I have used my fireplace unlined for 32 years (I know, not a good idea). It was suggested that I line it. Initially, the company response was good. The lining was installed, and they were paid $4200. I have not been able to use my fireplace since the lining was installed. Smoke enters my home and sets off the smoke alarms. They came back once and claimed it was my chimney cap. They removed the cap, but still smoke filled the house. I think it may have something to do with the damper replacement. After the second attempt at repair, they no longer respond to my calls, and I cannot use the fireplace. Do not use this company.

After several attempts for chimney cleaning a rep came out on June 4, 2021. The representative stated my chimneys needed repointing, flashing and caps. I paid for the service only to find in the beginning of Feb 2022 that my boiler cap was placed lower than the drafts from the other chimneys were sending a back draft to the chimney that my boiler was attached to. This was told to me from another representative from this same company. He took video and gave me estimates for repairs to the shoddy workmanship of another representative from this company. My chimney caps were not secured properly, the flashing was smeared on by hand and 2 chimney caps fell off. One crashing to the ground in my back yard. Could have killed someone. (3 story home) Called, complained they sent a 3 rep to secure caps. They failed to address the cap that was put on too low. They failed to address the flashing that was so thin you can see the cement behind it. I waited 22 days. They made appointments and failed to keep them. They do not respect customers time. Please look at their reviews on Google. They have many complaints of failing to respond, missed appointments and poor workmanship. Beware of thus company.

The phone service for setting up the appointment was excellent and they came to the house at the exact time and date that was scheduled., I will use Shamrock in the future for the annual cleaning of my wood stove liner. Very friendly guys and the quality of the work seems to be good........although hard to fully assess a chimney flue. Only problem was wide variation in pricing. I have two fireplaces that are the same size. When they cleaned, I asked them to put a damper on the one which they did for $175. Several months later I called them back to put a damper on the second. Foolishly didn't ask for an estimate assuming it would be the same or in the ballpark of the first. Bill was $600. For a damper. Insane price. They're friendly, responsive, do good work, but if you're going to use them, get a quote in writing.

They came and unblocked one chimney and replaced the cap that others looked at and just left. Installed a new cap on the chimney for my fireplace that I wasn't able to use for the last 4 years. Anthony is very knowledgeable and is awesome at his job!
