Description of Work: Confirmed the appointment on 04-02-2013. The painter, Jay Conlen, will show up at my house between 5:00PM and 5:30PM on 04-03-2013. But, he called me at 05:10PM the next day to cancel the work. That's ashamed! He should call me in the morning. I was totally ready to meet him. That's not social from his part! So far, I had many bad experiences from the providers linked to Angie's list's.
