"[Member Name Removed] is the type of customer that no company would want. She had threatened to write negative reviews if we didn't give her a refund after the work was completed. Also, the work order contract was signed that "the work was satisfactorily completed". At no time during the job was anything knocked over -- utter lies! If she was not satisfied with the service provided, why would our Work Order Contract be signed that "the work was satisfactorily completed"? She waited until the crew was finished and left her home before she contacted us for a refund. The problem is she never spent one penny directly with Quick-Kleen to give her any sort of refund. She purchased a Groupon from Groupon. In fact, she was so upset about having to pay the tax on the Groupon that she actually paid the tax with nickles, dimes and pennies. $12.53 in nickles, dimes and pennies! Who does that? A desperate customer that Quick-Kleen does not want. If you have to break open your piggy-bank just to pay the tax, you probably should not be spending money to get this done in the first place. She also wrote negative reviews on other sites that have since been removed by those sites as unreliable. Maybe that means she's done this to other companies also. Please be cautious to provide any type of service to her and cover your tracks. She will try to get over on you --- guaranteed!"
"It's very unusual for a customer to wait almost two years later to post a negative review. After looking up the order form for [member name removed], it is clear that her post is unfair and inaccurate. First of all, she states that she wanted the steps done and she claims that we did not do them. That is a lie. Her order form states that she did get 10 steps pressure washed and stained and the cost for these steps were $75.00. The total cost for pressure washing and staining her deck, 10 steps, 43 spindles and 4 support beams was $294.80 including the tax. It doesn't sound to me that is was so expensive as she claims in her complaint. Also, the fact that she is complaining at all is surprising because she did not have this job done at her own house but at a different address AND she never called to register a complaint with our company since the work was completed in 2013. And now, out of the blue, she posts a complaint on Angie's List in 2015. How valid is this woman's complaint? We would be happy to post a copy of the Work Order Contract stating these facts. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to these lies."
"First of all, the customer's complaint is filled with untrue statements. We were never notified of a problem so of course, we could not respond until now. The truth is that the customer only paid $56.65 with her LivingSocial voucher, and not $200.00 as she stated. We accepted her LivingSocial voucher after her voucher was already expired. Her voucher expired in September, 2011 and we honored the voucher for the full amount three months after it already expired, which most companies would never do. We never tell the customer to place towels on the carpet to sop up the water as she stated in her complaint. We tell the customer to place towels or bedsheets on the walkways to protect the carpet from picking up dirt from shoes while it is drying. We do offer a 2 week guarantee on all of our services, and if the customer would have filed a complaint within the 2 week period, we certainly would have corrected any problems that she had. After our 2-week guarantee expires, we will send a crew back to the customers home to correct any problems with a $35.00 service fee on all carpet cleaning services. We wish she would have filed a timely complaint if she truly was not satisfied, instead of posting negative comments on any message board, without giving the company an opportunity to correct any problems. Remember, a company can not correct a problem if it not aware of the problem. Thanks for the opportunity to respond to this unfounded complaint."
"We are sorry that the member was not satisfied with our service. However, we do have rules that must be followed in order to complete a job and to correct a problem. We did not ignore her request to move the washer and dryer. We explained to the member that we are able to move these appliances only if the gas and water lines are long enough to move them away from the wall. We do not not disconnect the gas and water lines as this can cause more serious problems. However, if the gas and water lines are already disconnected upon our arrival, we will gladly move and replace these appliances. The problem with the peeling paint from the floor is a result of using harsh chemicals and/or the wrong type of scrub brush on the floor when her dog had these accidents. It takes weeks, and even months for some types of paint to "cure". If harsh cleaning solutions and stiff-bristle brushes are used before the paint has cured, the paint will certainly be removed very easily. In any event, we always leave the left over paint with the customer for these types of touch-ups. If the customer does not want to repaint these small areas, we would be happy to return to repaint these areas at a service charge of only $50.00. We feel that we are very fair with every customer and we will do anything within reason to satisfy every customer. We do offer a two week guarantee on all of our services. If a complaint is filed within this two-week period, we will return (at no charge) to correct the problem. We feel this is more than enough time to report a problem. The member waited for several months to notify us of her complaint. Even now (9 months later), we would be happy to return to the member's home to repaint the areas of paint that she removed, with our normal $50.00 service fee. Please call us at 1-800-338-5344 if you would like us to return. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint."
