Description of Work: They gave me a competitive price and I agreed to have them do the job. They were supposed to start at the end of June. Then they were supposed to start after July 4th. I did not hear from them for weeks. Then after I emailed them numerous times, they said they were going to start in the next couple of weeks. This was about a month ago. I finally gave up and called another contractor. A couple days later, Tedesco emailed me and said they were going to start this week. Sorry, too late!

Description of Work: Paved driveway: Sal Tedesco performed the work (as well as 2 other drives in our neighborhood). He did a nice job. Because we had an existing driveway, a 6-8" cut-back of the parimeter of the drive was required. The drive was then paved overtop (2")the old. |After 10 months (thru the winter) we discovered that the entrance of the driveway cracked the width of the drive at the 6-8" cut-back location/mark. |I called to advise of issue.. received a return call from Sals replacement, cant remember his name, Dave maybe? He said he was running it, maybe bought it I cant remember.. He made some convincing remarks that he could heat it up and meld it together to fix.. I woud lnever see it again. Anyway, we never saw him.. even after 2 more of the same attempts with his promise. | |We're living with crack, using crack fillers and materials to keep water out so it doesn't get worse. Seems to be holding with an acrylic sealant filler.. I treat it every year, and got the drive sealed. This is more know of driveways that I wanted know, but.. | |IF YOU USE THEM (PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE) JUST MAKE SURE THEY CUT BACK FAR ENOUGH, OR REQUIRE CUT BACKS TO EXISTING DRIVE SURFACES. | |Steve Pollazzi

Description of Work: They dug out and removed damaged areas of my driveway and resurfaced the existing driveway with 2" top asphalt. It took several days for them to call back after I contacted them. However, they showed up on time for the estimate and the actual job, they explained everything in detail, and they did all the work they contracted for. The driveway looks great, and so far it is holding up well. Everything went as anticipated and I am very happy with their work.

Description of Work: Tedesco Silvestera removed my whole driveway, regraded and repaved (two layers of pavement). They dramatically improved the pitch and look of our driveway. They really did a nice job. Workers were very courteous and easy to be around. The only reason for the B on punctuality was that other job delays and permitting delayed the start of our project. Once they began the project they were very timely and if they were running late they gave me a call to let me know. They explained the whole process and why the driveway needed extra cure time. Would highly recommend them to family and friends and woulld definitely use again.

+ -1 moreSal and his team came to pave our driveway, which is approximately 1440 sq. ft. They arrived promptly, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves. They went above and beyond and solved our driveway drainage problems. Sal's suggestions on drainage, where to pave, which pavers should be removed, etc. were excellent and we took his advice. Sal gave us specific instructions on how to care for the driveway and the next steps in the curing process. I would highly recommend Tedesco Paving!

+ -1 moreThe driveway was in terrible condition. Sal was very punctual when he came to my home for the estimate and for starting the work when he committed to. It was three weeks between agreeing to the estimate and starting the work. He is very personable and his work estimate was spot-on. I had gotten a previous estimate that was $2500 more. This was a long driveway and his team of three finished in 1 day. I would highly recommend Tedesco paving.
Description of Work: Asphalt Paving for a residential driveway. This is a long driveway that goes back to a small separate garage. Removal of the entire driveway was not required. Sal and his team did a terrific job.

+ -1 moreInitially contacted Sal for bid along with several other pavers. Sal called back quickly, came out, measured, and quoted on the spot. Others took several days or weeks to respond. Called Sal to schedule work. He came in the afternoon of the promised day, a little late only because he had to switch asphalt supplier due to shut down. Sal provided good instructions (including pamphlet) on care and use of new driveway, including waiting a year before coating.
Description of Work: Paved an existing driveway, opened and filled all cracks and applied a new layer of asphalt, driveway approximately 60 feet long with apron to garage and tail.

+ -1 moreThe contractor came to give me an estimate when he said he would, and it was reasonable. His work was outstanding work, and there were no problems what so ever. His workers were courteous and they explained all what was going to happen.

They showed up on time to perform the work and finished in less that a day. The workers were pleasant and they all worked throughout the time they were at our house.
Description of Work: Repaved driveway with new asphalt on top of current driveway. Dug up end near garage to re-grade area around tree. Also removed old sidewalk section that is no longer used. (Also re-paved neighbors adjoining driveway which helped reduce the overall cost).

The driveway looks great and his was by far the lowest estimate we got (we had numbers up to $8,000). Time will tell if it is as sturdy as he assures me it will be, but something about his seasoned demeanor reassured me.
Description of Work: Removed skim coat and re-paved short (4 car lengths?) driveway. He was up-front about addressing my concerns about not removing the cracked concrete underneath, gave clear care instruction, and was nice to my kids.
