Description of Work: Our stucco chimney was cracking. Chris and his team gave us an estimate for re-surfacing the entire chimney--with two different products at a fair price range. He was in good communication with us when the job had some delays due to finishing up a prior job (always keeping up in the loop by phone and email). His team did an excellent job, very good quality, cleaned up perfectly and the chimney looks great.

They even added some extra detail at the top that made it that much better! We will definitely use them again with other projects. Chris was willing to work with us on price and payments.

His crew were there the day he said they would be, they were vey courteous with my landscaping and very professional and polite. They completed the job on time with no surprises, and my yard looked cleaner when the left. A top notch company, and my chimney doesn't leak anymore. Highly recommend

Description of Work: Chris McNamara was on time with his appointment. He was able to give me a quote right away which was impressive. I got a good price and plus he gives out a warranty and a discount on his price. His crew was on time ground down the mortar and did fine pointing in two days. They did a good clean up job after they were done. I would recommend Chris for any other masonry jobs for my house.I referred his business to two of my neighbors who need fine pointing.

Description of Work: Chris gave me an estimate on repairing two large chimneys in my 1885 home, both of which are in terrible shape. On the plus side, he came promptly, got up high on a perilously slopped roof to take photos, and sent a professional written estimate in quick time. On the negative side, his suggestions were not consistent with advice I received from other contractors -- his plans were less aggressive (no rebuilding) but his price was 3 to 4 times higher. His estimate was so exorbitant that I question whether he was really interested in the business. More than $30 k to do less work than others were willing to do for a third or the price.

Description of Work: I had my chimneys rebuilt my another contractor the year before hurricane Irene. As a result of Irene, I had water damage to my ceilings. I was not comfortable with the information being provided to me by the original contractor in regards to the casue of the leak. I want to make sure the leak is fixed before repairing the ceilings. I wanted another opinion and Chris was good enough to come out despite the fact that there was not a job to bid on. He provided prompt service and gave an honest assessment of the situation. I was particularily impressed with the fact that Chris was very professional in regards to discussing the work of the other contractor (I think many times in these situations it is easy to criticize the work of others, I thought his remarks were fair in regards to the other contractor.)

Description of Work: We hired this company to tuck point our chimney and repair it. They repaired our front porch.

Description of Work: He did some masonry. He repaired bricks that had been eaten away and coated them with a special paint.

Description of Work: We have an older home (1925) with a dark basement whose walls are stone and mortar. It was humid and the mortar was flaking. He "parged" the walls, putting a plaster coating on them.
